Position Summary


HASI is currently seeking a Director or Senior Director with renewable asset investing experience to join our team. This individual will lead a team which manages closing, funding and transaction management activities across HASI’s investments. The types of investments include solar (utility scale and distributed), storage, wind, clean fuels, EV and other sustainable infrastructure projects. Payroll & Time Keeping:

  • Execute end-to-end bi-weekly payroll for US (UKG) and Canada (ADP), managing all lifecycle events (new hires, terminations, rate changes) and validating timekeeping data for accuracy.
  • Calculate and validate biweekly sales commissions and recoverable draws, ensuring strict adherence to variable compensation plans and accurate tax treatment for supplemental earnings.
  • Issue replacement checks or reissue direct deposits in case of payroll errors or final discharge.
  • Ensure proper coding of earnings, deductions (e.g. 401k(k)), and tax exemptions.
  • Prepare and reconcile post-payroll financial reports, including General Ledger (GL) files, 401(k) funding, and union remittances, resolving any variances with the Finance & Accounting teams.
  • Track and reconcile paid time off accumulations and ensure accurate payroll payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end payroll accruals and variances for Accounting review.
  • Serve as the primary support for payroll SOX audits, including gathering evidence, pulling reports, and ensuring documentation aligns with control requirements.
