WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER AT SIGMA:
Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the organization related to project design. Travel to job sites to verify design functionality. Work types can vary, but often involve designing for overhead/underground power for roadway/DOT, waterway, and railroad crossing projects. Will assist with additional design/engineering project tasks as needed.

Executes work orders for fielding and/or design of infrastructure consistently meeting benchmarks for quality, time, and budget constraints.
Performs 2-D Civil and/or Electrical type design in CAD (i.e., PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation), demonstrating an elevated level of proficiency.
Applies comprehensive knowledge of NESC and local code requirements.
Perform planning taking into consideration assessments of current and future power infrastructure needs.
Conducts walkouts alongside contractors to assess the accuracy and quality of completed projects.
Performs a variety of walkouts or kickoff/scope meetings to assist in route analysis, preparation of scope and/or to assist in preparation of bid documents.
Develops, reviews, or presents technical drawings and analysis
Prepares moderate to complex program/project proposals
Perform economic analysis of engineering alternatives taking into consideration costs of construction and maintenance.
Recognized as a safety champion in their work
Takes responsibility for QA/QC activities, formulates lessons learned and creates training tools.
Consults with SMEs or acts as the SME to ensure projects and/or programs meet existing and new regulatory requirements.
Communicates and directs team project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinates with Operations management on the allocation of personnel to meet project objectives.
Collaborate with supervisors to provide feedback to assist in coaching and development of associates as necessary
Liaison between Sigma and the client for issues arising from the field.

Experience Requirements : 5+ years of experience in the Electrical Utility Industry.

- Responsible for implementation of FMS staffing, and medical supply models, to provide quality patient care, and makes recommendations.
- Participates in the recruitment and interview process, and decision to hire new personnel.
- Ensures completion of new hiring orientation and training including mandatory in-services and ICD code training when applicable. Ensures documentation completed for annual in service training, and policy and procedure in service updates.
- Responsible for all patient care employees receiving appropriate training according to FMS policy, including training to ensure ongoing compliance with all FMS risk management initiatives.
- Provides opportunities for professional growth, and training to ensure clinical competence and the ability for licensed staff to assume Team Leader responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing performance of all licensed personnel, direct patient care staff, reporting indirect patient care personnel as assigned, and when necessary, technical staff. Provides employee education and guidance, and feedback related to performance.
- Maintains current knowledge regarding FMCNA benefits, Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes, and acts as a resource to facility staff.
- Provides counseling for all clinical staff members at regular intervals offering support and encouraging professional growth.
- Completes timely employee evaluations and establishes annual goals for staff.
- Provides written documentation of all disciplinary conferences in accordance with the established personnel policies, and confers with the Director and Human Resources regarding the nature of the disciplinary decisions.

- Responsible for strong Director and physician relationships and facilitating staff relationships with physicians.

- Schedules and coordinates CQI meetings with physicians.
MAINTENANCE/TECHNICAL:
- Responsible for the integrity and safety of the facility water system.
- Must be knowledgeable in the operation of all facility equipment and technology.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Responsible for maintaining and updating all FMS manuals.
- Accountable for completion of the Annual Standing Order Review and ICD coding.
- Checks correspondence whether electronic, paper or voice mail, and responds as appropriate.
- Directs information gathering as required supporting billing and collection activities.
- Responsible for efficient utilization of medication, laboratory, inventory, supplies and equipment to achieve supply cost goals following all guidelines established in FMS formularies

The On-Call Building Inspector I position is responsible for inspecting construction of new industrial, commercial, multifamily, and single-family buildings, and remodel work to existing structures, to ensure compliance with approved plans, laws, codes, and regulations, thereby ensuring minimum standards for fire and life/safety codes, structural integrity, and public welfare.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Inspect buildings and structures to ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations relating to building construction, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, state energy code requirements, local zoning requirements, and job site erosion control.
- Investigate compliance complaints and, if necessary, mediate a resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 3 years of construction or inspection experience.
- Or: In place of the above requirements, the incumbent may possess any combination of relevant education and experience which would demonstrate the individual's knowledge, skill, and ability to proficiently perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver's license and ability to remain insurable under the City's insurance to operate motor vehicles.
- Possess and maintain ICC Residential Building Inspector (B1) certification within 1 year.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:
The position is driving to or being at construction sites a majority of the time. Potential hazards at construction sites might include falling objects, loose footing, and construction equipment. The position may be required to climb ladders, occasionally walk on scaffolding, crawl in crawl spaces, and be exposed to inclement weather and adverse conditions. The incumbent is expected to perform as an emergency worker in the event of a disaster.
Positions in this class typically involve indoor and outdoor work in extreme variable temperature and atmospheric conditions. Duties may require extended periods of talking or listening, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, feeling, and seeing. Incumbents may be subjected to being around moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, odors, gasses, poor ventilation, inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
Work typically includes exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 35 pounds of force more frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
This position encounters foot hazards as defined by the WAC, which may include any of the following: falling objects, rolling objects, piercing/cutting injuries, or electrical hazards.
