POSITION PURPOSE:

Work with the Plant Manager to direct and lead American Woodmark's production initiatives with the goal of establishing a world class manufacturing operation. Overall development and coordination of plant operations and production processes to optimize the use of all resources and equipment in meeting and/or exceeding established plant goals.

Experience

  • Must have a proven track record of cultivating and developing talent in an organizational setting.
  • Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience; wood working related preferred.

  • Must have experience in wood drying, machining, cabinet component manufacturing, material flows and inventory management; continuous improvement practices; and process analysis.
  • Must have Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Six Sigma experience a plus.

Skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Actively lead the organizational development efforts for the production area and support OD throughout the location/organization.
  • Coordinate communication between assigned departments and shifts and foster healthy Client/Provider relationships.
  • Improve equipment uptime, capability and reliability through the passionate facilitation of TPM initiatives and the AWC SEE (Strategic Equipment Excellence) program as well as all five phases of Six-Sigma improvement or the Defining, Measuring, Analyzing, Improving, and Controlling of equipment related problems.

Summary

Our client is seeking an execution‑driven creative professional who will play a key role within their growing team. They are a true do‑er, hands‑on in developing digital assets and bringing concepts to life with the clear intent of growing and strengthening the brand.

Essential Functions

  • Develop consistent design and brand creative across digital, social, content, experiential, print and in-store executions
  • Ability to lead compelling 360 campaigns and concepts
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and develop thoughtful solutions
  • Responsible for website updates and continuous content refresh
  • Manage and execute campaigns across channels/media to meet all deadlines
  • Self-manage to keep projects on schedule without supervision
  • Take direction from department leads across all projects
  • Ability to switch from ideation, development and execution seamlessly
  • Able to give direction to photographers, designers, directors, editors and vendors as it relates to brand creative output
  • Implement strategy to support product launches, key initiatives, and campaigns that align with brand marketing goals
  • Identify ongoing opportunities to elevate the level of creativity and collaboration
  • Remain informed of industry landscape and trends (current and emerging)
  • Ensure issues requiring attention are routed to the appropriate stakeholder(s) for resolution and execution


Qualifications

  • Proficiency with in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Impeccable eye for design composition, typography, photography and video treatment – with high level of detail
  • Able to work under pressure within deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of digital and social (ideation to execution)
  • Strong process orientation with high attention to detail
  • Proactive, strong team player and collaborator
  • Excellent time-management and proactive problem solving
  • Passionate about the creative process and being a part of bringing ideas to life
  • MS Office, web-based project management software
  • Understanding of 3D process a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Required Education and Experience

  • Liberal arts or ad school degree preferred (4 years)

Plaza de la Raza Child Development Services, Inc. operates a Head Start and Early Head Start program that provides comprehensive integrated services to children from birth to five years of age and is currently accepting bids for a Licensed Mental Health Consultant to provide support for the emotional, behavioral, and social development of children and families. Services to be provided from March 9, 2026 – June 30, 2026. Part-time hours to be negotiated.


Job Description

Scope of Work

β€’ Build collaborative relationships among staff, children, and parents to support mental wellness

β€’ Conduct monthly scheduled on-site center/classroom visits for consultations, training provided to parents and staff, direct classroom observations, or parent/staff consultations, interventions provided to children and families, and social-emotional activities.

β€’ Observe and assess children in the classroom setting and provide intervention when necessary

β€’ Conduct interviews with parents and teaching staff for holistic assessment

β€’ Document all consultations, observation and trainings on the appropriate forms

β€’ Provide anticipatory guidance on child development and behavior

β€’ Refer families to appropriate community resources

β€’ Promote healthy parent-child relationships and model effective behavior management

β€’ Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings and provide social-emotional support and service linkage.

β€’ Conduct the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) screening with appropriate interpretation and follow-up.

β€’ Support implementation of crisis intervention protocols as needed

β€’ Consult with staff regarding children exhibiting atypical behaviors or mental health concerns

β€’ Provide individualized coaching, consultation, and follow-up for staff

β€’ Provide and support staff training in collaboration with the Mental Health Coordinator

β€’ Collaborate and maintain communication with relevant staff and consultants

β€’ Promote culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices

β€’ Perform other related duties in compliance with Plaza’s policies and procedures as agreed.
