Overview:
Looking for an entry level Clinic Assistant to join a team of professionals in providing excellent patient care in an Ophthalmology Clinic. - Otis Creatives Institute (OCI) programming, including required in-person support from August 14-23, 2026, for student leader training, student leader retreat, and the OCI Pre-Orientation Program.
- Creatives Institute Peer Mentor (CIPM) community programming: Black Creatives, Latinx Creatives, and Queer and Trans (QT+)
- Culture Fest and end-of-year celebrations
- Support planning and execution of lunches, vendor fairs, community check-ins, and student engagement activities.
2.2 Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean of Community Engagement and Belonging, including:
- Coordinating meetings
- Creating agendas and taking notes

- Completing payment requisitions for artists, speakers, and vendors

What You Will Do in This Role:
- Under the general supervision of the RT Supervisor or Team Leader, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician
- Your duties will include medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, obtaining and analyzing blood specimens, performing patient testing, operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, providing mechanical ventilation, maintaining artificial airways, assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, providing patient education, monitoring equipment and patient response to therapy
- Your additional responsibilities will include completing documentation of in-patient and departmental records, cleaning equipment, and maintaining safety and infection control practices.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program required
- Must hold a current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care

Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to all HIPAA privacy regulations and hospital policies.

Ensure the proper operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and evaluating new techniques.

Prepare and position patients for procedures, using immobilization devices and adjusting equipment controls to set proper exposure factors.

What Qualifications You'll Need
Must be a graduate of an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT R.T. (R) certification is required (or must be registry eligible and obtain ARRT within 12 months of hire date).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Ability to work cooperatively with all facility healthcare professionals and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Strong technical knowledge of radiography equipment, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging standards.
