About the Role

We are looking for a Retail Store Manager to lead the Jones Road team in the opening and day-to-day operations for our brand new Seaport, Boston, MA location, coming soon. The ideal candidate is energetic and experienced in makeup artistry with a passion for clean, natural beauty to assist and educate customers while providing the highest level of customer experience. The retail store manager will manage front- and back-of-house store operations to create a best-in-class customer experience, train and mentor the store team of makeup artists, and consistently increase in-store sales performance.


Store Management

  • Sell and educate in-store to hit and exceed sales goals
  • Ensure a seamless client experience across all touch points
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative feedback and insights on a daily and weekly basis and share them with leadership

Qualifications

What you'll do

  • Welcome every guest, learn the occasion, and guide them to something perfect
  • Build beautiful gift sets, write notes, and wrap with care
  • Run fast, accurate transactions in Shopify POS, including pickups, and exchanges
  • Keep the floor fresh: restock, tidy, and help style displays to tell seasonal stories
  • Fulfill online orders with speed and accuracy, from pick and pack to handoff
  • Learn the stories behind our brands and share them with confidence
  • Own daily standards: opening and closing checklists, cleanliness, back-stock organization
  • Support in-store activations and last-minute gifting moments with calm, friendly energy
  • Contribute to sales goals through thoughtful add-ons, pairings, and email capture


What you'll bring

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in presentation and wrapping

About the Role: We are seeking a highly energetic, people-focused Sales Manager to lead our Shallotte location. This role is designed for a hands-on manager who thrives on training, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams. The primary focus is on leadership and accountability, not personal selling.



Responsibilities:



  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of 2-4 sales associates in Shallotte.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, team trainings, and product knowledge sessions.
  • Maintain high standards for clienteling, sales processes, and team engagement.
  • Hold team members accountable to key performance metrics and store standards.
  • Step in to assist with deal approvals and occasional closings when necessary.
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and motivating work environment.
  • Support the transition from an owner-managed model, building strong relationships with staff.


Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of retail sales management experience preferred (2-year minimum required).
  • Background in family-owned or multi-location independent retail stores.


Required Skills:



  • Strong leadership skills: an energetic “cheerleader” who motivates and uplifts the team.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback in a positive and supportive manner.
