About the Position
The Air District is currently accepting applications for the position of Hearing Board Member. This is an open recruitment for five (5) Hearing Board Member, volunteer position.

The Hearing Board is established by state law and consists of five members and their alternates - an attorney, a professional engineer, a member from the medical profession and two members of the public.

The Air District is currently recruiting for the following five (5) Hearing Board seats:

• Alternate member in the Medical category
• Principal member in the Professional Engineer category (Must have PE certification upon applying)

• Alternate member in the Professional Engineer category (Must have PE certification upon applying)
• Principle member in the Public category
• Alternate member in the Public category

Prominent Duties
The Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial body that rules on particular cases that affect only individual facilities. It is authorized to hear requests for variance relief, permit revocation, abatement orders, and appeals by permit applicants, or by interested third parties, concerning the issuance or denial of permits.

The applicants for the Hearing Board are evaluated based on their qualifications to serve as representatives for their profession, field of endeavor, or the community, as the case may be.

The Berkeley School of Education (BSE) at the University of California, seeks qualified temporary non-tenure track, part-time Facilitators or Co-Facilitators (Teacher - Special Programs or TSP) to provide support through the The National Board Resource Center (NBRC) at UC Berkeley for teachers seeking National Board Certification; a project of the Center for Research on Expanding Educational Opportunity (CREEO). The University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine (SOM) Department of Surgery is seeking a board certified or board eligible urologic surgeon with experience, interest or expertise in Genitourinary Reconstructive Urology to join the Department of Surgery. This position will be within the Division of Urology. This position is being recruited at an open rank, open track; salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The UNM Division of Urology currently consists of fellowship-trained and specialized urologists within the fields of oncology, pediatrics, robotics, and renal transplantation. Surgeons within the division provide full urologic care to a variety of benign and malignant conditions.

This position would work closely with the residency program. The UNM Division of Urology and Department of Surgery boast a robust infrastructure of services and resources to help achieve academic goals, and leadership opportunities are available.

UNM serves a large, medically complex population and is a consultative resource for the State of New Mexico and the Four Corners region of the Southwest United States.
