Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and directing all project activities from early planning through final completion, encompassing both preconstruction and construction phases. This individual supports design development, budgeting, bidding, procurement, and constructability efforts during preconstruction, and transitions to ensuring project execution, subcontractor coordination, financial tracking, schedule management, and project closeout during construction. Major Duties/Responsibilities:

- Create separate PO’s for sales orders and stock items.

- Select the best vendor for each purchase, unless a specific manufacturer is required. (‘best vendor’ is defined by price, availability, quality, etc.)
- Ensure material surplus was checked prior to placing PO.
- Ensure receipt of confirmation from vendor on each PO.
- Attach confirmation to each PO in ERD system.
- Inform salesperson if there are any discrepancies with PO (quantity, price, lead times).
- Attach any certificates to PO.
- Assist with min/ max stock levels.
- Assist with stock purchases for raw goods.
Quotes
Prepare quotes for Sales team members and/ or for required stock parts:
- Source and evaluate multiple quotes for best price, quality, reliability, and lead times.
Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
Complete an RMA on materials that need to be returned to the vendor:

- Completion of the paperwork.
- Ensure delivery to our Expeditor for further processing.
Documentation:
- Review the MSDS Book regularly to ensure it is up-to-date and includes MSDS sheets on all products and materials.
- Collect RoHs, Reach, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, PFAS and TSCA documentation from vendors.
Sourcing and Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors, both new and current.
- Research and evaluate potential vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery times.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to obtain the best possible value for the company.
- Create and maintain a vendor rating program, including defining key performance indicators to improve the company’s procurement efficiency and vendor relationships.
Miscellaneous Duties:
- Assist with receiving POs for direct shipments and stage in ERP System.
- Assist with attaching spec sheets and pictures of parts.
- Cover other purchasing responsibilities as needed.

Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for the daily operation of a job site, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervises all direct labor positions on the assigned project. Manages and oversees any contracted work on the site to ensure successful project completion.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction, based on knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods.
• Interacts with the Project Manager to determine the project schedule; develops and utilizes "look ahead" schedules to assess progress and spot upcoming issues.
• Coordinates the pre-construction meeting with the Project Manager prior to mobilization.
• Directs procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
• Ensures all parties involved with the project are informed of construction issues and progress: (1) meets with and directs supervisory personnel engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays; (2) meets regularly with craft personnel to update them on construction issues and to gather input for solutions; (3) meets with subcontractors prior to the sub's mobilization to review scope of work and schedule; also, advises subs prior to each phase of work on schedule and phasing requirements; and (4) meets regularly with clients to update them on the project's progress.

• Manages the project based on progress reports, materials used, and costs and adjusts work schedules accordingly.
• Works with the Manager of Craft Resources to move personnel from project to project, minimizing hiring and layoffs; is responsible for crew mixes and work assignments to manage labor costs; may terminate company craft personnel not performing according to company policies, procedures, or other job requirements.

- Implement spend analytics and reporting frameworks to improve procurement visibility, support strategic decision making, and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Support capital investment initiatives through disciplined procurement planning, vendor selection, and contract management.
- Identify opportunities to leverage enterprise scale, consolidate suppliers, standardize purchasing practices, and strengthen supply chain resilience across business units.
- Develop and lead a high-performing procurement and supply management team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure procurement policies, governance, and contracting practices meet corporate compliance standards and support operational transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain leadership experience, preferably within cement, mining, aggregates, heavy manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated experience leading category management and strategic sourcing programs in complex industrial environments.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience managing large supplier contracts.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable cost savings and operational improvements.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, plant maintenance, and capital project procurement.
- Strong experience with SAP procurement or materials management modules.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and procurement-related internal controls within a publicly traded company environment.
- Strong analytical, financial, and supplier management capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within the cement, aggregates, mining, or construction materials industry.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment procurement, energy sourcing, and MRO supply chains.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing organizations.

Pay range and compensation package
This position is based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Technology, Procurement, and Strategic Projects.

We are seeking a motivated, experienced On-Field Assistant Project Manager to work with our Project Management Team. This is a Full-Time On-site position in the Providence/West Warwick, RI Area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Project Manager in estimating, and bidding potential projects
- Assist in maintaining project schedules across multiple projects
- Preparing contracts, submittals, potential change orders, and AIA requisitions
- Communicating with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and architects
- Creating purchase orders for vendor material purchases
- Procuring, and ensuring validity of certificates of insurance, and W9s from subcontractors
- Coordinating weekly project meetings with key stakeholders
- Preparing weekly meeting minutes for Project Manager review
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
- Management of Jobs within ProCore
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the field
- A bachelors from an accredited College or University a plus, but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, or ProCore
- Familiarity with AIA contract, and requisition templates
- Ability to read architectural plans, and specifications
- Construction project accounting experience a plus
- Superior communications skills both digitally, and in person
- High attention to detail
