Job Summary
We are building a modern, social-first Branded Studio from the ground up and are looking for a bold, entrepreneurial VP, Branded Studio to lead it.
This is a hands-on executive role for a proven creative leader who understands how to take a client brief and transform it into culturally relevant, high-impact social content. Manager – Art Direction, Brand Studio
As Manager - Art Direction, Brand Studio, you own the day-to-day design leadership and creative execution that brings Castelion's brand to life across campaigns, systems, and key touchpoints. You'll translate brand strategy set by senior leadership into practical, repeatable, high-quality design solutions that work across digital, print, recruiting, events, and built environments.
This is a hands-on role that blends making and leading. You will design, art direct, and build the infrastructure, including templates, libraries, playbooks, and workflows that enable high-quality, on-brand work at scale. You will collaborate closely with Marketing & Communications, Business Development and Capture, HR, and Engineering to turn complex technical and mission stories into clear, compelling visual narratives.
Responsibilities
Brand systems and visual identity
- Evolve and maintain Castelion's visual identity system (logo usage, color, typography, imagery, layout, motion guidelines) so it works across internal and external channels.
- Translate brand and visual principles into clear standards, toolkits, and documentation that non-designers can actually use.
- Build and maintain centralized component and asset libraries in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with naming conventions, versioning, and usage guidance.
Campaigns, launches, and flagship stories
- Lead art direction for integrated campaigns, product and capability launches, customer and investor narratives, recruiting initiatives, conferences, and major announcements.
- Drive cohesive creative across channels, including web and digital assets, social visuals, print collateral, video storyboards, event graphics and activations so everything feels unmistakably Castelion.
- Turn complex, often technical subject matter into intuitive visual hierarchies, diagrams, and stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Brand asset ecosystem and tools
- Design and maintain modular templates and reusable assets for presentations, one-pagers, briefs, case studies, recruiting collateral, event kits, and internal communications.
- Architect a navigable, well-organized asset library that speeds up delivery for Marketing, BD, and Recruiting.
- Continuously refine tools and templates based on adoption, feedback, and emerging needs.
Cross-functional creative partnership
- Partner with Marketing & Communications on brand campaigns, brand strategy, content, social, and executive communications.
- Partner with Business Development and Capture on pursuit storytelling, proposal design, customer demos, and conference presence.
- Partner with HR on candidate-facing materials, recruiting campaigns, onboarding experiences, and employer brand assets.
- Partner with Facilities and Engineering to ensure physical spaces, hardware displays, and signage reflect Castelion's visual standards.
- Facilitate working sessions that help teams articulate objectives and translate them into creative briefs, concepts, and visual narratives.
Team leadership and studio operations
- Provide day-to-day direction, feedback, and mentorship for graphic artist to help grow their craft, speed, and judgment.
- Establish clear intake, scoping, prioritization, and review workflows so the Brand Studio stays focused on the highest-impact work while still handling urgent needs.
- Set and uphold quality standards for all visual output, ensuring work is on-brief, on-time, on-brand, and appropriate for our customers and mission.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in visual design, brand systems, art direction, or closely related roles, with a portfolio that shows strong visual storytelling, systems thinking, and multi-format execution.
- Demonstrated experience owning or evolving a visual identity system and building reusable design infrastructure (templates, libraries, guidelines) that others rely on.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) with excellent layout, typography, and information design skills.
- Experience collaborating directly with cross-functional partners such as marketing, communications, business development, engineering, and HR/People.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable explaining design rationale, giving and receiving feedback, and influencing decisions with non-design stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in defense, aerospace, autonomy, robotics, or other deep-tech sectors.
- Experience supporting capture/proposal efforts, or government/DoW customers from a creative and visual storytelling perspective.

“The Loop” is a new local news program in partnership with the Hearst-owned station in Tampa, Florida. The show presents a modern, locally grounded approach to news, featuring reporters and content contributors who live and work in the community. Produced by Oktant Productions, a New York–based production company with deep leadership experience in news, “The Loop” blends trusted journalistic standards with innovative storytelling.
The Role
- Serve as the primary on-camera presence and authentic voice for "The Loop."

The Opportunity
- We are seeking a seasoned Producer to temporarily partner with our Live Creative Studio team. The ideal candidate is operationally-minded, creatively-savvy and passionate about bringing impactful experiences to life. This role will partner with our Producer, responsible for managing asset production across our slate of Live events.
- From raw asset materials to final product asset deliverables, you'll be a valuable part of the team's process, including any post-launch asset needs or innovation needs that our work helps support. You will work with many partners and stakeholders, such as Live Streaming Program Managers (tracking overarching event milestones), cross-functional teams (eg Regional Merchandising, Marketing, Launch Ops, Post) as well as and external partners (production agencies and self-delivering content partners) to project manage static, video and textual assets.
- This role helps ensure smooth delivery of assets to/from internal and external partners. You'll be responsible for partnering closely with Live Creative Studio team to ensure we hit milestones effectively, for a high volume of live events.
- Production is the backbone to ensure the creative we deliver for our members is produced accurately and efficiently. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working both on highly bespoke tent-pole projects (being very hands-on in the details of promotional creative) and also working to oversee production at scale (having worked with external vendors.)

Role: Senior Controls Engineer
Blue Ash, OH or Remote
- Controls Engineer Skills:
- One needs experience programming PLCs to support Material Handling Equipment (i.e., conveyors, sorters, automated storage and retrieval systems, order picking technologies, and print/apply and weighing systems) operations within a distribution center. Also understanding equipment requirements, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions.
- It’s definitely not general material handling or general warehouse distribution knowledge. One must use Ladder Logic Programming skills to develop PLC software for complex machines and systems via communications interface to external systems such as servers, scanners, scales, etc.
- The Senior Controls Engineer & Mid-Controls Engineer level program all the time. When they are in the office creating programs for a project, it is strictly all programming. When they are at the job site commissioning the system, it is a mix of troubleshooting and changing the programs as necessary. They do need to know how to program from scratch. We exclusively use Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLC’s and Studio 5000 software.
- MAS provides server-based software and electrical controls to manage & control automated distribution systems for the warehousing industry. Utilizing conveyor systems along with other automation hardware, MAS provides solutions which optimize unloading, receipt of product, flow, storage, retrieval, picking, sorting, order processing, packaging, labeling and shipment of inventory—then properly integrate those processes to customer’s computer systems (WMS, WES, ERP, etc.).
- These solutions are utilized by numerous major retailers through the United States for their store and direct to consumer (.com) order fulfillment. Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Performance Media + Digitalwill lead strategy and execution across paid social, paid search, and web optimization. This is a critical revenue-generating role responsible for scaling efficient acquisition, optimizing conversion, and delivering measurable business growth.

This leader combines strategic thinking with deep platform fluency and hands-on execution. They are in the platforms daily — reviewing performance, directing the agency on executions & optimizations, refining audience strategies, and accelerating test-and-learn cycles. Paid media is a critical acquisition engine for the business, and this role is directly accountable for driving revenue, improving efficiency, and unlocking scalable growth.

Essential Responsibilities
Paid Media Ownership
- Drive strategy and execution for paid social and paid search, driving efficient acquisition, traffic, and revenue growth
- Develop channel-specific roadmaps inclusive of audience strategy, testing frameworks, and funnel optimization
- Manage media budgets and allocation across channels, optimizing to CAC, ROAS, and other core performance KPIs to drive incremental scale and efficiency
- Continually monitor performance, proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that inform investment decisions and campaign evolution
Web Ownership
- Own performance-focused web optimization strategy and executions, partnering with tech and content teams to improve site experience, on-site engagement, conversion, and revenue per visitor
- Drive campaign landing page strategy to ensure alignment between ad creative, messaging, and on-site experience to drive conversion
- Build and maintain a robust experimentation roadmap across media and web/digital pages to continuously improve performance
- Lead SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and content optimization to drive high-intent organic traffic growth
- Align paid search insights with SEO strategy to capitalize on high-performing keywords and content opportunities.
Integrated Campaign Collaboration
- Provide performance insights that inform broader marketing and campaign strategies
- Ensure media strategy is tightly aligned with promotional calendars and integrated campaigns
- Serve as the digital performance subject matter expert across cross-functional planning conversations.
Agency Management
- Lead day-to-day management of paid media agency, ensuring alignment to business goals, KPIs, and budget targets
- Set clear performance expectations and hold partners accountable to efficiency and growth metrics
- Evaluate agency strategy, media plans, testing roadmaps, and reporting to ensure rigor, innovation, and continuous optimization
- Drive weekly and monthly performance recaps, translating insights into actionable next steps
Requirements/Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in paid media, performance/digital marketing, growth marketing, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success managing paid social and paid search at scale with direct accountability for revenue and efficiency metrics.
- Deep understanding of digital funnel metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV, CVR, AOV
- Experience managing significant media budgets and optimizing across platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, YouTube).
- Strong understanding of website performance drivers including conversion rate optimization (CRO), landing page strategy, site health, and the interplay between paid media, organic search, and on-site experience.
- Agency management experience
- Strong analytical capability; highly proficient in performance reporting and testing frameworks
- Industry experience in beauty, wellness, ecommerce, or consumer services preferred but not required.
