- Serve as the subject matter expert on benefit compliance topics, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, Section 125, and other federal/state regulations.
- Provide proactive guidance and day-to-day support to clients on a wide range of compliance questions.
- Assist with compliance reviews and audits, offering actionable insights and support.
- Partner with clients and vendors to support ACA reporting, RxDC, PCORI filings, and non-discrimination testing.
Compliance Documentation & Tools
- Coordinate essential compliance documents with vendor partners including:
- Compliance Notice Packets
- Custom client forms (e.g., affidavits, certifications)
- Wrap Documents
- Section 125/POP Plan Documents
- Support client agreement processes including Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Compensation Disclosure Statements (CDS), Service Fee Agreements (SFAs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

Education & Communication

Education

Knowledge & Experience
- 710+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits, healthcare compliance, or legal/regulatory roles
- Experience supporting self-funded and fully insured health plans

The Tempus Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Compliance specialist has a key role in supporting the state and the agency partners in ensuring PCA program participants are compliant with the use of EVV and the EVV policies. This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing the Tempus FI aspects of the EVV Compliance policies set forth by MassHealth and ensures Tempus FI satisfies contract requirements.
This role involves a broad range of tasks including: preparing compliance reports and dashboards for the state, agencies and internal teams, monitoring EVV compliance metrics and supporting CMS-related reviews and compliance assessments, overseeing/initiating needed changes to the PowerBI dashboard, researching non-compliance cases, assisting with corrective action plans and/or process improvements, and communicating across departments, with MassHealth and other contracted agencies. The Corporate Compliance Assistant reports to the Senior Manager of Corporate Compliance and provides critical administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of compliance activities.
This role is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate tracking tools, coordinating communications, assisting with documentation needs, and supporting compliance processes across the department.
The Corporate Compliance Admin works closely with internal business units to gather information, support investigations, and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Product of Role & Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Compliance team, including scheduling, document preparation, and communication follow ups.
Assist with data collection and requests from internal departments and external stakeholders.
Support audit preparation activities and maintain organized, secure documentation.
Process mail merges for biannual Service Verification mailings.
Coordinates mailing activities for Corporate Compliance, including preparing and sending request letters, conducting weekly office visits to support incoming mail, and distributing mail to appropriate parties.
Maintain and regularly update the various Corporate Compliance Trackers, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
Supports Corporate Compliance Investigators by tracking due dates for key investigatory activities, monitoring case timeliness, and sending reminders to promote timely completion of case-related tasks.
Assist the Senior Manager of Corporate Compliance with populating data in presentations for committee meetings.
Input all Medicare compliance activities onto the Compliance Oversight Activities table and ensure all entries are current and complete.
Assists with Corporate Compliance Work Plan activities, which may include but are not limited to, conducting outbound calls for the provider directory audit and compiling supporting documents.
Monitors the exclusion screening vendor dashboard to ensure internal departments are completing required reviews in a timely manner; maintains user access by adding, removing and updating users as needed.

Education, Training & Professional Experience: High school diploma.
College degree preferred.
1–3 years of administrative support experience in compliance and/or health plan operations.
Experience working in a regulated industry (healthcare, insurance, government).
Familiarity with medical terminology or claim billing concepts is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, track deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
Experience working with confidential or sensitive information is preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Support
- Assist in sourcing vendors, gathering quotes, and comparing pricing and quality.
- Help maintain vendor communication, track order statuses, and support issue resolution related to product quality or delivery.
- Update and organize purchase records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Support tracking of vendor performance and service metrics.
Planning & Allocation
- Partner with teams to help prepare allocation plans aligned with project timelines and seasonal needs.

Qualifications
- Junior, Senior, or recent graduate Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Operations, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate day-to-day retail initiatives, timelines, and deliverables across stores and corporate teams
- Serve as a central point of contact for information flow between the field and corporate partners
- Collect store feedback and operational updates for internal stakeholders
Retail Meetings & Stakeholder Alignment
- Coordinate and manage weekly retail meetings, including agenda development, materials preparation, and follow-up
- Consolidate updates, performance results, and discussion topics from cross-functional partners
- Document meeting notes, decisions, and action items; track ownership and completion
- Ensure alignment and accountability across teams on priorities and next steps
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Compile and maintain retail performance reports (GM Assessment, Quarterly Action Plans, Weekly Recaps, and Ad hoc analysis)

- Monitor execution of action plans tied to performance results and operational priorities
Project Management & Execution Support

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, retail management, or corporate retail support
- Experience working with retail data, KPIs, and performance reporting
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with dashboards and BI tools a plus
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills with data
- Highly organized with proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
