The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to serve as the Signature Assurance and Verification Lead.
This role is pivotal in leading the Signature Assessment and Verification (SAV) team for a new Air Dominance Program in St. Louis, Missouri.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling stealth performance of advanced platforms through effective manufacturing and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the SAV team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the EM QA multi-discipline team to uphold quality assurance standards.
Process Development: Develop and validate processes utilizing diagnostic equipment for signature verification.
Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct developmental testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for signature verification methods.
Quality Assurance Criteria: Define and establish QA test criteria for all signature verification tests.
Quality Review: Review work instructions for quality assurance and witness part conformance to standards.
Testing Oversight: Oversee QA testing and acceptance processes, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Data Management: Track signature verification tests and maintain comprehensive signature data test records.
System Level Correlation: Correlate and assess verification at the system level to validate lower system level tests.
Non-Conformance Management: Provide review dispositions for non-conformances and analyze trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
System Development: Assist in the development of a signature assessment system, including software and methodologies.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

This role is critical for the development of tools and processes required to sustain stealth platform signature performance on advanced Air Dominance platforms.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a team of SLO engineers, ensuring the effective execution of SLO plans while maximizing operational availability and minimizing life cycle costs.
Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview: Lead the development of the Signature Integrity Program to support manufacturing and sustainment of the stealth characteristics of an advanced Air Dominance platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the program’s signature integrity vision.
Integrate Signature Integrity Software, Supportable LO (SLO), and Signature Assurance and Verification (SAV) teams with manufacturing, QA, Product Support, M&P, and System Engineering.
Oversee the development of supportability technology, maintenance and QA processes, and signature assessment methods.

Essential Functions:
This Program Cost Control Analyst position will, under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
The Program Cost Control Analyst will have experience with Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts and be able to apply them to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will be responsible for leading and training other analysts if full level 1 Earned Value contracts.
Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include:
Establishing Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled
Assessing and maintaining of objective performance criteria – developing, maintaining, analyzing and justification of estimates to complete
Supporting internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis and budgeting baseline
Maintaining a solid and accurate cost and schedule integration with business partners and program teams
Analyzing funding, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports - Preparing government cost performance reports and preparation and/or review of Performance measurement variance analysis
Additional responsibilities will include:
Perform analysis & prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes. Provide internal reporting requirements to include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools. This position will interface with Business Managers and support booking rate files and profitability updates. Good leadership skills & the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.

Salary ranges will be dependent upon where the position is based and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position, as this posting may include multiple locations and provide a variety of salary ranges per location. Academic appointment (Tenure, or Academic Research Track) will be commensurate with candidate's qualifications and experience. Neuro-oncologist would practice at main campus in Urbana with 80% clinical duties at Cancer Institute/Hospital and 20% research at the U of I (protected research time dependent on interest and experience). Candidate will be expected to teach undergraduates, medical students, residents, fellows, graduate students, and post-doctoral candidates.
Neuro-oncologist would work with a team of 6 neurosurgeons, 7 hematology/oncology physicians, 4 radiation oncologists, and several APPs. For clinical work, the Neuro-oncologist will have two collaborating/mentoring physician providers with one in each department: hematology/oncology and neurosurgery.
Neuro-oncologist would evaluate patients and prescribe chemotherapy and biological therapy to patients with primary brain tumors and would assist hematology/oncology physicians with management of patients receiving intrathecal chemotherapy with Ommaya reservoir. Neuro-oncologist would have clinic with appropriate staffing and access to Infusion Rooms and would practice in a multi-disciplinary setting with biweekly Brain Tumor Case Conference and a strong support from all hospital services. Neuro-oncologist would become a member of our future multi-disciplinary neuro-oncology clinic and would have clinical collaboration and back up coverage with hematology/oncology physicians.
Exceptional research opportunities and brain applications for imaging with new 7 Tesla MRI. The U of I has a strong focus on neuroscience with a variety of research projects: from cognitive neuroscience study of human learning and memory to several imaging projects at Biomedical Imaging Center at Beckman Institute. This includes MRI and molecular imaging (PET/SPECT/CT) labs that can support imaging research for humans, animals, and materials. The candidate would be able conduct basic science research, or translational research with the U of I faculty. Our neurosurgeons perform awake craniotomies for resection of brain tumor, stealth neuro-navigation, operative microscopy, intra-operative ultrasound, neuro-monitoring and fluorescence guided glioma resections. Spinal fusion is available for patients with metastatic disease to the spine. Radiation Oncology has state-of-the-art technology with Varian True Beam linear accelerator with the most sophisticated beam shaper (micro-MLCs) offering a very conformal delivery of radiation therapy to brain tumors with avoidance of the normal brain tissue. The radiation oncology/neurosurgery team routinely performs cone based stereotactic radiosurgery for patients with trigeminal neuralgia and base of skull tumors
