We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution for identity graph and data partnership initiatives, critical to enabling high-performance, privacy-compliant targeting across our CTV advertising platform. This role will focus on developing and refining identity resolution capabilities, managing graph-based data integrations, and expanding the reach and accuracy of our audience recognition and measurement infrastructure.


Success in this role will require a blend of deep technical expertise in identity data, graph modeling, and data architecture, as well as strong product instincts and cross-functional leadership skills. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and external data partners to build a resilient and scalable identity foundation for precise audience targeting and measurement.


What you'll do:



  • Own the identity product strategy at tvScientific

    • Lead the product vision for tvScientific's identity graph, enabling persistent, multi-device recognition across CTV and digital channels.
    • tvSci Identity will service multiple teams throughout the product and engineering ecosystem, it will be your role to align with leadership of those teams to gather requirements, define goals and monitor success.
    • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to architect and optimize graph-based data models that represent user identity, household relationships, and device linkages.
    • Design APIs and services for real-time identity resolution, enrichment, and activation in programmatic ad workflows.


  • Grow identity data partnerships

    • Source, evaluate, and onboard third-party identity and behavioral data providers to enhance graph completeness and targeting capabilities.
    • Work with Legal, Security, and Data teams to ensure all data partnerships comply with CCPA, GDPR, and other global privacy standards.
    • Lead the technical integration and operationalization of new identity and graph enrichment partners, ensuring reliable ingestion, mapping, and deployment.
    • Maintain an ongoing view of the identity and data ecosystem, and recommend partnership or build strategies accordingly.


  • Deliver world-class adtech product

    • Write detailed product requirements, data specifications, and user stories for identity graph services and data integration projects.
    • Coordinate with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to deliver performant graph storage, traversal, and querying systems.
    • Support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success with technical narratives that explain the role and value of identity resolution in CTV targeting.
    • Define and monitor key metrics related to graph quality (e.g., match rates, accuracy, persistence), identity coverage, and performance impact.


  • Drive Industry Leadership

    • Stay current with advancements in privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), identity standards, and regulatory shifts impacting identity data use in advertising.
    • Represent tvScientific in industry forums and with partners to position the company as a leader in CTV identity and data interoperability.




What we're looking for:



  • Experience in product management, technical partnerships, or solutions engineering roles focused on data-driven products, audience targeting, or marketing technology.
  • Strong background working with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to operationalize audience strategies.
  • Expertise in audience segmentation, identity resolution, data onboarding, and activation workflows.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale tvScientific's contract and billing systems that support direct advertisers, internal teams, and Finance. This role focuses on building backend services that can support a wide range of contract structures and billing models while maintaining strong guarantees around correctness, auditability, and operational reliability.


You'll work on systems that must operate accurately across different commercial relationships and external partners, ensuring our contract logic remains consistent, flexible, and maintainable as the business scales.

What you'll do:



  • Design and implement backend systems for contract lifecycle management, including creation, versioning, approvals, amendments, and renewals

The Measurement Products team helps advertisers measure the incremental impact of their Pinterest campaigns and make informed investment decisions. We own and operate core measurement products including Pinterest Conversion Lift (PCL) Studies and Brand Lift Studies.


We build the platform these products run on and are evolving it into our nextgen Measurement Hub, an extensible platform that enables faster product iteration, onboarding of new study types, and deeper integration with Pinterest's enterprise data and experimentation systems. Our mission is to measure true incremental impact and translate it into actionable insights for advertisers and partners.


Role Summary


We're seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture and technical direction of the measurement platform behind how advertisers understand the impact of their investment on Pinterest. You'll drive endtoend platform evolution (pipelines, services, correctness, reliability), partner closely with Product and Data Science, and raise the bar on rigor, trust, and operational excellence in ads measurement.



What you'll do:

  • Own endtoend architecture and delivery of features for lift measurement products, from design and implementation through rollout and ongoing reliability.
  • Design, build, and optimize largescale data pipelines that power study setup, experiment execution, and results computation.
  • Drive AI enablement across the team by building the supporting tooling and processes (CI checks, test strategy, templates), coaching engineers, and ensuring adoption results in sustained improvements to delivery speed and system quality.
  • Translate measurement methodology into production systems: partner with Data Science to operationalize study design requirements into pipelines, services, tooling, and guardrails.
  • Build "rigor by default" mechanisms: automated data validation, randomization/holdout integrity checks, imbalance diagnostics, and continuous verification/backtesting.
  • Raise the bar on data quality and trust: define SLAs, build monitoring and anomaly detection, and lead rootcause analysis for pipeline and study issues.
  • Mentor and up level engineers, driving strong technical execution and crossfunctional collaboration.


What we're looking for:

  • BS+ in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on dataintensive systems.
  • Strong proficiency building and operating largescale data pipelines (batch and/or streaming) using Java/Scala/Kotlin or Python, plus SQL.
  • Experience designing reliable services and APIs, with solid foundations in distributed systems, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform a team's engineering workflow using AI-from pilot to broad adoption-through tooling, enablement, and change leadership, with clear metrics (cycle time, defect rate, on-call load, incident rate).
  • Experience in AdTech and measurement products (e.g., conversion lift, brand lift) or adjacent experimentation/analytics platforms.

The AI/ML Serving Platform team provides foundational tools and infrastructure used by hundreds of AI/ML engineers across Pinterest, including recommendations, ads, visual search, growth/notifications, trust and safety. The Programmatic Ads team integrates with external demand partners (DSPs, SSPs, etc) through OpenRTB. We drive performance optimization (latency, conversion, engagement, fill rate, etc) for our programmatic ad products. The Privacy & Conversion Data team is responsible for how the company safely and compliantly uses conversion data to power monetization. We build and operate the core privacy infrastructure behind ads reporting and optimization, including controlled data environments, finegrained access controls, centralized privacy rules enforcement, and deidentification pipelines for conversion data. Our mission is to make conversion data privacypreserving by default-centralized, deidentified, auditable, and easy for teams to use, while maintaining high utility for advertisers and staying ahead of an evolving global regulatory landscape.



Role Summary


We're seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture and technical direction for the conversion data privacy platform, spanning both core Conversion Data systems and deidentification for ads reporting. You'll own the endtoend design and evolution of privacycritical pipelines and services, partner closely with Product, Data Science, Legal, and infrastructure teams, and set the technical bar for how we use conversion data safely at scale.



What you'll do:



  • Lead the technical strategy and architecture for conversion data privacy across access controls, deidentification, deletion, and privacy rules enforcement, driving toward a centralized, deidentifiedbydefault, automated privacy platform for monetization.
  • Design and evolve core privacy infrastructure including controlled environments for sensitive data, finegrained authorization and policy enforcement, and a central policy repository that consistently governs access across major data platforms and query engines.
  • Own deidentification pipelines for ads reporting endtoend-from separating sensitive and nonsensitive data, applying deidentification techniques and transformations, and generating privacypreserving datasets, to validating data utility and feeding reporting and analytics surfaces.
  • Build and improve privacy frameworks and tooling (for both online and offline workflows) that make safe, compliant conversion data usage simple and selfservice for downstream teams, reducing onboarding friction for new datasets, restrictions, and use cases.
  • Drive operational excellence and compliance by defining SLAs, building robust monitoring and alerting (e.g., deidentification quality, optout metrics, data leakages), leading incident response, and developing performant deletion and leakagehandling workflows that meet regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Partner crossfunctionally with ads, data, product, legal, and infrastructure stakeholders to translate legal/privacy requirements into technical designs, make clear tradeoffs between privacy and utility, and drive alignment on roadmaps, launches, and policy changes that impact advertisers and users.
  • Mentor and uplevel engineers across multiple teams, lead critical design and code reviews in privacysensitive areas, and establish best practices and documentation for privacybydesign, deidentification, and largescale data systems.


What we're looking for:



  • BS+ in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on largescale data systems or distributed systems.

You will collaborate on a wide array of business problems with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics and others.


The role is within the Marketing team and would be supporting business marketing efforts focused on driving revenue growth for Pinterest.



What you'll do:



  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of advanced marketing measurement frameworks and statistical models to quantify marketing ROI. Marketing channels could be different paid media, organic social, email, in person events, webinars, elearning platform etc.
  • Build and deploy statistical and machine learning models such as propensity, forecasting, and lifetime value (LTV) models-to optimize marketing strategies and enhance audience targeting.
  • Develop and refine attribution methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across multiple channels.
  • Assess the incremental impact of marketing activities using causal inference techniques and testing/experiment frameworks.
  • Conduct deep, strategic analyses to address key business questions, such as how to improve marketing ROI, how to improve marketing budget allocation to optimize the business impact, measuring the impact of marketing in both mature and new markets, identifying opportunities to increase advertiser growth and revenue through marketing initiatives
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Design, maintain, and promote dashboards and automated reporting tools to empower stakeholders with self-serve, data-driven decision-making capabilities. Build and optimize ETL data pipelines to automate reporting, support deep dive analysis and feature engineering for analytical models.


What we're looking for:



  • 3+ years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to solve real-world problems.
  • Masters degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science or engineering.
  • Hands-on experiences with building marketing measurement solutions to quantify the business impact of marketing tactics and investments.

Pinterest helps Pinners discover and do what they love. The Content Success team is responsible for ensuring that Pinners see fresh new products, ideas and inspiration in their recommendations and that Content Producers receive value from the platform through exposure, engagement and monetization.   • Lead, mentor and grow a team of experienced backend and machine learning engineers in developing advanced signals, integrations and systems, which are integral to key Pinterest products across Discovery, Ads, and Growth.
