KEY PURPOSE:

The Marketing Manager, USA will be the on-the-ground force driving Berghaus’ brand momentum across the market. Acting as the essential link between our Global HQ in London and our commercial, product, and retail teams in the US, this role will identify and unlock opportunities that accelerate brand growth in one of our highest potential markets. They will translate the global brand strategy into culturally relevant, locally resonant activity β€” collaborating with creative, media, and community partners to bring Berghaus to life for US consumers. This is a hybrid strategic–hands-on role: part market specialist, part brand builder, part orchestrator. Ultimately, this person ensures our brand shows up with impact, consistency, and relevance across the US landscape.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead US Brand Activation & Campaign Execution

β€’ Localize and execute global brand campaigns with excellence, ensuring creative relevance and market fit.

β€’ Manage and brief US creative and media agencies to deliver high-impact storytelling and distribution.

β€’ Oversee all US brand moments, launches, retail activations, OOH, and creator partnerships.

Be the Market Lens & Local Connection Point

β€’ Serve as the eyes and ears of the brand in the US β€” capturing insight, trends, competitive shifts, and cultural movements.

β€’ Represent the US voice in global strategic discussions, ensuring the market’s needs are understood and prioritized.

β€’ Build strong cross-functional relationships with US commercial, merchandising, retail, and product teams.

Drive Brand Growth Through Retail Marketing

β€’ Own and deliver the US retail marketing strategy across key wholesale partners β€” leading seasonal campaigns, product launches, and in-store storytelling that drives brand visibility, relevance, and sell-through.

β€’ Translate global brand strategy into locally resonant retail execution, working closely with US commercial, merchandising, and retail teams to ensure the brand shows up consistently, credibly, and distinctively at every consumer touchpoint.

β€’ Plan, manage, and measure retail marketing investment, own budgets, defining success metrics, and continuously optimizing activity based on performance, insight, and commercial impact.

Strengthen US Content, Social & Community Presence

β€’ Work with global teams to scale content output from the US, ensuring consistent storytelling and higher channel performance.

β€’ Partner with local creators, photographers, athletes, and grassroots outdoor communities to deepen engagement.

β€’ Ensure Berghaus’ global brand voice translates authentically in a US context.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

β€’ 3–5 years of experience in community activation, experiential marketing, creator partnerships, and/or retail marketing within outdoor, sport, or lifestyle brands.

β€’ A natural connector, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships across creators, athletes, clubs, retailers, media, and community leaders.

β€’ Hands-on experience delivering real world activations, including community events, rides, hikes, launches, seeding programs, partnerships, trade shows, and retail moments.

β€’ Experience briefing and managing creators and partners to deliver high quality, on brand, culturally relevant content.

β€’ Understanding of the U.S. outdoor landscape, including mountain and adventure communities, cultural moments, specialty outdoor retail, and wholesale dynamics.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with retail partners to unlock space, visibility, and activation opportunities across POS, visual merchandising, shop in shops, windows, and seasonal campaigns.

β€’ Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands, partners, launches, and activation calendars simultaneously.

β€’ Experience working cross functionally with marketing, sales, retail, and global/HQ teams, balancing global brand direction with local execution.

β€’ Strong understanding of brand and product storytelling, tailored to specific channels, communities, and categories.

β€’ Analytical mindset, with the ability to measure, report on, and optimize activations based on performance and learnings.

β€’ High attention to detail and strong executional standards across physical and experiential environments.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools; ability to write clear, actionable project briefs.

β€’ Thrives in a fast paced, team first, high energy environment, with a positive, can do, customer focused attitude.

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 annually

Base pay is a portion of our total compensation package and determined within a range that allows growth and development within your role. Your base pay will be determined based on experience, skills and qualifications.

SUMMARY:Β 

The Associate Buyer is a key member of the team tasked with elevating one of our iconic brands at TR Retail LLC, and successfully growing its business in our retail and ecommerce stores. The role works closely with the Brand Director, Product Merchandising, and Marketing to inform how the buy is built and executed at retail. With support from the Director of Merchandising and Inventory Lifecycle Management (the Director), the Associate Buyer will formulate and execute buying and assortment strategies to maximize sales, net profit, and store performance for the assigned categories. The Associate Buyer is responsible for the overall health of inventory, maintaining proper stock levels and assortments through detailed analysis for the retail and online stores. This role will reallocate and replenish merchandise between warehouse and stores based on sales and stock levels, to optimize sales opportunities with the pursuit of getting the right products to the right place at the right time. This role is also responsible for providing necessary analysis and reports to the Senior Retail team to aid decisions.Β Β 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Β 


BuyingΒ 

  • Own end to end merchandising and buying strategies, identify and seek opportunities to positively affect company’s overall point of view and financial outcome.Β 
  • Review seasonal collections, strategize investments based on OTB, sales analysis, trend projection, and historical performance for their assigned brand and/or category.Β 
  • Build, evaluate and revise sales plans at category and collection level.Β 
  • Develop monthly allocation and product launch plans in collaboration with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations, in accordance with marketing and promotion strategies.Β 
  • Identify new business opportunities through sales analysis, retail feedback and competitive research.Β 
  • Maintain margin by managing seasonal markdowns and eventual RTV strategy.Β 
  • Ensure all steps of data entry and POs for new collections are accurately entered in the systemΒ 
  • Attend merchandising, marketing, and product related meetings for the assigned brand and/or categoryΒ 
  • Partner with the Director to formulate and execute assortment plans for seasonal buys, strategize investments based on OTB, sales analysis, trend projection, and historical performanceΒ 


Inventory Management and ReplenishmentΒ 

  • Consistently monitor sales and stock for all stores, analyze and execute replenishments, transfers, and consolidations accordingly to provide optimal size integrity, maximize sales opportunity, and minimize leftover stock.Β Β 
  • Review weekly replenishment/ transfer recommendations made by Retail Support Team and make necessary adjustmentsΒ 
  • Validate all replenishment POs written by Retail Support Team and send to Corporate Customer ServiceΒ 
  • Analyze stock performance and recommend merchandise for markdown and eventual RTVΒ 
  • Execute markdowns and other price changes in retail systemΒ 
  • Manage minimums for auto replenishable stock, review and adjust when necessaryΒ 
  • Plan and communicate Monthly Delivery Calendar for retail and online stores to ensure merchandise are delivered promptly and according to marketing plans; coordinate and negotiate with Shipping Department to minimize impact on merchandise delaysΒ 
  • Work with Store Managers, Retail Operations, Customer Service, and Shipping Departments to resolve shipping discrepanciesΒ 
  • Review and process damage returns, record damage reasons and spot trends for possible defective items or production issues and communicate with the Director and the Corporate Merchandising TeamΒ

  • Own Speedo’s highest-impact partnerships with federations, universities, and teams.
  • Partner closely with Team Sales to ensure partnerships drive brand visibility, product adoption, and wholesale ROI.
  • Oversee partnerships with organizations such as USA Swimming.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and partnerships are activated consistently and effectively.

Activations & Events

  • Lead the planning and strategic direction for athlete appearances, content, and key event activations across North America.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to shape campaigns and athlete storytelling frameworks, ensuring alignment with Speedo’s brand voice and Global narratives.
  • Oversee athlete activation plans for major moments including Olympic Trails, collegiate champioships, national meets, and federation gatherings.

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Directly manage and develop the Sports Marketing Specialist, providing strategic direction, clear priorities, and performance feedback.
  • Set activation standards and ensure high-quality execution across athlete, partnership and event initiatives.
  • Foster strong collaboration between Sports Marketing, Brand, Social, Product and Sales teams through clear role definition and communication.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and optimize sponsorship ROI, athlete performance, and partnership outcomes.
  • Deliver clear reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure activations drive measurable brand and commercial results, including on-site retail impact.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5–7 years of experience in sports marketing, athlete management, or sponsorships - ideally within swim, Olympic, or performance sports.
  • Deep understanding of NIL, collegiate sports, and partnership marketing.
  • Proven experience managing or supporting partnerships with federations, athletic programs, or sports organizations.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills with athletes, agents, and sports partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategic programs and measure performance.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about Speedo’s mission and competitive heritage.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually

Base pay is a portion of our total compensation package and determined within a range that allows growth and development within your role. Your base pay will be determined based on experience, skills and qualifications.

KEY PURPOSE:

The Global Product Manager - Hardgoods is responsible for building and maintaining Speedo’s global range within designated categories. This includes maintaining and growing current business, briefing and building new lines based on market opportunities and brand positioning, fostering key relationships internally and in the marketplace.

Additionally, this role will enhance brand values and deliver key performance metrics, style efficiency targets, and sales margin objectives.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver seasonal line plans aligned with overall brand and business strategy, highlighting global development opportunities, proposed costs, unique sales opportunities, and ensuring brand consistency across categories.
  • Manage assigned product categories from concept to commercialization, including line plan updates, style setup, range briefs for new products and packaging, and development of competitive pricing structures that meet corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with planners to ensure SKU counts, margins, and budget parameters are achieved.
  • Analyze global sales histories, patterns, and industry trends; assess market size, structure, and dynamics to inform range development decisions.


  • Coordinate key activities to ensure process and execute on time against agreed timelines with design and operations.
  • Partner with Regional Merchandising teams and Commercial Leads to ensure product viability throughout the process, procure and maintain global forecasts, plan revenue growth against targets, and preline with sales in markets.
  • Work closely with Asia Product Development to identify innovative solutions and technically advanced product ideas; prepare business cases where appropriate and maintain awareness of manufacturing environments and cost structures.
  • Understand production lead times and collaborate with Asia teams to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to the two-season development calendar.
  • Partner with Marketing to communicate product features and packaging requirements internally and externally; execute seasonal packaging, collateral, and workbooks.
  • Ensure product marketing is clear, compelling, and effective across print and web. Provide a seasonal launch package for all global sales teams.
  • Ensure all design and packaging briefs are delivered on time to support timely product launches.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams and Regional Merchandising to provide quality input into the range brief and product development. Ensure teams are well-trained and fully briefed on product details.
  • Engage with consumers and retailers to identify innovative solutions to market needs; maintain strong market understanding.
  • Conduct market research, including analysis of consumer trends and on-site visits to observe consumer end use environments (pool and/or beach).
  • Maintain in-depth competitive analysis of all categories in all channels of distribution and maintain a competitive sample/item library.
  • Support in-field product testing to improve product development and benefit the sell-in process.
  • Present product ranges, offers and ideas externally at retail, internally at sales conferences domestic and international.
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver sell-in and sell-through assets; manage briefs, follow-ups, and track progress against deadlines for catalogs, tech sheets, and other deliverables.
  • Drive product-marketing projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with calendar deadlines and timely handoffs.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in product merchandising or product management.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Knowledge or experience in swimming is a plus.



Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually
