What You'll Do
- Execute the development and qualification of a wide range of primary, secondary & tertiary packaging solutions that meet the needs for brand aesthetics, consumer use, manufacturing capability, quality, and cost.
- Understand and assist in the execution of the packaging development process from concept to counter
- Support the ideation, development, feasibility, and implementation of new and improved packages and processes including package design, stock packaging, prototype development, engineering specifications, minor custom mold qualification, functionality, and quality testing.
- Support operations cost savings and efficiency initiatives, and quality investigations towards continuous improvement.
- Support and execute against technical milestones for new development.
- Troubleshoot technical issues (supplier, plant, distribution, quality, etc.)
- Share and escalate roadblocks cross-functionally
- Create package component specifications, Bills of Materials, and Fill & Assembly specifications
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design on establishing feasibility for new packaging initiatives/concepts.
- Review and approve artwork for new/maintenance SKUs.
- Create decoration production standards to align with Design and Marketing expectations and ensure execution during the molding and decorating process constraints
- Assist in executing line trials to ensure package performance for manufacturing.
- Attend component and manufacturing startups as needed to ensure proper execution of design & function.
- Develop and manage partnerships with external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Support sustainability initiatives.
- Support leading implementation of new processes and systems cross-functionally.
- Research new or emerging packaging trends and technologies.
Who You Are

- 2-4 years of experience in Package Engineering or a related field
- Must have beauty/ personal care industry experience; start-up / founder led brand experience - a plus
- Proven track record of developing creative packaging solutions
- Location of Position: Los Angeles, California
- Must be a commutable distance to office in Los Angeles
- Hybrid Model Expectation: Must be able to work 3+ days a week in office
- Ability to travel 15% of the time or more
- Budgeted Salary Range: $80K-$100K

This role serves as the operational backbone supporting the experience team across e.l.f. Cosmetics, e.l.f. SKIN, and emerging brand verticals, ensuring our events run smoothly from strategy through execution.
This role is rooted in operational excellence, supporting the team from strategy to execution by owning the details, managing the logistics, tracking details, and removing busywork so the team can focus on creative and big-picture thinking. You wonβt be building the strategy (yet). Youβll be helping to bring it to life.

Responsibilities:
- Event Logistics Support
- Coordinate event travel bookings (flights, hotels, ground transportation) for team members and partners and managing travel communications across the team.
- Assist with vendor onboarding.
- In partnership with Associate Manager, manage shipment logistics, inventory list, and building detailed product planning.
- Help maintain run-of-shows, invite coordination, contact sheets, and face sheets that serve our events.
- Attend meetings and provide meeting notes with action items.
- Assist with development and maintenance of event and product look book.
- Assist with onsite event needs when applicable.
- Product, Event Inventory, and Storage Management
- Maintain accurate product inventory across event storage spaces, product rooms, and on-hand activation materials.
- Oversee product room organization, cleanliness, and accessibility. Ensure products are properly labeled, shelved, and rotated to reduce waste or expiration concerns.
- Coordinate replenishment needs in partnership with Experiential, Office Ops, and Warehouse teams.
- Manage event storage room operations, including tracking what assets live where and confirming timely returns post-activation.
- Support fulfillment and packing for event product orders, kits, and replenishments as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date storage and asset logs with detailed counts, movement tracking, and usage summaries.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to predict future demand.
- Work closely with Customer Supply Chain and Sales teams to understand market drivers, promotional impacts, and customer purchasing patterns
- Lead Pre-S&OP meetings to align on weekly consumption and shipment forecasts with cross functional teams.

- Operations experience in a cosmetics or CPG manufacturing company of relevant size and complexity; >$50 million revenue, high-SKU, national distribution, big box retail customer base, and rapidly changing product line / SKU mix.
- Cross-functional S&OP modeling and process leadership experience; inclusive of demand planning, supply planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and leading cross-functional business processes from a starting point of limited maturity and sophistication; experience managing cross-functional teams. Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature.
- Experience building driver-based forecasts for a large SKU mix with complex product lifecycles, including incrementality, cannibalization, and volume recapture.
- Bachelor's degree minimum, advance degree preferred
- Strong working knowledge of planning process within CPG, fashion, or seasonal products.
- High drive for results and willing to work in a demanding & rapid paced environment.

- Source, organize, and maintain user-generated content (UGC) for reposting and campaign use
- Assist with content ideation, asset organization, and light content creation as needed
- Flag recurring community questions, feedback, and insights to inform content and engagement strategy

- Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
- Must be available for the full internship period: June 17th - August 21st

- Actively engage with our audience on social media by liking, commenting and responding to messages

- Be curious to identify NEW content trends, opportunities and trends to social channels
- Pull weekly and monthly community insights and metrics for cross-functional tracking and reporting
- Provide weekly updates on trending conversations, comments and complaints happening on our social channels (or competitor channels)
- This position does include some routine responsibilities; the right candidate will be nimble and adaptive
- Dedicated experience in consumer communication across social (primarily Instagram and TikTok but could also include Youtube, Pinterest, + Twitch)
- Must have a strong interest in social media marketing and be an excellent written communicator with strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media emerging platforms
- Prior experience in growing and scaling a digital community is a huge plus
- Excellent multitasking, time-management skills
- You are culturally-aware and naturally curious-you know what other brands are doing and are always thinking "how can we do this better?"
- The ability to act fast and in real-time
- Have a strong passion for all things beauty

- Design, implement, and maintain foundational payroll processes, controls, and organizational infrastructure to support current and future-state operations.

- Strong foundation in business process management, including process mapping, standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven success leading system implementations, vendor evaluations, and supplier management projects.
- Experience working across multiple time zones and managing or collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data, compliance requirements, and multi-system integrations.
- Proficiency with payroll, finance, and HR systems such as ADP, SAP, BambooHR, or other enterprise HRIS platforms.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
- Advanced degree (Master's in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field).
- Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other recognized payroll credentials.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement certification.
- Understanding of payroll governance, audit, and control frameworks (SOX, COSO, ISO, or similar).
- Experience with Canadian, South American, and other regional payroll regulations.
- Advanced Excel/data analysis skills and experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.) or demonstrated project management experience.
- Experience designing and implementing shared service or center of excellence (COE) operating models.
- Knowledge of change management principles and experience leading organizational transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with HR transformation, digital workplace initiatives, and employee self-service technologies.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of payroll regulations, system architecture, and compliance requirements.
- Quality & Metrics Orientation: Data-driven approach to quality management with focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Process Excellence: Strong business process management capabilities with ability to design scalable, efficient workflows.
