TL;DR - Why This Role Matters

Scribe is at a pivotal point in its growth, and we’re hiring a Director of Finance to help define how the company scales from here. This role will own company-wide planning, forecasting, and play a central role in shaping how we invest, prioritize, and grow as the business doubles in size. You’ll partner closely with our GTM teams to translate growth ambitions into clear financial tradeoffs and outcomes. This role is designed for someone who wants real ownership, real judgment, and the opportunity to build the financial operating rhythm for the next phase of a high-growth B2B SaaS company.


About the Role

This role sits at the center of how Scribe plans, invests, and scales. As Director of Finance, you’ll own much of the company’s financial planning and analysis muscle, ensuring the business is making clear, disciplined decisions as we rapidly scale.


You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of planning — from building the annual operating plan and forecasts to ensuring they remain accurate over time. This means holding teams accountable to performance, driving re‑forecasting when reality diverges from plan, and helping leadership understand the tradeoffs behind their choices. Finance is expected to be the arbiter of truth, and this role plays a central part in making sure the organization is operating from a single, trusted financial view.


This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role. You’ll work closely with leaders across GTM, Accounting, and Operations to translate strategy into execution, surface risks and opportunities, and force clarity when alignment stalls. While the role does not start with a large team, it carries broad influence, visibility, and responsibility — and offers the opportunity to shape how finance operates as the company scales.


In your first 3–12 months at Scribe, you will:

  • Drive the planning process, including the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, budgets, and long‑range planning, and hold teams accountable when performance diverges from plan


  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial models to support strategic decision‑making, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives


  • Identify and apply opportunities for AI and automation across finance to improve forecasting accuracy, decision speed, and how insights are delivered to the business


  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate financial insight into action by surfacing tradeoffs, recommending paths forward, and pushing decisions to be made when ambiguity or misalignment persists


  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps on revenue forecasting, capacity planning, and unit economics to ensure GTM plans are grounded in financial reality


  • Enhance existing financial processes and systems to streamline operations and improve data accuracy, fostering a culture of accountability and performance; implementing planning tools, systems, and processes as scale demands

Compensation

We use trusted market data and a tiered location system to ensure competitive, equitable pay. The range below reflects this; your specific offer will depend on experience, pay parity, and location.


The starting salary range for this role is $220,000 - 260,000 base + equity.

The Manager of Menu Strategy & Category Management plays a key role in advancing 7 Brew’s mission to cultivate kindness by creating a positive experience. This position leads the development and execution of menu & category strategies to fuel brand growth, increase guest satisfaction, and enable operational excellence.


As the leader of the Category Management function within the greater Innovation & Category Management group, the Manager brings category strategy and menu planning to life in service to 7 Brew’s growth objectives.

Strategic Category & Menu Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies that meet business goals and enhance guest and Brewista experiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure alignment with brand vision and operational capabilities.
  • Assess emerging category opportunities in beverages, flavors, ingredients, and consumer experiences to inform the innovation pipeline.
  • Support the evaluation and optimization of product performance across the full menu lifecycle, including launches, limited-time offers (LTOs), and ongoing items.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain to assess category mix, menu complexity, and profitability.
  • Develop pricing strategy and product tiering to ensure 7 Brew continues to lead in menu development and product differentiation.
  • Manage menu features & rollout schedule in coordination with all current and future vehicles.
  • Stand- and Field- touchpoints to ensure menu execution matches category priority and strategic vision.
  • Develop new menu touchpoints that tell 7 Brew’s category and menu stories to current and future guests
  • Owns Nutrition Management tool, ensuring consumer communication clarity in keeping with best practices and 7 Brew brand standards.


Market & Consumer Insights Integration

  • Partner with 7 Brew’s Insights team to translate data, trends, and guest feedback into actionable category strategies.
  • Conduct competitive and trend analyses to assess whitespace opportunities.
  • Support and assist innovation development in service to category growth plans.


Culture & Capability Building

  • Model 7 Brew’s values of positivity, collaboration, and curiosity in every project.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of experimentation—testing fast, learning fast, and iterating based on data and feedback.
  • Participate in developing best practices, toolkits, and documentation that will form the foundation of a scaled Category Management organization.


MUST-HAVE INGREDIENTS...

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in category management, menu strategy, marketing, or operations within food & beverage, CPG, or QSR environments.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects from ideation through commercialization.
  • Ability to lead and grow a team.

Job Summary:


The Paid Search Strategist is responsible for managing paid search campaigns from top to

bottom, including but not limited to paid search campaign set-up, budget management, setting

and adhering to KPIs, optimization, reporting and identifying actionable insights for our clients.


Duties/Responsibilities:

● Manage high volume paid search and YouTube campaigns for multiple clients.

● Maintain targeted campaign budgets, develop strong internal and external

relationships, and control campaign risks.

● Engage in all facets of clients’ SEM campaigns, including initial planning,

implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.

● Collaborate with the Media team to integrate paid search into overarching media

recommendations.

● Execute campaign launches: keyword and copy creation, analytics and tracking

implementation.

● Daily campaign management: Monitoring campaign performance against client goals,

including but not limited to search terms reports, negative keyword lists, keyword

quality score audits (landing page experience, ad copy relevancy, estimated CTR).

● Budget management: manage pacing, daily budgets, as well as overall platform

allocations.

● Bid management: Implement bid strategies and optimization efforts at the campaign, ad

group and keyword levels.

● Identify and recommend opportunities in related channels outside of search (YouTube,

Gmail, GDN, etc.).

● Manage platform tools to effectively achieve the highest ROAS/ROI across the major

search engines (Google, Bing, Amazon, YouTube, etc.) as well as be a champion for

wider Google advertising where appropriate.

● Develop campaign copy/creative, text-based titles and descriptions; establish keyword

creations and mapping to campaign goals.

● Must be able to minimize CPC by increasing your quality index.

● Generate performance reports and conduct campaign audits.

● Analyze data to develop actionable insights that can be measured and reported.

● Develop performance metrics to provide recommendations and continually revise

campaign strategy.

● Ensure that SEM campaigns satisfy clients’ goals. Strong time management and project

management skills with attention to details and focus on quality of results.

● Stay abreast of SEM industry trends and platform updates.

● Execute client invoicing and insertion orders.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Experience with managing CPA and CPC campaigns.

● Knowledge of Google Ads and YouTube.

● Client-facing presence and communication skills.

● Maintaining strong internal and external relationships, ensuring the SEM campaigns

meet client goals.

● Proficiency with gaining actionable insights from analytic tools.

● Knowledge of tagging is helpful but not required.

● Experience working on large-scale national accounts is a plus but not required.

● Experience working with the media buying software - Advantage, is a plus.

● Experience collaborating between channels (Social, Display, SEO, etc.)

● Google Ads Certifications required.

● Must be a self-starter.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
