Job Duties/requirements-
Supervise and run multiple job sites across a designated work area. Our work area opportunities currently range from South Colorado Springs to Central Wyoming.
Inspect and supervise job sites and work in progress to ensure completed work meets quality control, job specs, schedules, and OSHA safety standards.
Be able to multitask and manage multiple job sites at one time.
Manage Subcontract crews
Manage in-house crews/employees
Redline plans/blueprints
Quality Control/Punch outs
Create punchlists for inspections and Quality assurance.
Manage company purchased materials and equipment
Must have-Knowledge of new construction residential framing

The Framing Manager is responsible for the supervision of, and coordination with, independent subcontract framing crews working on 84 Lumber projects. This position is responsible for training, supervising and directing the work of framing installation crews, developing labor cost budgeting, maintaining production or installation records for use in supervision or control, planning framing installation work, apportioning the work among the framing crews, controlling the flow and distribution of materials or merchandise and supplies, monitoring or implementing contract compliance, providing for the safety and security of the framing crews and addressing and adjusting common inquiries and/or complaints from customers.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the installation of wood component systems, doors and windows, siding (wood and cement), shingles, insulation, drywall, and trim
- Recruiting independent subcontractors holding the proper licenses and insurance
- Labor cost budgeting
- Development of job specific scopes of work including schedule

SUMMARY
As a Mechanic (Class B), this position is responsible for repairing and maintaining company-owned equipment. The Mechanic is accountable for diagnosing issues and making necessary adjustments, repairs, or overhauls on various heavy machinery used in heavy civil, railroad, and marine construction.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and schedule regular maintenance for industrial machines and equipment. Maintain accurate equipment service records.
- Conduct planned maintenance by examining parts for damage or excessive use, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts, cleaning, lubricating, assembling, and testing equipment to ensure operational efficiency. May install batteries and windows on specific equipment.

- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Wood framing experience (preferred)

Miller's Sons Contracting is "Striving to be the best wood framing and structural steel subcontractor you've ever worked with!" For many general contractors, developers, and trade partners, the company is doing well living this goal.

There are several market segments MSC serves: multifamily, commercial, custom steel fabrication/install, and what we call special projects (which have a lot of variation, from seismic retrofits and structural remodels, to radiused mass timber tenant improvements).
We don't do piece-workers. Everyone on the team is on the team. Our current average employee tenure of all employees (including our field team) is a little over 3.5 years, which is excellent considering the rapid growth the company has been experiencing!
A majority of our projects are within a 60 minute drive of our office, but we serve Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Vancouver, Washington Area for a Project Manager and/or Estimator.
Qualifications
- Good with numbers
- Wood framing and/or steel fabrication/install experience a plus
- Competent in coordinating materials, personnel, and equipment effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with construction industry safety standards and regulations is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
