JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following six areas:Β

Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: You will confirm accuracy of product and work with colleagues to address discrepancies and damages. You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts to clarify and resolve issues. You will be manually unloading trucks and palletizing products. You will be operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on Material handling equipment.

Warehouse Returns: You will be operating material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse. You will be matching item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, checking in returned product and tagging it appropriate. You will be operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on Material handling equipment.

Shipping: You’ll be responsible for organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders on pallets. You’ll be loading trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment and stacking empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace as you go.

Please note, as an SC2 associate you may be moved into any of the above roles, or SC1 roles, as needed.

We can offer the following shift option:
You will work 5 am - 5 pm, Friday-Sunday, with voluntary overtime during the week. If hired, you will train on one of our core shifts (First Shift or Second Shift) until you are ready to be placed on the weekend shift.
Essential Functions of this position include:

* Prepare for Operation - Access job ticket information and set up the offset press machine for the correct substrate, ink, and plate specifications. Communicate job information and additional instructions to support staff to prepare for production. Ensure the machine is adequately stocked with supplies needed for each job.
* Operate Sheetfed Press - Operate assigned equipment within Company safety standards to finish printed products according to customer specifications. Continually monitor supply levels of raw materials and add as needed.
* Perform Quality Checks - Complete quality checklist(s) and perform visual quality checks of the product throughout the printing process to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Perform Maintenance - Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed during the job. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned equipment during shift.
* Perform Line Clearance - Clean assigned area by removing all products from the line, trash, boxes, and other supplies associated with a completed order.
* Troubleshoot.
* Attain and maintain proper ink and water balance.
* Keep an ongoing list of maintenance issues to be addressed during the next scheduled maintenance, one list for all crews.
* Direct crew to specific duties during scheduled maintenance.
* Check and set rollers, and change if necessary.
* Perform needed maintenance during any delay time.
* Monitor and maintain constant ink densities per customer specifications.
* Attend all Operators' meetings.
* Work with urgency, when the press is down, to maintain production requirements.

Required Qualifications

* Must have 3+ years of Lead Sheetfed Operator experience - packaging/printing field preferred.
* Experience with Heidelberg XL 106 6-color or K&B Rapida 106 7-color is desired, but other makes will also be considered.
* Must have an understanding of color, and the ability to pass a color test is required.
* Must have strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
* Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects.
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with overtime and holidays as required (OT paid over 40 hours per week).

* Machine repair and maintenance experience preferred

Job Summary The Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production of advanced pharmaceutical drug manufacturing activities within regulated GMP and ISO-classified cleanroom environments.

This role provides direct floor leadership to ensure compliant, efficient execution of production activities from line readiness through batch completion.

The Supervisor maintains an active presence on the floor to monitor aseptic behaviors, ensure SOPs/GDP adherence, and address non-compliant actions in real time.

Responsibilities include verifying in-process controls, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, overseeing changeovers and cleaning activities, and collaborating with Quality/Engineering to resolve issues, drive deviations investigations and CAPAs, and maintain audit ready operations.

The position is accountable for delivering safety, quality, OEE, and schedule adherence.

Job Description Shift/Hours: Mon-Friday 1st: 6:00am-2:30pm 2nd: 2:00pm-10:30pm 3rd: 10:00pm-6:30am Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end execution of the assigned ISO-classified cleanroom production line by verifying readiness (people, materials, documents, equipment), authorizing startup, supervising line operations, and ensuring accurate and timely batch documentation.

Serve as the line’s compliance leader, enforcing cleanroom discipline (gowning, behavior, material and personnel flow) and GDP practices.

Exercise authority to stop the line, escalate issues per procedure when controls are at risk, and correct any noncompliant behaviors in real time.

Perform and document all pre-run requirements, including line clearance procedures, environmental checks, tooling and parameter verification, material/label reconciliation, and verifying documentation is current, approved, and applicable to the process.

Maintain active presence on the floor to observe and ensure proper aseptic behaviors; provide timely coaching and corrective action; and stop work immediately when procedural drift is observed.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of production records, performing proactive page reviews and coordinating with QA to achieve accurate and timely closure of records.

Perform periodic in-process checks (functional and visual inspections) per MBR; quarantine nonconforming product promptly; and support on the floor triage and root cause assessment.

Coordinate structured changeovers and cleaning, including oversight of in-between batch cleaning activities.

Verify documentation quality and manage materials/logistics to maintain unidirectional flow and proper segregation.

Initiate deviations with objective evidence, perform impact assessments, support investigations/root cause analysis, and drive immediate corrective actions.

Escalate promptly in accordance with QCU authority.

Direct daily work and coach operator performance, qualifying employees to standard work, reinforcing retraining needs, and partnering with Training to ensure records remain current.

Champion safety and operational excellence by conducting Gembas, driving 6S and visual management standards, and leading Kaizen activities to reduce waste and improve OEE.

Act as primary contact for Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, ensuring structured shift handoffs and timely communication when issues arise.

Required Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

3 years of aseptic manufacturing experience in GMP and ISO-cleanroom environments.

2 years of previous leadership experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.

Strong working knowledge of GMP regulations, aseptic techniques, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, with the ability to execute work in compliance with SOPs, batch records, and technical documentation.

Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete GMP documentation and support investigations and escalate issues.

What You Will Do:

Our Pratt & Whitney Middletown, CT facility has several exciting opportunities for a Production Machinist available on 3rd shift.

3rd shift hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

In this role, you will setup and operate one machine tool or process equipment type and operate more than one unrelated machine tool or process equipment types within an assigned area to produce precision turbine engine parts. You will perform work where methods, procedures and processes are well developed and the required tooling, gaging and fixturing are provided.

  • Under the direction of leader/supervisor, work from verbal and written instructions, operation sheets, drawings and other pertinent information. Following established methods and procedures, use manual or numerically controlled machine tools such as milling, boring, grinding, turning, broaching and shaping machines to achieve the required dimensional specifications. Recognize indications of dull or damaged cutting tools and replace as needed.

  • Perform bench, assembly and surface finishing operations such as deburring, blending, trimming and fitting, using a variety of hand and power tools. Follow prescribed methods and procedures to perform drilling, riveting and bonding operations to assemble various details in producing a finished part. Operate part-marking equipment.

  • Use a variety of media, dry or liquid, to perform cleaning or part preparation and finishing operations. Operate tumbling, grit blast, shot peen, buffing and polishing equipment, wash machines and dip tanks for part surface conditioning. Apply masking as required. Perform applications of anti-gall and polymite coatings utilizing dry bake ovens to cure.

  • Utilize a variety of fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and part features. Operate OpCert and other computer–based systems to retrieve and store information and records.

  • Perform routine servicing throughout assigned area following specified procedures and written instructions, such as operators’ checklist, for upkeep and to assure equipment operates properly.

  • May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications within assigned area.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 months of machining experience
