Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist works at the direction of the Director of Medical Staff Services. This position performs credentialing and recredentialing for the purpose of Medical and Advance Practice Clinician membership and privileging in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, Policy and Procedure, and in alignment with appropriate regulatory agencies (e.G. DNV, The Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS, etc.)
The Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist manages practitioner files, working cooperatively with practitioners, internal departments, and contract groups ensuring the seamless and timely flow of credentials information in order to meet credentialing deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates Medical/APC Staff credentialing (initial, reappointment applications, temporary privileges and requests for additional privileges) from receipt to approval
Collects and analyzes documents, data and verifications and prepares reports by monitoring data published by regulatory agencies and boards, OIG, NPDB and other applicable sources, screening for any adverse actions
Collaborates with practitioners and/or contract and practice group contacts regarding status of applications, credentialing issues, pending expirations or expirations of required licensure and certifications, or questions related to credentialing and to ensure timely credentialing
Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to resolve discrepancies
Maintains and updates provider databases and files with current documentation
Prepare reports and assist in audits to support organizational compliance.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body regulations - DNV, NCQA, Joint Commission, CMS CoPs, NM state statutes

Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of college in business courses preferred.
Experience:
Two or more yearsβ experience in health care environment working directly with physicians, advanced practice professionals, and office staff demonstrating the ability to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimum supervision.
Credentialing or Medical Staff experience desired.
Above average verbal and written communication skills to promote excellent customer relations, with ability to transmit and receive information accurately
Strong reading and writing skills in English

As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following five areas:Β
Order Picker: You will pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals. At times you will be picking above ground level while adhering to safety procedures.
Restocker: You will scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep your work area for the next shift while adhering to safety procedures.
Bulk Selector: You will be responsible for selecting product, pulling, and packing totes, as well as cutting cases of merchandise and/or stocking product. You will move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt while adhering to safety procedures.
Custodian: Β You will be responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility. In this role, you will clean and sanitize restrooms, vacuum, and remove spots from carpet, sweep and mop floors, clean and dust chairs, partition walls and other miscellaneous furniture, clean windows and brass and collect and remove trash from the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Shipping: You will be responsible for organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders on pallets.β― You will be loading trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment and stacking empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace while adhering to safety procedures.

This is a more detailed look at the 4 main types of duties the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be doing: Performing the day to day processing of financial transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions for goods and services Verifying that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures Preparing, verifying and processing invoices and coding payment documents Preparing batches of invoices for data entry Data entering invoices for payment Processing backup reports after data entry Managing the weekly check run Recording all checks Preparing manual checks when required Maintaining listing of accounts receivable and payable Maintaining the general ledger and updated vendor files and file numbers Printing and distributing monthly financial reports Completing payroll functions in order to ensure that staff are paid in an accurate and timely manner Establishing and maintaining confidential casual employee file Processing TD1 forms Calculate salaries and benefits Verifying pay amounts, hours of work, deductions, etc Verifying coding and obtaining signatures Batching pay sheets for data entry Data entering payroll information Longing in and distributing pay checks Preparing and remitting source deductions and payroll tax Providing administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations Maintaining inventory files Monitoring and ordering office supplies Preparing purchase orders Preparing travel and accommodation warrants and travel advances for staff Reviewing and verifying travel claims Maintaining a filing system for all financial documents Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all financial and employee files Providing receptionist services Greeting and assisting visitors Answering phones Directing calls and responding to inquiries Collecting money and providing receipts Performing other related duties as required Job Requirements As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you must possess knowledge of office administration and book keeping procedures, accounts payable/receivable, maintaining general ledgers, and payroll functions and procedures.
The Accounts Receivable Accounting Clerk must also have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial and payroll information confidentiality concerning financial and employee files.
Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable Clerk include: Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in accounts payable/receivable Excellent interpersonal skills Team building skills Bookkeeping skills Analytical and problem solving skills Decision making skills Effective verbal and listening communications skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Very effective organizational skills and written communication skills Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting programs and the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc) and email at a highly proficient level Stress management and time management skills A degree is preferred but not required
Liaison for internal customer support.
Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet.

β’ Maintenance and distribution of route books, daily interface with drivers, assist with driver coverage of vacation and overflow freight β’ Involve Safety team as required by location β’ Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements β’ Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential β’ Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor Qualifications : β’ 2 years of general office experience required β’ 1 year of customer service experience required β’ High School diploma or equivalent required β’ Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required β’ AS400 experience preferred β’ Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job β’ Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
