Quad is seeking a full-time Recycling Technicians at our Franklin, WI facility.
We have the following shift options to offer:
Sunday-Thursday Third Shift: 9 PM- 5AM
Overtime is always a possibility, but never guaranteed. Wages start between $18.00 - $21.00 / hour or more based on relevant work experience and stability with work history. Other responsibilities of the position include:
- Coordination of materials to be recycled within the plant using a forklift or tugger.
- Removal of all recyclables from around the plant
- Depositing recyclables into the recycling system
- Operating the bailing and shredding system
- Separating and storing the various grades of recyclables for shipment
- Loading semi-truck trailers and rail cars
- Complete basic forms for billing and service orders
- Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
- Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to accurately complete billing and shipping forms.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and write; good verbal and written comprehension.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize job needs.

Quad is seeking a Flexo Press Operator for our Spartanburg, SC location. We are looking for operators who are flexible and can work the night shift:
4 pm – 2 am (Mon-Thurs)
Wages start between $19.00 - $25.00 / hour or more based on relevant work experience and a strong employment history.
Essential Functions of this position include:
- Prepare for Operation - Access job ticket information and set up a flexographic printing press to produce labels and other products to customer specifications. Ensure the machine is adequately stocked with the correct raw materials for each job.
- Operate Flexographic Press - Operate assigned equipment in accordance with company safety standards and departmental SOPs to produce printed products according to customer specifications. Continually monitor supply levels of inks, paper, and other required materials to add as needed. Make routine adjustments as needed to maintain print quality and correct any issues as soon as possible.
- Perform Troubleshooting & Maintenance - Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed. Perform basic maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of assigned equipment during shift.
- Perform Quality Checks - Complete quality checklist(s) and other required documentation. - Perform Preventive Maintenance of Traffic Signals: Perform maintenance duties on all traffic signals, flashers, and school flashers once per year. Maintenance duties include, but are not limited to, checking timings and functionality of signal controllers; wiring, loop and video detection, and fan operation; change air filters; ensure signal cabinets are internally and externally free from dust, debris, and foreign objects. Make wiring and other repairs as needed to maintain optimal function.
- Check Traffic Signal System: Support Signal System Supervisor with the maintenance of traffic signal systems. Make field repairs of faulty system equipment. Maintain signal system computer equipment. Download system timings to local intersections through a system master controller. Ensure proper signal timings are uploaded to server. Communicate inventory needs to Signal System Supervisor.
- Respond to Trouble Calls: Respond to trouble calls regarding traffic signal operation, flashers, and school flashers. Trouble calls may involve a traffic signal in a flash condition, power outage, incorrect signal timing, improper signal function, flashers or school flashers not working or functioning properly. Respond to traffic signal detection problems.
- Install New Traffic Signal Cabinets and Equipment: Assist Signal System Supervisor with the installation and setup of traffic signal cabinets. Install and maintain various ITS devices, including PTZ cameras, detection equipment, and travel time monitoring equipment within signal cabinet. Setup 2070 quad, 332, and 336 cabinets inside shop for proper operation at desired location. Help set cabinet on base at intersection. Connect traffic signal wires for proper operation. Adjust traffic signal controls and monitor. Hook-up, adjust and tune traffic signal detectors.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience/training in electronic engineering technology.
- Over two (2) years of experience in electronics and signal systems design.
- International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Level II certification.
- IMSA Sign and Pavement Marking Level I within six (6) months of achieving IMSA Traffic Signal Level II certification or as soon as practical, based on the exam schedule of IMSA.
- Valid South Carolina Class D Driver's License.
- 2070 quad, 332, and 336 cabinets.
- Standard practices, materials, tools and equipment used in electronic electrical trade work.
- Occupational hazards and safety precautions necessary in electrical circuits and wiring systems and ability to apply knowledge to work problems.
