$23.35 / hour
Performs various tasks associated with cleaning production equipment and general work area. Position may be internal sanitation involving cleaning and maintaining blending and filling equipment to ensure product quality and equipment reliability. Or, position may be external sanitation involving a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and using cleaning devices and agents to sanitize the general work environment. Or, the position may be some combination of both internal and external sanitation duties. Position also includes completing necessary paperwork to document sanitization duties and tasks.
This position requires lifting/carrying between 20 and 45 pounds repeatedly over a long work period as well as lift/carry containers weighing approximately 30-40 pounds repeatedly. Also requires pulling cleaning equipment, kneeling, climbing, crawling, bending, standing and crouching while using cleaning equipment. Position may be required to work weekends and/or holidays.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform various cleaning and organizing duties as assigned
- Maintain all safety standardsFollow food safety standards
- Perform other production duties assigned by supervisor as needed (e.g., line operator, etc.)
- Use cleaning devices and/or chemical agents to sanitize production equipment or environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
- Working with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies (e.g., using chemicals such as acids, caustics, degreasers, using equipment such as foamers, scrubbers, pressure washers, steam machines, or cleaning stainless, conveyors, etc.)
- Reading and using standards of operations (e.g., understanding and using process, procedure, workflow documentation, etc.)
- Working with Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., wearing proper protective equipment, practicing personal hygiene, adhering to safety practices, etc.)
- Preparing documentation (e.g., detailing work or building process flows, etc.)
- Working with industrial chemicals (e.g., using chemicals in a safe way, reading and interpreting labels, selecting and mixing correct chemicals, etc.)
- Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)

The EHS Coordinator contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) by assisting in the promotion and sustainability of a safe work environment along with maintaining regulatory compliance. This includes, but is not limited to, the prevention of human injury, maintaining safe working conditions/practices and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is done through Environmental, Health and Safety training, programs and processes along with a visible and uncompromised commitment to the protection of the environment as well as the productivity of the Company’s employees.
This person is responsible for supporting the deployment and implementation of the EHS agenda by working with the location manufacturing & warehouse teams to integrate safety and environmental programs, Workers' Compensation, prevention efforts, and regulatory compliance into everyday work life. The candidate is expected to provide collaborative, proactive, and creative problem-solving abilities to help implement best-in-class EHS programs for the improvement of the overall strategy and EHS management system. This role will report to the plant director but will support the EHS manager in day to day activities.
Responsibilities
Safety:
- Provide day-to-day support of plant activities including consulting on safety matters, providing personal protective equipment and inspecting facility conditions to help identify hazardous conditions and practices
- Assisting in the facilitation of training programs, including planning training sessions and providing site-specific presentations for the manufacturing & warehouse facility
- Support implementation of site safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate compliance
- Coordinate with the EHS Manager to roll-out new safety standards and best practices; work with plant staff to implement new site Safety Standards
- Support EHS manager in any regulatory information requests and responses
- Support incident investigations with site leadership to include reviewing accidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Support site Safety Committees and promote employee engagement to develop an active and robust safety culture
- Support the site safety standards to meet the PepsiCo Global EHS standards by working alongside the site leadership team
Worker’s Compensation:
- Support EHS manager as needed to manage injury claims, transitional duty and return to work for injured employees
Prepare OSHA logs and support injury record-keeping
Other:
- Maintain and monitor compliance calendar
- Work in team environment, coordinate projects and assignments
- Be part of an effective team within the plant that works well with other functions; sales, marketing, finance, human resources, engineering and corporate EHS
- Execute ad hoc projects as directed by the plant director
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.

Here's a bit more about what your job will be. Day to day you will:
- Be the primary store-level salesperson to large accounts like supermarkets and mass merchants, responsible for growing business in assigned accounts. Generate sales utilizing data, trends, and fact-based selling. Orders products to be delivered and merchandised by another Pepsi employee.
- Drive local and national incremental selling opportunities, volume, revenue share and profit growth by owning and managing communications with Store Owners, Store Managers, and other potential buyers.
- Influence and lead collaboration with a team (called a Pod) of Merchandisers, who will serve as primary in-store service execution providers. Create an agenda and lead daily Pod meeting.
- Manage all aspects of sales execution in large format accounts including upselling (e.g. incremental displays), writing new orders, and managing product inventory levels within assigned accounts.
- Generate sales by using fact-based selling, conducting business reviews, building and leveraging customer relationships, identifying opportunities, developing the sales strategy and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Support and collaborate with team of Merchandisers on customer service excellence, display execution, and inventory management.
- Communicate displays sold and execution needs in large format accounts to Merchandisers to ensure they prepare for their product display build and/or inventory management.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, identify local selling opportunities, including history of sales, and implement a tailored approach to each store.
- Execute local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brands and maximize brand performance.
- Collaborate closely with Territory Sales Leaders, Large Format Sales District Leaders and Merchandisers, and interact with Key Account Managers to target incremental selling opportunities and drive Key Performance Metrics (e.g., Revenue, Volume, Share, Waste, and Profit).
- Communicate with cross functional teams (e.g. deliver and warehouse) to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Confirm that product is available, rotated, and priced appropriately.
- Learn new technologies (e.g. PowerBI), products, and selling skills to grow the accounts and create efficiencies.
- Support Pepsi's strong safety culture by adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Be flexible and available to work a schedule that includes early mornings and may include evenings.
- Periodically lift up to 40 lbs. while performing work activities.
- Handle and move product cases and utilize a pallet jack as needed to inspect inventory levels and expiration dates as part of the ordering and inventory management process.

The Maintenance Manager leads a maintenance department that includes front line supervisors and a team of mechanics. She or he is responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts. Responsibilities include achieving site performance for uptime, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, and building/grounds maintenance. This role will also coach team members to utilize the processes and facilitate problem solving on the floor.

The Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant to manage the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of the PepsiCo Chicago Plant in Illinois. The position reports directly to the Central Regional Coordinator for the PepsiCo/JHU partnership. The position also works closely with the Executive Director and Division Administrator of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-site services forty (40) hours per week at the PepsiCo clinic in Chicago, IL.
- Triage and treat, as appropriate, minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Dispense over the counter and prescription medications in accordance with pre-established standing orders to employees with minor work-related and non-work-related concerns (back pain, headache, pharyngitis).
- Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees presenting lab orders from their PCP.
- Perform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing in accordance with company protocol.
- Provide onsite assessment for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia.
- Provide support and case management for both work-related and non-work-related conditions for the purposes of reducing illness and absenteeism.
- Coordinate second opinions for employees absent due to workers' compensation or disability, as necessary in adherence with company protocols.
- Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.
- Coordinate and plan monthly health education seminars and general wellness events.
- Provide on-site patient education regarding illnesses, medication, treatments, etc.
- Work collaboratively with patients and their PCP/Specialist to facilitate early diagnosis and management of acute and chronic health problems.
Administrative services provided to PepsiCo.
- Maintain and revise, as needed, standardized procedures, protocols, and standing orders.
- Maintain adequate clinical supplies.
- Maintain Letter of Permit Exception with the Illinois Department of Health/CLIA required for lab testing provided on-site.
- Maintain patient medical records.
Work collaboratively with the Benefits and Safety teams
- Coordinate and plan health and wellness events and initiatives.
- To manage workers' compensation claims.
- To expand clinic services and reach.
- Provide crisis management/intervention, as needed.
- Provide general medical advice to the PepsiCo Human Resources and Safety/Risk Management departments.
- Ensure the provision of prompt, appropriate clinical care to all patients in accordance with PepsiCo and Johns Hopkins University protocols, State regulations, and professional standards.
- Develop relationships with clinical providers in the area to provide backup clinical care.
- Ensure timely and appropriate problem resolution and follow-up with PepsiCo employees as required.
- Ensure PepsiCo onsite clinic facilities are neat, clean, and attractive.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine the health status of a patient and implement proper care.

- A comprehensive understanding of outpatient adult medicine, patient care procedures, medical protocols, and testing procedures is necessary.
- Must have general computer knowledge and the ability to use computerized medical information systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; Certification by the NCCPA or similar national certifying body; Completion of a CAAHEP-certified Physician Assistant program.
- Must be licensed in the state where practicing.
- National Board Certification.
- BLS certification.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum twelve months of related experience (adult medicine).
- Experience in Occupational Medicine, Workers' Compensation, and DOT exams.
- DOT Medical Examiner.
- Certified Urine Drug Screen Collector.
- Certified Breath Alcohol Technician.
