Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall administration and daily operation of on campus residence halls.

  • Expected to reside on campus throughout employment with Summer Programs.

  • Assist with staff move-ins at the start of summer.

  • Manage a team of housing & student life professionals to ensure student safety, engagement and building oversight.

  • Collaborate on any issues surrounding the housing assignment process for all summer programs.

  • Assist with Summer Programs check-ins and move-outs.

  • Serve as an escalation contact for students and parents with housing concerns

  • Assist the Director and Associate Director of Summer Programs Student Life in documenting all major processes and reports.

  • Follow up on open work orders and the status of ongoing facilities concerns.

  • Provide orientation, training, supervision and regular evaluation of assigned building staff.

  • Conduct weekly meetings with summer residential staff to develop and review goals/outcomes achieved, discuss issues, recognize contributions, provide and solicit feedback.

  • Support Resident Assistants in the design, execution and assessment of student programming activities.

  • Work with Associate Director of Summer Programs Student Life to oversee staff budget for programming, events, and unexpected costs.

  • Some travel may be required.

Crisis Intervention

  • Serve on the Senior-On-Call rotation, providing 24/7 coverage during each shift.

  • While on call, be accessible to respond at all times.

  • Must be within 15-minutes of campus while serving On Call.

  • Follow protocol when responding to incidents.

  • Provide appropriate follow up and documentation to incidents.

  • Serve as the college representative during non-business hours.

  • Respond to incidents that involve any Berklee student and/or guests.

Student Conduct

  • Hear cases for the Summer Programs student population.

  • Review and delegate cases in the Maxient system.

  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss cases.

  • Adjudicate students in violation of any policies.

  • Maintain timely and accurate judicial records.

  • Participate in written and verbal communication with students and parents surrounding conduct concerns, follow-ups and sanctions.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a Higher Education/Student Affairs graduate program or comparable experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in housing/residence life preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Position begins June 1, 2026 and ends on August 14, 2026. However, Area Supervisors will have 10 hours of remote training beginning mid-May. Employees must be available for key weekends, specifically Aspire: Five-Week Summer Performance's check-in (July 5th) and Aspire Move-Out (August 7th.)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, and serving as a member of the Human Resources leadership team, the Senior Director of Benefits and Compensation is a key advisor to leadership, faculty and staff throughout Berklee on health, welfare, retirement benefits and compensation. This position is responsible for the design, assessment, analysis, evaluation, and financial management of all benefits programs and, in close collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, provides analysis reporting, benchmarking and consultation on compensation matters.

Strategic Analysis and Reporting

  • Provide senior management with data-driven analysis and recommendations for retirement offerings, including defined benefit pension and 403(b) plans.

  • Research and synthesize industry best practices and trends in retirement plan design to benchmark Berklee's current offerings.

  • Work closely with benefit brokers, retirement actuaries, ERISA experts, and other external constituents to ensure proper reporting and compliance.

  • Audit and ensure the effectiveness of existing benefits plans, policies and procedures.

  • Provide regular claims reporting, ensuring leadership is apprised of claims activity as it relates to budgeting.

  • Track and report on national trends, industry trends.

  • Research and analyze competitive health, welfare retirement and wellness practices to ensure that our programs are current, competitive, and flexible.

  • Perform regular job analysis and benchmark positions to the market. Produce annual benchmark pay recommendations.

Reporting to the Vice President, Accounting, the Senior Director, Tax and Treasury is a newly created position that will lead and serve as a key advisor for all tax and treasury matters for the company. As the head of tax, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic tax planning and leading all aspects of the company's tax function, including managing third-party service providers engaged to assist with tax accounting, compliance, and reporting (including US federal and state, international, and indirect taxes) for a growing public biotech company. In addition, this role will be responsible for treasury activities, including managing the company's treasury portfolio to ensure optimal liquidity, risk management, and capital efficiency.


This position will be responsible for collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Supply Chain, and external tax advisors and auditors, to support strategic business objectives and maintain compliance with global requirements. This role will also serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on tax implications of business decisions, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong communication skills.



Responsibilities:



  • Tax Planning and Strategy

    • Develop and execute appropriate tax planning strategies and recommendations in partnership with external tax advisors that align with the company's long-term business objectives.
    • Advise senior leadership on the tax implications of key business decisions, including providing analysis of the tax impact of proposed transactions and developing tax efficient solutions.
    • Proactively monitor and analyze changes in tax law to identify potential planning opportunities or issues, and communicate their impact on the company.
    • Lead special tax projects or studies such as transfer pricing, R&D tax credits, and/or other ad hoc initiatives, as needed.


  • Tax Compliance

    • Collaborate with our third-party tax provider to accurately and timely prepare the filings of all federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
    • Manage any tax disputes, resolve notices and drive continuous improvement to reduce recurring issues, as needed.
    • Ensure all cross-border transactions are properly documented and supported for tax filing purposes.
    • Provide timely and accurate responses to tax-related inquiries from cross-functional teams.




  • Tax Accounting and Reporting

    • Manage third-party tax provider on the quarterly and annual income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740.
    • Collaborate with Financial Reporting to ensure all tax-related disclosures in SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) are prepared accurately and in compliance with US GAAP.
    • Maintain robust internal controls and documentation over tax processes, ensuring compliance with SOX 404(b) requirements and clear roles and responsibilities with relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and advisors to ensure a smooth and efficient tax reporting and compliance process, proactively implementing process improvements as needed.




  • Treasury and Banking

    • Oversee global cash management and all banking, insurance and investment management partner relationships.
    • Evaluate treasury policies and procedures, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and leading implementation of treasury best practices.
    • Collaborate with FP&A on global cash management activities to ensure cash flows support current and future operational needs.
    • Manage fixed income investment portfolio and foreign exchange risk in line with corporate policies.
    • Oversee treasury management systems and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Perform financial analysis of investment positions with an emphasis on maximizing return and improving liquidity, while minimizing risk.
    • Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.

About the Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Counseling & Advocacy Services, you will provide essential mental health support to a diverse and talented student body. This role balances high-impact clinical care with innovative community outreach, ensuring our students are supported both in the office and across the campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide short-term individual and group psychotherapy and maintain an active clinical caseload.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide referrals to community providers for specialized or longer-term care.
  • Develop and lead community mental health initiatives specifically tailored to the unique needs of various student populations (e.g., expressive arts offerings).
  • Participate in an on-call clinician rotation to provide vital crisis intervention and triage.
  • Provide clinical supervision to interns and consultation to faculty, staff, and student leaders.
  • Serve as a consultant for post-hospitalization discharge planning and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Wellness team on psycho-educational programming and outreach.

Key Requirements:

  • Current licensure in Massachusetts (LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist).

  • Strong skills in psychological assessment, individual therapy, and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with multicultural and diverse student populations.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and a solid understanding of student development theories.
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Suite, EHR software, and creative platforms like Canva.
  • Bonus points: Board Certification in Music Therapy or specific experience working with performing artists.

  • Clinician: $74,000 to $87,000
  • Senior Clinician: $79,000 to $100,000

Job Description:

The Summer Programs Temporary Operations Assistant is responsible for providing high-level operational support for all Summer Programs. This person will provide operational planning and support prior to and during programming, assist families with any outstanding business (health and safety requirements, etc.), and check students into their programs. The person in this role interfaces with families and Summer Programs students, assesses student needs, and assists with troubleshooting as necessary. This person will offer support to the Aspire: Five-Week office staff, Summer Programs staff, program directors, and Summer Programs advising staff as needed. This person must be available to work on select evenings and weekends in June through August 2026. The person in this role will serve as an on-campus Summer Programs representative.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Attending to the needs of program participants, their parents, Summer Programs faculty, and related staff via phone/email and in person

  • Aiding customers by connecting them with the relevant resources to resolve any issues from check-in to acclimating to their program

  • Supporting applicant account management across multiple databases (Salesforce, Colleague, Magnus Health)

  • Operating as a liaison with the Office of Student Affairs and Office of Student Life to expedite solutions to any issues that may arise

  • Checking students in and assisting them as they begin their programs

  • Preparing and distributing time-sensitive program materials

  • Providing basic programmatic support to Program Directors, including outside of general business hours

  • Reviewing and responding to student requests for nights away

  • Coordinating logistics with Dining Hall staff, including ordering catered meals, and communicating student rosters per program

  • Roommate Requests: Responsible for processing Summer Programs roommate requests, including: student/parent communication, verifying eligibility, administrative back-end work in StarRez

  • Other duties as assigned, within the scope of the description

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal customer service skills and experience in dealing with challenging customer interaction situations

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Creative and flexible problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Computer literacy (specifically Mac OS, Microsoft Suite, spreadsheet management)

  • Ability to work weekends and evenings

  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work as a member of a team

  • Entry-level working knowledge of college computer systems or equivalent (Colleague, Salesforce, Workday, education industry CRM systems)

  • Experience in music education preferred
