Application Manager β Role Summary
The Application Manager is responsible for identifying and delivering winning solutions for ODU and our customers. This role quotes and secures custom connector and cable assembly projects, owning and driving the project from concept through design-win and into serial production while ensuring profitability and strong customer satisfaction. As the primary customer stakeholder representative, the Application Manager manages all project related communication between the customer and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the quotation process for custom connector and cable assembly projects, providing ROM and firm quotes that ensure profitable growth.
- Drive projects from initial concept through design-win and into series/serial production.
- Serve as the primary customer liaison, ensuring clear and timely communication between the customer and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Project Management, Product Development Engineering, Field Application Engineers, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Product Team Leaders throughout the full project and production process.
- Coordinate and communicate with other ODU subsidiaries to ensure alignment and successful execution for global projects.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to customers and internal stakeholders, steering projects toward optimal solutions.
- Manage project profitability by monitoring costs, margins, and risks; partner with Finance when necessary.
- Oversee change management, including documentation and communication of design and requirement updates.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and tools to enhance team efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Technical Field such as Engineering or similar, or equivalent education and work experience, required.
- 3-years experience in engineering, project management or technical sales required; experience with electromechanical components preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with project management software preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to navigate systems and technology required.

Reporting to the North America High Voltage Quality Manager, the Abbeville HV Quality Manager will lead corporate, local site, and regulatory quality activities and ensure HV Customer projects meet all requirements. The Quality Manager will ensure quality standards for raw materials, in-process products, and finished products are established and met. This position works closely with HV Project Management, facility leadership, as well as external agencies and resources. The Quality manager is viewed as the resident expert and communicates directly with both internal and external customers on behalf of the company.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review Customer specifications and other Quality documentation and monitor such documents to ensure they are accurate, complete, and reflect most up to date regulations.
- Manage the implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to meet HV Customer requirements.
- Analyze production processes, identify areas of opportunity, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Directly manage customer visits/audits and be the team leader for customer claims management and resolution including root cause investigation and verification of effectiveness of actions taken.
- Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production to manage HV customer project life cycle from project tender through delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and hands on support on Quality matters to Operations. Interpret applicable regulations, industry standards, and client specifications. Make conclusions, and issues technical reports of findings.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, counseling, and training to employees regarding quality.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects/activities/programs as a result of risk assessments.
- May liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards. Will liaise directly with the Prysmian High Voltage installation group.
- Understand the critical-to-process and critical-to-quality characteristics for HV products and their relationships.
- Participate in training on different manufacturing and field installation processes and methods.
- Interact with customers, sales, factory, and field employees to ensure product compliance and continuous improvement with them.
- Responsible for product quality issues, including customer complaints and feedback, production inspection procedures, final inspection, root cause analysis and corrective action management.
- Participate and/or lead field failure investigations on cable or cable systems.

Leidos is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to contribute to cutting-edge engineering efforts within our Undersea Systems Division (USD). This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions that support critical defense and national security missions at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC).

Job Summary
Vertiv is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team and focus on the design, development, and validation of Static Transfer Switch (STS) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) 3-phase power products. This position supports the EE section in its mission of performing electronic materials failure analysis and component evaluation. What You Will Do:
The position requires knowledge of the materials of electrical components, including ceramics and glasses, metal wire bonding, component staking, conformal coating, and solder.Β
The position requires the ability to work through each step of an analysis, from initial evaluation, photo-documentation, electrical test, destructive testing and writing a final report that substantiates any failure conclusions.Β Β
The position requires being able to determine the root cause of failures using the available laboratory equipment.Β Β This includes digital photo-documentation, various electrical component test equipment, Sono-scan, SEM-EDS, and various destructive techniques.

Required Qualifications
- 6+ months experience in any combination of the following areas: customer service, electrical or utility construction, -OR-technical certification (or higher) -OR- current military service, or prior military service with honorable discharge.

- Must have and maintain a valid driverβs license and remain eligible for DOT requirements.
