Salary range:
The compensation model varies depending upon the course delivery format. For a synchronous Live Online course, a reasonable estimate for this position is $1,500 - $4,500 total per course. For an asynchronous Fixed Date Online course, this position is paid $200 - $350 per enrolled student and a reasonable estimate ranges from $1,600 -$5,250 total per course. Instructor compensation is determined by course length, number of units, enrollment, budgetary considerations, and other factors.
Percent time:
Part-time by agreement on a course-by-course basis.
Anticipated start:
Some appointments may begin as early as the spring semester.

Position description
UC Berkeley Extension (UNEX), the continuing education branch of the University of California, Berkeley, has been building bridges between UC Berkeley and the public since 1891. UNEX serves the professional and continuing education goals of thousands of people each year and plays an essential part of the University mission to: extend the research and scholarship of UC Berkeley to a global community; increase access to higher education for non-traditional, online, and international students; and improve the workforce. UC Berkeley Extension is a part of the division under the leadership of the Dean of Extended Education that also includes Berkeley Summer Sessions, Berkeley Study Abroad, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

General Duties
The department seeks candidates who can support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy. Specific duties and expectations will vary depending on the method of instruction including: Synchronous Live Online (Zoom) or Asynchronous Online (Fixed Date).
- For synchronous instruction (live online courses), duties include but are not limited to: syllabus development; assignment development; lesson planning for class meetings; preparing and submitting required texts and course materials; reviewing and updating Canvas course site; and delivering lectures, presentations, and learning activities for all required hours of instruction.
- For asynchronous instruction (fixed date online courses), duties include but are not limited to: reviewing the syllabus and pre-populated online course content; learning and utilizing Canvas classroom management tools; and requesting any training needs from the Program Director or Department Director.
- For all instruction (regardless of course format) duties include but are not limited to: completing required trainings as mandated by the UC Presidential policies; responding to student questions and learning needs in a timely manner; grading student assignments and posting final student grades to the instructor portal in a timely manner; utilizing University-approved course support platforms including the Canvas Learning Management System, Zoom, Instructor Portal, Google Workspace, etc.; reviewing and following University and departmental policies, logistics, and other guidelines as published on the departmental Instructional Resource Site; and responding to other requests from the Program Director or Department Director in a timely manner.

Job Summary and QualificationsManages area operations, program and activities related to the service lines of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, diabetes education, disease management, health education, medical cardiology, and radiology nursing. Supports the hospital as Chair of the Policy and Procedure Committee, as well as being point person for the Community Needs Assessment. Executes the strategic vision to promote program growth and maintain financial viability of service lines, which meets the needs of the community. Serves as a viable leader, through interaction with key providers, caregivers and community/regional leaders, to promote services to targeted population(s). Promotes and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical operational, financial, and logistical processes. KEY PURPOSE:
As our Inventory Planner, you are responsible for inventory management and development of a DC replenishment plan that satisfies demand and optimizes service vs cost objectives as defined by leadership. Your primary role is to plan inventory across core and fashion workflows, manage related planning systems (when applicable) for your portion of the business, and minimize stock excess and obsolescence. Through these actions, you will help improve the overall quality and carrying cost of the inventory while still meeting demand needs and service requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create inventory plans and targets for different product workflows (Core, Fashion, & SMU) based on strategic direction and vision of Leadership.
- Reconcile and revise Purchase Requisition commitments as needed through production lead time.
- Manage/resolve stock-out occurrences and expedite products when needed given inventory position and outlook and report on associated costs.
- Create and analyze recommendations of seasonal and SMU bulk greige commitments with Business and Forecast teams.

Job Summary
The program assistant supports and assists with programs, facilities, services, and events within Parks and Community Services (PCS) and serves as a primary customer service agent.
This assignment is for a seasonal, ongoing, non-benefited on-call program assistant, to support year-round community building events including Lunar New Year, Dia de Los Muertos, Outdoor Summer Movie Series, Celebrate Kirkland July 4th Parade, Harvest Festival, and many other events hosted by PCS, plus the LED screen rental program. This position is anticipated to begin in February and be ongoing with hours varying, usually 15- 40 hours per week depending on need and is not to exceed 1040 hours per year. Most work will be done Monday-Friday at Kirkland City Hall, with occasional weekend or evening shifts primarily for events. The on-call program assistant must be available to work July 4 and the days immediately preceding and following the holiday.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, the capacity to prioritize tasks and work on a variety of projects with competing deadlines. SUMMARY:
The program assistant supports and assists with programs, facilities, services, and events within Parks and Community Services (PCS) and serves as a primary customer service agent.
This assignment is for a seasonal, temporary, non-benefited on-call program assistant, to support Kirkland's 4th of July Parade Celebrate Kirkland, hosted by PCS. This seasonal position is anticipated to begin in April and last through July or August, with up to 40 hours of work per week during that time. Most work will be done Monday-Friday at Kirkland City Hall, with occasional weekend or evening shifts. The on-call program assistant must be available to work July 4 and the days immediately preceding and following the holiday.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, the capacity to prioritize tasks and work on a variety of projects with competing deadlines. Candidates should have the ability to be adaptable to new situations, ideas, and challenges and must be able to take initiative and work proactively. Position Overview
The Senior Preconstruction Estimator will lead pursuits, initiate conversations with owners, act as the main point of contact with proposed clients and manage the Estimating group in certain functions. The Sr. Preconstruction Estimator will have daily involvement in the preconstruction phase of various projects by sourcing and reviewing potential opportunities, preparing budgetary estimates/schedules, and formulating work plans based on conceptual or schematic designs through construction documents. The Sr. Preconstruction Estimator helps develop project GMP by performing quantity take-off, soliciting subcontractor pricing as necessary, and/or applying historical cost data. The Sr. Preconstruction Estimator will be involved with both public and private clients.
Assigned Responsibilities
Client Development
- Promote the growth and development of Client and Designer relationships.
- Maintain positive working relationship with Client and Architect and/or Engineer contacts to facilitate successful project execution.
- Attend Client initiated meetings throughout the preconstruction phase of the project.
- Meet with owners, architects, and other industry related professionals to network and promote the interests of F.H. Paschen.
- Monitor and review potential opportunities via various solicitation websites.
- Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates and detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction) including quantity take-offs.

- Participate with the preconstruction team during the strategy meetings on the approach to the project or estimate.

In this role, We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and manage inventory levels at a manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, minimizing excess or obsolete inventory, and coordinating effectively with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (Work-In-Progress), and finished goods to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Set up process for cycle counts and coordinate with teams for conducting regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in inventory handling and storage.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, WISE) for accurate tracking and reporting
- Analyze inventory trends and generate reports on inventory metrics such as turnover rates, NPI, slow-moving stock, and obsolescence.
- Lead and train warehouse and inventory control staff.
- Collaborate with finance for monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits and reporting.
