The unpaid 8-week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in molecular diagnostics, specifically focusing on urinary tract infection (UTI) testing. Interns will be trained through a structured program that includes orientation, shadowing experienced technologists, and hands-on practice with laboratory techniques.
Interns may have the opportunity to apply for a NYS Restricted License in Molecular Diagnostics.
The Molecular Diagnostics Intern responsibilities include:
· Participate in an orientation program that includes laboratory tours, safety protocols, and administrative tasks.

· Training in accessioning samples.

- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
- 2 years experience Required
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
