We are looking for a sharp Principal Air Quality Engineer/Scientist (Environmental Permitting and Compliance) to join our team in Northern CA. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week in the bay area. We currently have offices in Berkeley and San Francisco but may open a new office based on candidate location. Position Summary:

The Principal Air Quality Engineer/Scientist (Environmental Permitting and Compliance) performs professional engineering work, leading and executing the compliance and permitting functions in relation to Air Quality Regulations and Compliance. This candidate will be reviewing processes and equipment, analyzing permit-related technical and regulatory issues, and communicating those analyses within Yorke, the client organization, with government agencies and with the public at large. The work is challenging, broad in scope, and variable from project to project. The position involves effective communication, decision-making, and time management. The candidate performs other duties as required or assigned.

This is a Principal level position. Positions at this level are assigned to perform the more complex and sensitive duties within air quality consulting. The employee in this position will be assigned to develop business, write proposals, train and mentor other employees, and/or monitor work produced by other employees.

The candidate's experience and qualifications we are seeking include:

• 15-25+ years of work experience in the Air Quality and/or Environmental industry in an engineering role (preferably in a consulting environment);
• Experience in the environmental services industry focusing on leading Air Quality services:
• Process and equipment review;
• Air quality permitting under BAAQMD, SCAQMD, SJVAPCD and other Air Districts, including Title V Permitting;
• Annual Emissions Reporting;
• Air Dispersion Modeling;
• Air Quality Assessments including Data Analysis and Emission Inventories;

• Ability to manage and lead active team members on project teams towards project completion within project scope, budget and schedule and ensure quality work product and deliverables;

Boutique litigation law firm is seeking a full-time senior litigation associate to join a growing, exciting, and diverse litigation practice. Ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited law school and will have over 5 years of experience in general civil litigation, entertainment litigation, intellectual property law/litigation, employment litigation and/or personal injury. Work to prove-out durability and performance to technical targets. Report and communicate on lessons-learned during the development process. Devise innovative tools and methods to test cars, subsystems, and parts. Document problem reports for failures in the field. Analyze data logged on cars, to trace down root causes. The Electrical Design Contingent Engineer will support company projects by performing electrical design activities, collaborating cross‑functionally, and ensuring all design solutions meet performance, cost, manufacturing, and timeline targets. This role requires hands‑on involvement in design, prototyping, assembly trials, and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.

Conduct electrical design activities in support of company project requirements. Develop new or improved designs, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings, incorporating modern technologies, industry trends, manufacturability, environmental considerations, cost, and ease of assembly. Recommend optimized design solutions to solve problems or reduce cost while meeting performance and project targets. Perform engineering hand calculations where needed (e.g., beam bending, pressure drop). Understand and apply creepage and clearance methodologies for high‑voltage components. Design wire harnesses; experience with harness layout in assembly design is a plus. Perform tolerance stack‑up calculations to ensure proper assembly under all part variances. Collaborate with other departments to ensure on‑time delivery of practical and optimized electrical design solutions. Participate in assembly trials, manufacturing trials, and vendor visits as needed, including business travel to track/HRC or other locations. Act as a liaison between Project Management and the Design Group Lead, ensuring clear communication of project history, issues, priorities, and targets. The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large-scale hydro and dam projects. You will not only support and help grow the broader engineering team capabilities, but your particular focus will be on continuing the development of our hydropower capabilities and working with key staff in growing the business.

About You

Metrology Engineer

Summary:

 seeking a driven Process Control Engineer with expertise in a variety of Metrology tools. We are looking for someone who can support existing processes and develop new processes for new programs (30+ in flight) focusing on product quality and measurement repeatability. Collaboration is a must as you work closely with the Integration, Process Control, Facilities, Maintenance and Production teams on development of new processes, selection of new equipment/technology, standardization and problem resolution.

Objectives:

Total ownership of Atomica's metrology tools, including reflectometers, stylus profilers, optical CD, thin film stress, resistivity, etc.

Tool health, weekly SPC monitoring, and troubleshooting for process and tool issues

New equipment/technology selection, installation, and qualification

Drafting of Operating Instructions, Preventative Maintenance, and Equipment Control Plans for all metrology tools

Development of measurement techniques to characterize thin films, topography, optical critical dimensions, and other key features

Collaborate broadly to understand and anticipate the needs of Development and Production. Propose innovative solutions to current shortcomings and future problems.

Develop automated inspection routines

Integrate tool data streams into SPC system

Mentor and coach other Engineers and Technicians to teach best practices for quality control and measurement accuracy and repeatability

Perform GR&Rs

Perform materials analysis to assist in Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis investigations

Be an active member of the process control team to improve overall fab efficiency Capabilities:

BA/BS Degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience

Hands on experience troubleshooting equipment issues

Strong fundamentals in statistics, data analysis and demonstrated critical thinking skills

Ability to work in both a clean room environment and an office environment
