Β Wellhart is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 72-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Michigan. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of cases including endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pain management, urology, vascular, and healthy pediatrics. This opportunity begins on 09/01/2025, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including 8-5 shifts and beeper call. The selected CRNA will work under a team model with supervising MDAs, providing high-quality anesthesia care for both outpatient (70%) and inpatient (30%) procedures. Proficiency in Epic EHR and Dragon dictation is required. There is potential for assignment extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

β€’ Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures

β€’ Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans

β€’ Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures

β€’ Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

β€’ Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and hospital policies

β€’ Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR and Dragon dictation

β€’ Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients' recovery

β€’ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

β€’ Perform nerve blocks as needed (preferred but not required)
