Construction Manager β Co-location
Location: Denver or Dallas
About the Role
Crusoe is expanding hyperscale AI data center cloud infrastructure across the U.S. and internationally through strategic co-location partnerships. As our capacity continues to scale, we need experienced construction leaders who can represent Crusoeβs interests across multiple third-party development partners.
As a Construction Manager β Co-location, you will serve as an Ownerβs Representative overseeing co-location construction partners. Rather than managing a single job site, you will act as Crusoeβs on-the-ground authority β ensuring our partners deliver on schedule, quality, and contractual commitments.
This role requires a proactive, experienced construction professional who can βbird dogβ complex builds, identify schedule risk early, and step in when projects require leadership and accountability.
This positionβs travel requirements will vary, and at times require 50% travel.
What Youβll Be Working On
- Serve as Crusoeβs Ownerβs Representative across multiple co-location data center construction projects
- Monitor and enforce schedule adherence, identifying risks and mitigating delays
- Hold general co-location owners and contractors accountable for performance, sequencing, and execution
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and schedule alignment
- Provide executive-level reporting on risk, milestones, and partner performance
- Coordinate closely with internal real estate, operations, engineering, cloud deployment, and leadership teams
- Step into underperforming projects to realign contractors and reduce schedule drag
- Support expansion efforts by evaluating new co-location builds and readiness
What Youβll Bring to the Team
- 7+ years of construction management experience
- Strong background working for a General Contractor (GC) preferred
- Experience overseeing large-scale commercial or industrial builds
- Ability to identify schedule gaps, construction sequencing issues, and execution risk
- Strong presence and ability to lead with authority in high-stakes environments
- Experience interfacing directly with executive stakeholders and external partners
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%
Bonus Points

- Experience managing or influencing $100M+ project scopes

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $135,000 - $170,000 + Bonus.
Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation will be determined by experience, education, abilities, and internal equity.

About This Role:
Crusoe Energy is seeking a Portfolio Schedule Manager, Project Controls to provide leadership and governance across scheduling for large-scale, complex capital programs, including hyperscale data center projects. This role operates at the portfolio level, ensuring schedule integrity, consistency, and transparency across multiple concurrent projects.
The Portfolio Schedule Manager will establish and enforce scheduling standards, integrate execution schedules with cost insights, and deliver clear, actionable reporting to senior leadership and Crusoe clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned project controls professional who brings deep scheduling expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to connect schedule performance to broader program and financial outcomes.
What youβll be working on:
- Lead portfolio-level construction scheduling and project controls across multiple large infrastructure or hyperscale data center projects
- Establish, enforce, and continuously improve minimum scheduling standards, including schedule structure, coding, progress measurement, update cadence, and reporting
- Own portfolio schedule reporting, clearly communicating schedule health, forecasted milestones, critical path impacts, and overall delivery risk to leadership and clients
- Integrate schedule and cost insights to highlight schedule-driven cost risks, acceleration impacts, and downstream financial implications
- Oversee and support onsite and regional scheduling services teams, providing direction, quality assurance, escalation support, and alignment to portfolio standards
- Bridge execution schedules with baseline planning assumptions by partnering closely with Preconstruction to ensure continuity from planning through delivery
- Own the onboarding and transition of schedules from Preconstruction into active project delivery, ensuring alignment with general contractors and key vendors
- Collaborate with consultants, Preconstruction, Construction, general contractors, and OFE vendors to integrate contractor schedules into a unified, program-level schedule
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing timely, accurate schedule insights across the portfolio
What youβll bring to the team:
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
- 12+ years of experience in construction scheduling and project controls for large infrastructure, hyperscale data center, or complex capital programs
- Advanced scheduling expertise; Primavera P6 proficiency and/or advanced scheduling certifications strongly preferred
- Proven experience establishing and enforcing scheduling standards across multi-project portfolios
- Strong ability to assess schedule health, critical path impacts, and milestone risk at both project and portfolio levels
- Experience integrating schedule and cost data to inform leadership decisions
- Demonstrated leadership managing and guiding scheduling teams and external service providers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex schedule information clearly to senior stakeholders and clients

About the Role
The Analyst, Corporate Development and M&A will play a critical role in supporting Crusoeβs inorganic growth strategy across its core sectors: Power, Industrial Process and Manufacturing, Real Estate and Software. This highly visible position will be deeply involved in all phases of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), strategic investments, and structuring strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is a high-performing professional with robust financial expertise and transaction experience. The role will report directly to the SVP of Strategic Finance and Corporate Development.
This role will be required to be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
What Youβll Be Working On
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Divestitures
- Market Mapping and Origination: candidate will work across the organizationβs business units and functions in order to identify acquisition targets from a sector-first perspective. This includes creating and maintaining market maps, thematic research projects and direct outreach to targets.
- Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, strategic rationale development, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain complex financial models (Valuation and merger model, Accretion/Dilution analyses, and precedent transaction analyses) to evaluate potential acquisition
- Due Diligence: Coordinate and manage cross-functional due diligence teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, etc.), synthesizing key findings and developing risk mitigation strategies. Work closely with third-party providers.
- Market Analysis: Conduct industry and competitive landscape analysis within the Industrials, Energy, and Real Estate sectors to identify strategic market gaps and attractive investment opportunities.
- Prepare and present on transaction rationale to Executive Leadership team (possibly the Board of Directors)
Strategic Investments & Partnerships
- Sourcing and Evaluation: Evaluate strategic investment and partnership opportunities that align with the company's long-term growth objectives.
- Deal Structuring: Assist in the structuring and negotiation of terms for joint ventures, strategic alliances, and minority investments.
- Business Case Development: Create compelling investment memorandums and presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors, outlining strategic fit, financial implications, and execution plans.
General Corporate Development
- Pipeline Management: Help manage and maintain a robust pipeline of potential M&A and investment targets.
- Commercial-facing Activities: attend conferences and travel to various industry events in order to aid in origination and market intelligence
- Reporting: Prepare detailed analytical reports and presentations on key market trends, portfolio performance, and deal progress for internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal business unit leaders to assess strategic needs and integration plans.
What Youβll Bring to the Team
1-3+ years of experience in Investment Banking (Analyst or Associate level), Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory Services.
Direct experience working on M&A transactions taking a core role in structuring and modeling various scenarios and preparing transaction screening memos
Strong coverage experience or deep sector knowledge within Industrials, Energy, and/or Real Estate is highly preferred.
Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills, with an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex financial and strategic analysis into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior executives and external partners.
High degree of professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
A proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
