SUMMARY:    The Electrician must have well-rounded industrial electrical skills, and knowledge of set-up and repair of a broad range of production equipment, AC/DC drives PLCs, & relay logic.  This position requires troubleshooting skills at the board level.  The wage range for this position is $20 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience level. Willing to train with some experience.

REQUIREMENTS (Specific knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):

• Experience troubleshooting systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls.
  
• Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is helpful.
  
• Ability to read, create, and understand electrical schematics is required.
  
• PC literacy and CAD experience are a plus.
  
• Follows all Quad Graphics safety procedures.
  
• Performs daily housekeeping functions.
  
• Maintains a work-safe environment.
  
• Cleans spill immediately.
  
• Ensures guards are in place at all times.

Qualifications

• 5 years of maintenance experience on presses and folding or similar equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting. 
  
• Knowledge of diagnosis and repair of machinery electrical controls.
  
• The ability to work a 12-hour night shift ( 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.) including weekends, and holidays, working 3 - 4 days a week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and rotating Saturdays.

What You’ll Work On

As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be a key player in keeping our high-tech production equipment running smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

• Advanced PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics (including ladder logic and online programming)
• Installing and maintaining relay and PLC-controlled systems
• Servicing and calibrating AC/DC motors and drives
• Working with voltages up to 480 VAC
• Performing preventative maintenance and system upgrades
• Reading blueprints and working with both standard and metric measurements

As an Engineer within Seat and Package Development Department you are expected to provide logical designs as part of a project team supporting model developments. Working with project team members and crossfunctionally, you are expected to learn, grow, and develop your know-how and engineering skills.

• Engineering Solution Design – Draft engineering solutions for an assigned component / part (or more complex parts with supervision) and the associated drawings and validation processes, to gather data and provide feedback on their feasibility, costs, quality, and performance.
• Engineering Specifications – Carry out a range of activities under the direct guidance and supervision of more senior engineers to draft engineering specifications for an assigned component / part and the evaluation of their effectiveness, to inform manufacturing work in the organization and / or of its suppliers.
