Position Title: Developer, RTW Soft Wovens

Client Overview:

Position Summary: The Developer, RTW Soft Wovens, reports directly to the Director of Product Development and plays a key role in supporting seasonal product execution for the Soft Wovens category. This role will require someone that has strong knowledge of soft dressing development and can work with the teams and factories to properly cost engineer the product to meet price and margin targets. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AT A DESIGNER OR LUXURY BRAND.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate Seasonal development requirement.

• Work with Design and Material teams to ensure the development needs of the product can be properly executed to meet the design creative and commercial needs.

• Initiate proto flows and work cross functionally with technical and or Atelier teams to initiate all proper tech packs to factories within the required timelines.

• Work along with design to ensure proper BOM implementation is executed when preparing proto and sample tech packs. Work cross functionally with material trim, technical teams to ensure all product details are properly launched not only to meet the timelines but also key pricing targets.

Role: Footwear Developer

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 8-Month Contract

We are seeking a Lead Materials Developer – Footwear to join the North America Express Lane Footwear Product Creation Team. This role will play a key part in driving material innovation and product excellence across footwear categories including Lifestyle, Jordan, Running, and Kids.

This is a highly collaborative role focused on developing, sourcing, and implementing materials that meet design intent, performance, cost, and sustainability goals in an accelerated product creation environment.

Portfolio Required:

Candidates must provide a portfolio showcasing a variety of materials work and examples of translating design concepts into manufacturable products suitable for mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the materials development process from concept to commercialization ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
• Develop material palettes, tools, and data to support effective material selection across product categories.
• Collaborate with design, product development, product management, and operations teams to deliver product excellence.
• Work closely with material vendors and suppliers to source materials and resolve technical issues.
• Drive initiatives related to material strategy, sustainability, and innovation.
• Monitor market trends, new technologies, and consumer preferences.
• Mentor team members and support technical knowledge sharing.
• Ensure materials are ready for commercialization and large-scale manufacturing.

Must Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of footwear materials development experience
• Experience working within tight timelines and fast-paced product creation environments
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills
• Ability to translate design concepts into scalable, manufacturable materials solutions
• Portfolio demonstrating variety of materials and production-ready work

Nice to Have

• Experience working across multiple footwear categories or organizations
• Knowledge of material supplier relationships and sourcing processes
• Experience working with a wide range of materials such as leathers, synthetics, textiles, fibers, and trims

Key Responsibilities

• Develop migration tools, validation tools, and custom utilities for ENOVIA/3DExperience platform.
• Participate in migration rehearsals, execution, and reconciliation activities.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for migration issues and implement effective solutions.
• Track, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues raised during migration cycles.
• Work on ENOVIA customization including triggers, policies, workflows, UI modifications, and data model changes.
• Develop and support JPOs, MQL scripts, TCL programs, and platform extensions.
• Provide customer support for day‑to‑day issues, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end PLM integration.
• Ensure adherence to PLM best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Enovia V6 / 3DExperience platform

• Solid experience in data migration, including ETL workflows, load validation, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of ENOVIA objects, attributes, policies, lifecycles, access rules, and configurations.

• Knowledge of 3DExperience platform architecture
• Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and integrations
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $97000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $147000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
