KEY PURPOSE:

The Marketing Manager, USA will be the on-the-ground force driving Berghaus’ brand momentum across the market. Lead US Brand Activation & Campaign Execution

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

KEY PURPOSE:

The Senior Community Marketing Manager leads Speedo’s community, social, and media presence in North America, building meaningful connections with consumers, creators, and brand partners. This role oversees PR agency management, ambassador and affiliate programs, influencer marketing, grassroots activations, and brand-driven partnerships. KEY PURPOSE

The Sports Marketing Manager leads Speedo’s athlete and partnership strategy across North America. About The Role
Our client, a leading global CPG organization, is seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to lead how its brands actively engage in conversation, culture, and community. This role owns day-to-day engagement strategy and executionβ€”ensuring the brand’s social presence is human, responsive, and culturally relevant.
You will play a critical role in shaping how iconic consumer brands connect with audiences in real time, turning everyday interactions into meaningful brand moments that drive relevance and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement Strategy & Execution
  • Own and execute cross-platform community engagement strategies
  • Define platform-specific engagement approaches aligned to audience behavior and brand objectives
  • Lead proactive and reactive engagement across comments, DMs, mentions, and cultural conversations
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to show up in real-time and cultural moments beyond owned content
  • Build scalable frameworks that drive UGC, participation, and community advocacy
  • Partner cross-functionally with Strategy, Creative, Brand, Influencer, PR, Legal, and Customer Care
Community Activation & Advocacy
  • Lead fan engagement initiatives including surprise-and-delight, gifting, sampling, and product seeding
  • Execute advocacy programs tied to campaigns, launches, and cultural moments
  • Develop repeatable workflows, outreach playbooks, and activation guardrails
  • Turn high-value interactions into shareable, brand-building moments
  • Provide expertise on community tools, partner ecosystems, and activation technologies
Brand Voice & Governance
  • Serve as the editorial lead for all community interactions
  • Develop and maintain response guidelines, tone of voice, and engagement standards
  • Ensure brand-safe moderation with consistency, speed, and quality
Insights & Cultural Intelligence
  • Monitor sentiment, trends, and behavioral signals across platforms
  • Translate insights into campaign strategy and rapid-response opportunities
  • Leverage listening tools to improve engagement quality and responsiveness
  • Stay current on emerging platforms, tools, and cultural trends
Risk Management & Escalation
  • Monitor and triage sensitive or high-risk interactions
  • Execute escalation protocols with PR, Legal, Customer Care, and Brand teams
  • Protect brand reputation through timely, accurate, and thoughtful responses
Measurement & Optimization
  • Track and analyze KPIs across:
    • Engagement quality
    • Sentiment
    • Participation
    • Response time/performance
  • Measure impact of gifting, seeding, and advocacy programs
  • Contribute to performance reporting and strategic recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement through test-and-learn optimization
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in community management, social engagement, or audience strategy
  • Proven success managing high-volume brand social presence and moderation
  • Experience executing gifting, seeding, and advocacy programs
  • Strong fluency across major and emerging social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.)
  • Exceptional written communication and brand voice control
  • Experience with social listening and community management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Khoros, Sprout)
  • Strong judgment in reputation-sensitive and escalation scenarios
  • Ability to translate insights into clear, strategic recommendations
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, culture-driven environments

Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead the day-to-day execution and long-term strategic development of our social ecosystem.

This role is equal parts platform strategist, content orchestrator, growth driver, and brand guardian β€” someone who understands how each platform plays a distinct role while contributing to a cohesive, elevated brand presence.

You will oversee all social touchpoints across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms, while also leading influencer partnerships, creator relationships, and product seeding programs that expand brand reach and community.

This role partners closely with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, and PR to ensure social media is fully integrated into the brand and business.


Key Responsibilities

Channel Strategy and Management

Own the day-to-day management of all social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels.

Define and maintain the role of each platform within the broader brand ecosystem.

Build and manage monthly and seasonal content calendars in partnership with Creative and Marketing.

Ensure publishing cadence, platform optimization, and distribution strategies are intentional and consistent.

Identify emerging platform opportunities and develop strategies to grow brand presence.


Social Growth and Audience Development

Develop and execute strategies to grow brand audience, engagement, and community across platforms.

Identify content formats and storytelling approaches that drive reach, saves, shares, and follower growth.

Monitor platform trends and emerging behaviors to keep the brand culturally relevant.

Test and iterate content formats to continuously improve performance and visibility.


Content Direction and Copy Leadership

Lead social copy direction in alignment with brand voice and campaign narratives.

Translate campaign concepts into platform-specific storytelling.

Write and/or oversee captions, hooks, and platform-native content formats.

Partner with Creative to brief content needs and ensure deliverables support both brand storytelling and performance goals.


Influencer and Creator Partnerships

Own influencer and creator strategy across identification, outreach, relationship management, and performance tracking.

Build and grow a network of aligned creators, tastemakers, and brand advocates.

Develop and manage the product seeding program in partnership with PR and Merchandising.

Ensure partnerships reflect brand positioning while driving meaningful reach, engagement, and customer acquisition.

Track influencer performance and optimize partnerships based on impact.


Performance and Optimization

Define KPIs for each platform and track performance against them.

Deliver weekly and monthly reporting with insights and actionable recommendations.

Continuously optimize content based on data, audience behavior, and platform trends.

Translate performance insights into actionable strategies for content, partnerships, and growth.


Cross-Functional Integration

Partner closely with Creative, E-commerce, Marketing, and PR teams.

Align social storytelling with product launches, campaigns, and commercial priorities.

Ensure social media functions as a fully integrated brand and revenue-driving channel, not a siloed function. Support broader marketing initiatives through social-first thinking and creator partnerships.
