Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Project Manager specializing in mission-critical projects, located in Muskogee, OK. Seeking motivated Project Managers/Construction Managers (PM/CM) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering to join our team at a VA Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi. Candidates will act as Design and Construction Managers reporting to a Program Manager as well as collaborate and assist VA client staff to provide data, generate reports, as a representative for the client on major healthcare construction projects.

Role Summary

The Sr Mechanical Superintendent leads field execution of mechanical scope on mission-critical data center projects. This role owns day-to-day onsite leadership for mechanical activities: safety, subcontractor coordination, installation quality, schedule adherence, testing readiness, and turnover support. The Mechanical Superintendent ensures systems are installed correctly, documented properly, and turned over in a manner that supports successful startup, commissioning, and operations.

This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for a leader who can drive production, coordinate seamlessly with electrical and CSA teams, and maintain clean build discipline in critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Field Leadership (Primary)

We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in metal structures, frame design, pipes and fabrication to support the development of power and cooling infrastructure for data centers. This role is critical in designing robust mechanical systems that house and support electrical and thermal management equipment, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

What will you do?

• Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.

• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for chilled water and glycol-based systems.

• Understanding of installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in large-scale mechanical infrastructure.

• Design and develop mechanical frames, enclosures, and support structures for data center power and cooling products (UPS systems, battery racks, CRAC units, containment systems, LVS, MVS).
