Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager or designee, will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. He or she may advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.

Your Role:
Responsible to ensure compliance with Regulatory, Corporate and Local Quality requirements and for providing Quality oversight of Vantive US and Canada warehousing and distribution operations, including internal warehouse site QA activities, internal renal fleet drivers, external warehousing partners (i.e., 3PL providers, wholesalers, freight forwarders and consolidation/ deconsolidation centers), and external transportation providers.
Oversight of distribution/warehouse-related external suppliers.
Act as a key partner with US and Canada Vantive Operations (including Supply Chain, Logistics and Fulfillment) to manage Quality requirements and oversight of all 3PL activities.
Responsible for compliance with FDA and Health Canada requirements, ISO standards and Vantive QMSby applying rigorous quality standards, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for the implementation of Distribution QA activities to ensure compliance to FDA and Health Canada requirements. This includes activities related to issue management (product dispositions, deviations, complaint investigations, holds), site QA management (pest control, temperature monitoring, returns, validation) and internal/supplier/3PL QA management (warehouses, internal private fleet, transportation carriers, suppliers impacting fulfillment).
Participate in discussions and on projects and cross-functional teams as required.
Support distribution and warehousing-associated external suppliers which includes audit support, supplier corrective action requests, quality/distribution agreements, new supplier requests, supplier notifications of change and change controls.
Work closely with UCAN planning and fulfillment organizations to meet business goals and objectives.
Facilitate and assist in GMP, ISO, US state distribution/pharmacy licensing and other internal/external audits and investigations pertaining to Vantive and/or 3PL facilities, where applicable.

Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a clinical pharmacy specialist in neonatal intensive care.
Position Details: The clinical specialist will join an on-site faculty member to provide direct patient care in the Parkview Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
In preparation for pediatric service line growth and changes, continued pharmacy expertise is needed in this area.
Currently this location is undergoing many facility updates (room renewal, expansion, and technology updates) along with an expansion of care for pediatric gastroenterology, endocrinology, cardiology, and hematology/oncology specialist services.
Parkview Health has been a collaborator partner with Cincinnati Children’s for overall a decade to improve the health and outcomes for children in our region.
This collaboration is now enhancing to bring neurosurgery, rheumatology, and drug-resistant epilepsy consultation services with telehealth clinics with world-class providers.
As part of an established pediatric pharmacy program, this specialist will benefit from close relationships with physicians and other care providers in both the inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings.
Parkview Health has provided specialty pharmacy services in pediatrics for over 25 years and are continually being asked to expand into additional responsibilities.
This role will have a targeted role in the level III neonatal intensive care unit with additional coverage of other pediatrics areas for weekend pediatrics coverage.
The role is a full-time, 1.0 FTE in the NICU with every 4th weekend for pediatric staffing to provide advanced and uninterrupted levels of care to this patient population .
This pharmacist will participate in collaborative rounding and consult management daily, weekly disposition rounds, pharmacy-based projects, multidisciplinary committees, and will precept student pharmacists and pharmacy residents.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a closed-door pharmacy facility without the typical stressors of retail pharmacy work, as there is no direct patient contact. In this position, you won't be responsible for data entry tasks, making calls to doctors' offices, or processing insurance claims. This position is located in our climate-controlled, closed-door pharmacy facility featuring automation technology and modern amenities.
In this position, in accordance with state and federal regulations, you will assist in the training of team members, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy within the Micro fulfillment Center. You will assist leadership in the team members' performance of Micro fulfillment Center duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Job Responsibilities
* Ensures Micro fulfillment Centers interactions with the pharmacies served receive the patient's prescriptions in timely manner. Resolves store issues as they relate to prescription requests to ensure a positive customer experience.
* Models and shares best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.)
* Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers and team members.

Continually monitor supply levels of inks, paper, and other required materials to add as needed. Explains procedure to patient, including side effects of pharmaceuticals administered, risks, benefits, alternatives and follow-up.
Sets up equipment and acquires appropriate images as per script.
Reviews images, makes initial observations, documents exceptions from established protocols and communicates data to radiologist.
Recognizes and responds to medical emergencies as appropriate.
Provides physician-prescribed post care instructions to patients.
Participates in process improvement activities within radiology practice including but not limited to quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis and patient satisfaction.
Provides imaging education to residents, student technologists and new employees.
Able to take call/standby as required by the department.
May perform the duties of a Radiologic Technologist, as needed.
1.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
2.
Required to have or successfully complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support
- Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period.
3.
One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Skills Required 1.
Analytical and clinical skills necessary to determine the most age appropriate method of providing requested radiographs specific to patient's physical ability and/or limitations.

Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to deal effectively with and instruct patients who may be under physical/emotional stress; ability to comprehend and follow physicians verbal and written request and prescriptions; ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse atmosphere with a variety of hospital personnel and/or patients.

Technical knowledge necessary to operate equipment including but not limited to all specialized equipment and computers.
4.
Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities.
5.
Knowledge and understanding of American College of Radiology requirements for accreditation.
6.
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting and positioning of patients.
Physical ability to stand, bend, push, pull, reach and lift in order to provide patient care.
7.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate and utilize all types of imaging equipment and supplies in order to produce images of acceptable diagnostic quality.
