Position Overview

SEG is seeking a motivated, detail oriented Inside Sales Support Representative to assist in growing sales of custom UL508A/698 control and relay panel solutions. This role supports business development efforts by preparing accurate quotations, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and ensuring timely, customer-focused service. The ideal candidate brings strong technical aptitude and an organized, team-oriented approach.


Location

This position is based on-site at CES Loveland, Colorado facility and requires presence in the location five days per week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales growth through prompt evaluation of quotation opportunities and development of solutions that address specific customer needs using technical and electrical expertise.
  • Prepare quotations, perform project costing, and assist with project kick-off activities once orders are received.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to develop accurate and competitive quotes for custom control panel solutions.
  • Maintain working knowledge of UL508A/UL698 standards, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Drive follow-up on active opportunities with manufacturers’ representatives and sales partners by:
  • Obtaining proposal status and forecasting future orders, including value and timing.
  • Evaluating customer engagement and overall mindshare for CES products.
  • Providing regular feedback to management on pipeline health and opportunity progression.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and pipeline activity within the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering a plus or minimal of 3+ years of experience with UL508/698 control, relay panels.
  • Strong understanding of UL508A/UL698 standards and general industrial, automation control & relay panels construction preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using structured proposal and quotation processes; ability to maintain momentum and solve problems in imperfect or fast-paced environments.
  • Industrial Technology, Automation, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and control, relay panel layouts.

  • Maintain manufacturing inventory and work with vendors to procure new equipment and products for process integration.
  • Participate in process development by creating and implementing new procedures to improve process effectiveness and drive capabilities.
  • Manage and process customer requests through an internal ordering system.
  • Participate in Quality management system compliance, documentation, and Audit procedures.
  • Provide support to engineers in the research and development process, including assistance with information/data management and analysis of results.
  • Assist in data collection for a Design of Experiments (DOE), conduct those experiments independently, and collect, analyze, and report the results.
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the laboratory, collaborate with researchers when erroneous or unexpected results occur, and implement recommendations.
  • Identify and suggest improvements in manufacturing processes and lab procedures.
  • Inspect and perform routine maintenance on lab equipment, as necessary.
  • Document findings and communicate results in verbal and written form.

【Key Responsibilities】

CNC Engineering

  • Learn and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers
  • Develop CAM programs using software such as Mastercam, NX, or Powermill
  • Manufacture high-precision mold components
  • Work with EDM and wire-EDM machining processes
  • Perform precision measurements and quality control with CMM
  • Implement CNC automation and digital manufacturing platform


Mold Design & Manufacturing Integration

  • Participate in precision mold design
  • Support mold structure design, cooling systems, and gating systems
  • Work with machining teams to optimize manufacturability
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
  • Support mold assembly and troubleshooting


AI-Driven Manufacturing Development (Advanced Level)

  • Apply AI technologies to improve mold design and manufacturing
  • Develop intelligent machining optimization strategies
  • Support predictive maintenance systems
  • Participate in smart manufacturing and digital twin initiatives



【Qualifications】

We welcome candidates with strong interest in manufacturing engineering.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Strong interest in advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to learn CNC machining and mold manufacturing
  • Ability to work in a hands-on engineering environment.
  • Can join the training program in Taiwan and/or Japan for first few months.


Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with CNC machining or CAM software
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Experience in mechanical design
  • Knowledge of automation or manufacturing systems

No prior CNC machining experience is required. Training will be provided.
