Summary:

Assists nursing staff by transcribing physician's orders during emergent situations. Continuously observes, documents, and reports the cardiac rhythm status in the units and/or on telemetry. Performs clerical duties ensuring accuracy of unit records. Serves as communication center for nursing unit. Performs other duties as assigned by Director, Clinical Manager and Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Observe cardiac monitors, document and analyze rhythm strips as required.

• Obtains needed supplies from SPD, Purchasing, Pharmacy, Lab and Linen as needed;

• Serves as communication center for the nursing unit by:
  • Answering telephones, initiating calls and relaying communications.
  • Answers telephones promptly and courteously and identifies self by name and title.

Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmias courses required within three (3) months of employment.
• Medical Terminology preferred.

Experience:

• One year experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Certification, Registrations, or Licenses:

• BLS issued through American Heart Association preferred.

Job Overview: The Press Operator is responsible for the printing of customers’ labels. The Press Operator will be required to maintain the press and printing equipment during the printing process, and their duties may include cleaning the press and all associated parts, changing tooling and gears, inking, lubricating, and maintaining stations, and completing all necessary paperwork and forms.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Operates press and printing equipment as directed by supervisor or cell leader (shift lead). Maintains accurate and timely production and quality records
• Monitors press output and visually inspects product for defects and quality issues
• Loads and unloads paper rolls, mount and shaft rolls, maintain correct ink levels, colors and chemistry. Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper registration and maintain strict quality performance

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of flexographic printing press experience

• Good customer service and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of professions and personalities

Position Objective: Run the line efficiently and safely with the maximum amount of production and a minimal amount of off-quality. Inspect the product for quality.
