Job Summary
This position will report to, and is responsible for working with, the PSEGLI Manager Capacity Markets & Policy to develop strategy, shape rules and advocate on behalf of PSEG Long Island Regulatory Markets and Transmission business in New York State. The RTO Policy and Strategy Manager - will represent PSEGLI on all LIPA matters and market interests in the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) as well as the New York Reliability Council (NYSRC) and various Transmission Owner Committees. - Familiarity with PJM, NEISO and NYISO Markets and/or equivalent experience in government/ public affairs, or regulatory policy
- In-depth knowledge of federal, regional and/or state energy regulatory policy
- Demonstrated business and policy acumen and ability to work and communicate effectively in a high-ambiguity and fast-changing environment
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to travel to attend meetings on and off Long Island as required

- Master’s Degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience
