JOB SUMMARY
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Provides support to the engineering and design staff by performing a variety of more complex or non-routine assignments during the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction, and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications.

Installs, monitors, and services equipment and systems at the company and the client sites.

Assists with the test and evaluation, checkout and certification tasks; performs validations/verifications of various electronic systems.

Reviews Engineering Change Proposals for equipment impacts.

Assists in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions.

Develops technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.

Supports systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise.

Establishes and maintains a filing system, databases, and logs as needed for tracking project status and inventory.

Assists in providing the on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.

Complies with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specification, and test procedures.

Provides technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements.

Serves as a senior technician and assists in the training of other technicians.

Supports engineers in the development of technical proposals and provides comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete assignments of moderate complexity that vary in nature and sequence.

RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Telemetry antennas and associated sub-systems.

Job duties include but are not limited to operations, maintenance and sustainment engineering support of telemetry tracking systems, data transmission, and network systems under general technical guidance.

Real-time support duties include establishing end-to-end connectivity for voice, video, and data communications.

Will monitor real-time missions for abnormalities and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Experience with RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and other electronics and communications test equipment.

Should possess a working knowledge of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).

Experience terminating and testing of coaxial, network and fiber optic cabling.

Should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and make decisions in pressure situations.

Will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in accordance with established procedures (Local Work Cards), operating procedures, tech manuals, and other official documentation.

Will create trouble tickets using Maximo database to track work performed as required by procedures.

Regular communication with the customers and counterparts through email, phone, virtual and in-person meetings.

Job Details As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the following: 1.

Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models to ensure accurate production of components.

Operating and maintaining CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.

3.

Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.

4.

Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.

5.

Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.

6.

Troubleshooting and repairing machines when necessary.

7.

Adhering to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

8.

Collaborating with a team of machinists and engineers to achieve production goals.

The role of Master Control Operator is responsible for operating the multi-channel and multi-brand control point for Sinclair Television Stations located in Chattanooga, TN.

Duties include, but are not limited to, Live event operations, graphics insertion, playlist manipulation, and monitoring on-air quality of the TV Station to ensure all content airs accurately and reflects the traffic and programming schedules.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Understand and follow standard operating procedures for various networks, including high profile live events and disaster recovery.

Modification and verification of playlists for current and future broadcast times.

Manipulate playlist for the different “join in progress” scenarios.

Consistently monitor on-air material and communicate any discrepancies to Managers.

Consistently ensure that playlist information and media content are accurate, which may include but is not limited to: SOM/EOM of segments Database Information Audio specifications Video specifications Secondary events (GPI,SCTE104 and Graphic Insertion) Content Closed Captioning Active Format Descriptor.

Ensure proper video routing.

Record, Ingest and Prepare content for playout.

Monitor equipment for performance / device failures.

Capture and document network processes such as timing of log elements, program run times and on air discrepancies.

Setup and review content prior to scheduled airtime.

Communicate effectively with Managers and Operators to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Understand and follow departmental policies.

Qualifications: 1 Year experience in Master Control Operations functions.

(A PLUS) Experience in Local TV Station Operations.

(A PLUS) Experience in Switching Live Local News and Sporting Events.

(A PLUS) Must have great attention to detail and ability to multitask, monitoring multiple playlists and video monitors simultaneously.

General understanding of industry regulations and standards for video, audio, captioning and loudness.

Understanding of broadcast technology such as switchers, server playout, automation systems, waveform monitors and rasterizers.

Ability to communicate effectively, work under stress and perform as part of a team.

Aptitude for operating electronic equipment and the capability to learn specialized applications.

Experience with Systems and Hardware for Content Ingest, Playout and Distribution.

Knowledge of Amagi CLOUDPORT Automation system.

(A PLUS) Available to work any shift in a 24/7 Operation as well as holidays and weekends.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
