The Crisis Responder I position will reside in the Regional Crisis Response (RCR) Agency and report directly to the Crisis Responder Supervisor. The Crisis Responder I serves on a team of other citywide community responders as part of the RCR Agency, which provides a consolidated and standardized mobile crisis response program operating throughout the jurisdictions served. Crisis Responders use evidence-based practice that promotes well-being through assessment, brief intervention, referral to services, and prevention. Crisis Responders incorporate knowledge of human behavior, sociology, psychiatry, psychology, and many other social science disciplines using advocacy, compassion and de-escalation and crisis intervention skills to support those with unmet needs in a culturally responsive manner. They work as a team, and collaborate with other local, regional, state and federal programs to identify gaps in existing resources for community members. The primary focus of work is crisis intervention, resource referral, and follow-up; this work is conducted in community settings such as health care organizations, businesses, homes, public spaces and at social service agencies.
Distinguishing Characteristics: The Crisis Responder I is an entry-level level position within the Crisis Responder job series. This classification is reserved for those with an associate license. An employee in the Crisis Responder I classification will move to the Crisis Responder II classification when they are able to demonstrate that they have an independent clinical practice license from the Washington State Department of Health.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, human development or other related field.

Clear rights-of-ways and check creek crossings. Clear rights-of-ways for access to wastewater mains for maintenance or repairs. Perform creek crossing inspections and cleaning of creek crossings as needed. Assist in leading a crew, fill in during the absence of the immediate supervisor and assist in the oversight and training of less experienced employees.
- Provide Emergency Response On-Call: Participate in after-hours on-call duty requiring working after normal hours and during holidays to resolve emergency situations to include, assisting in running heavy equipment to dislodge blockages in sewer pipes.
- Support Inclement Weather Operations: Work outside of regular schedule, throughout inclement weather conditions (i.e., snow and ice) by operating sanders, loaders, snowplows, and other specific equipment necessary to clear and maintain roads and walkways. Mix sand and salt for ice removal and treat bridges and roads as necessary. Wash brine and salt off equipment after use.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Over two (2) years of experience in a public works, utility, or construction field.
- Confined Space Certification, Trenching and Shoring Certification, Competent Person Safety Certification, and Traffic Control training within six (6) months of employment.
- FEMA ICS 100, 552, and 700 within three (3) months of employment.
- Valid South Carolina Class B CDL at hire, or the equivalent CDL from their state of residence.
- Valid South Carolina Class A Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) within three (3) weeks of hire, or the equivalent CLP from their state of residence.

- Perform General Construction and Infrastructure Repair: Assist in leading a crew, serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the immediate lead, and support the training and development of less experienced employees. Utilize a variety of construction methods and tools to complete in-house projects that support the maintenance and enhancement of municipal infrastructure and facilities. - Provide Traffic Control: Evaluate jobsite and traffic pattern making note of possible safety issues that may arise. Put up signs, cones, barricades, and arrow-boards as necessary to route traffic safely around or away from jobsite.
- Support Inclement Weather Operations: Work outside of regular schedule, throughout inclement weather conditions (i.e., snow and ice) by operating salt spreaders, loaders, snowplows, and other specific equipment necessary to clear and maintain roads and walkways. Mix sand and salt for ice removal and treat bridges and roads as necessary. Wash brine and salt off equipment after use.
- Assist with Special Projects and Events: Assist with the set-up, tear down, and cleanup of permitted special and volunteer events. Assist with various City related projects, including the construction, installation, and tearing down of temporary structures, banners, tree lights, and decorations; operating small and large equipment, and tools; entering creeks or rivers to remove debris; and assisting the public as needed.

About the Role

* Quality Assurance / CQI Program Management: Prioritizes patient safety. Performs and documents daily and weekly QA activity for assigned equipment. Documents findings outside the range established by Physics. Notifies the Chief Therapist immediately of findings outside the normal range of operations. PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalency required. Must obtain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) within two (2) years of hire through the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide demonstrated progress toward achieving registry AND must obtain Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) within (1) year of hire through the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide demonstrated progress toward achieving registry.

5. Accurately reports Ejection Fraction by demonstrating proficiency in the assessment of Cardiac function, utilizing Left Ventricular Analysis program(s). Understands the disease processes that result in depressed Cardiac function such as: Coronary Artery Disease, Cardiomyopathy, Myocardial Infarction, Valvular disorders, etc.
6. Consistently assures that Angiographic and procedural data is properly archived for long-term storage. Verifies the presence of all components of procedure information in both hard copy and computerized formats.

2. Takes Call on a rotating basis.

Practices as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team responsible for the provision of medical nutrition therapy. Fosters continuity of the Nutrition Care Process across all phases of the continuum of care as recommended by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Performs nutrition assessment for patients identified to be at nutrition risk based on criteria outlined by the hospital and best practice standards. Calculates metabolic nutrient requirements according to the age and disease specific needs of patients. Performs nutrition focused physical exam to further evaluate risk of malnutrition as indicated. Develops a nutrition diagnosis as appropriate and consistent with the Nutrition Care Process. Creates and implements a nutrition intervention and care plan for all patients with a nutrition diagnosis. Qualifications:
Required Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in nutrition / dietetics. Completion of a supervised practice didactic program accredited by the Accreditation Counsel for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Required Minimum Certification:
Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist (RD, RDN) through the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) within 6 months of hire. Licensed Dietitian (LD) through Georgia licensing board obtained within 6 months of hire. AHA-BLS preferred.
Required Minimum Experience:
One to two years clinical experience highly preferred. Experience with electronic medical record charting systems and other software relative to foodservice systems required.
