Duties

During the course of their careers, Secret Service Police carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:

  • Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.

  • Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral.   • Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.

  • Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
