SUMMARY:

The Inventory Manager is a hands-on operational support role focused exclusively on maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity for a Fortune 500 corporation. The role exists to support warehouse operations by ensuring every part is in the correct location, in the correct quantity, and ready for kitting or picking. The primary objective is to prevent “Not In Location” (NIL) events that cause production downtime. We need employees who are highly promotable and self-sustaining.

We are seeking an experienced inventory manager to lead inventory control operations within a fast-paced distribution environment, managing approximately $18 million in on-hand inventory. This role is responsible for improving and sustaining inventory accuracy to 99.7%.


The ideal candidate will bring strong inventory discipline, root cause analysis, operational leadership, and the ability to perform under pressure while working cross-functionally with internal teams and external customer contacts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the site’s cycle count process across ad hoc and structured count programs
  • Ensure urgent inventory discrepancies are investigated, counted, and resolved within tight turnaround windows
  • Perform root cause analysis on variances and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues
  • Drive transactional integrity by identifying and correcting scanning failures, unrecorded inventory moves, and supplier-related discrepancies

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble and install parts, structural components, systems, and sub-assemblies to meet quality requirements for wing and horizontal stabilizer assemblies. 

  • Review bar charts or automated timelines to determine job assignments and obtain necessary drawings. 

  • Locate work areas using drawings, installation plans, or other paperwork that specifies airplane and section numbers. 

  • Obtain and verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials to ensure they are correct and free of defects. 

  • Retrieve parts from the Parts Control Area or other designated locations if they are not pre-picked, ensuring they meet specifications. 

  • Obtain a two-way radio and confined space flag before working in confined spaces, adhering to Communications System for Confined Hazardous Areas (CSCHA) rules and regulations. 

  • Perform drilling, reaming, riveting, cold working, bonding, grounding, and sealing as necessary to complete work assignments. 

  • Assemble and install aircraft plumbing and electrical systems within closed areas of the wing and horizontal stabilizer, ensuring compliance with specifications. 

  • Perform pickup and rework, incorporating changes and conducting functional checks on work typically installed by lower classifications. 

  • Perform continuity checks for electrical systems and hand form electrical wiring and soldering as necessary for work assignments.

  • Perform final cleaning and closing of fuel cells, including vacuuming and installing fuel cell doors. 

  • Locate and pre-install routing and clamping hardware for in-wing fuel tank electrical and plumbing systems as required. 

  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify that quality standards are achieved. 

  • Report job handicaps, such as errors in sequencing, parts, materials, and assembly procedures, following shop procedures. 

  • Check work after completion of each operation to ensure assembly is complete and free of defects and remove and replace installations and related components as necessary. 

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards: 

  • Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

Basic Job Functions: SUMMARY: The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for assembling kits as needed and preparing parts for shipment utilizing UPS and FedEx systems.

Duties include preparing and crating orders by processing requests according to the bill of materials; pulling parts; preparing parts for shipment or assembly kits; verify accuracy of order; and complete associated electronic transactions in warehouse management system prior to parts leaving the area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Read and follow computerized instructions for pick and packing work order items.

Gather parts for shipment ensuring the type and quantity of parts match the order, inspect product and remove defective parts, record and document parts for shipment, package parts according to the order, utilize small package shipment systems as provided by carriers to create tracking labels, create supporting shipping documentation, move order to delivery area.

Continually checking for completeness of work order requirements and components.

Organize and restock all products as needed on shelves in the UPS area.

Maintain an adequate inventory of stock items and communicate shortages to Shop Supervisor.

Assist with physical inventory on a regular basis.

Prepare, compound, dispense medications, and perform other technical duties in the pharmacy department under direct supervision of a Pharmacist. Must demonstrate competency through supervised observation and/or any other necessary annual required competencies. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Medication Distribution
* Single Dispense - must prepare medications and/or IV for dispensing, select correct medication, correct strength, and correct form. Fill, label, and initial medication bag for a pharmacist verification.
* Bulk Dispense- Must fill multiple patient specific medications in accordance with department procedure.
* Transportation- bulk fill, first dose, and missing doses will be delivered securely to the appropriate units, while practicing appropriate procedure to ensure confidentiality for all patients.
* Missing Doses- upon request, must properly generate label, fill and have checked by a pharmacist, then dispense to the appropriate floor or unit.
* Product Preparation- must properly prepare, measure, count, medications including compound ointments, creams, oral solutions, oral solids, IV, etc.
(ADC) Automatic Dispensing Cabinet
* User- must be capable of accurately adding new users to the ADC system.
* Product- must properly load ADC with correct medications after medication is checked by a pharmacist. Monitor par levels and increase or decrease as needed.
* Reports- must be able to generate needed reports to fill, track, and identify/report all discrepancies.
* Minor Maintenance- must trouble shoot minor problems with ADC.
* Restock- must accurately fill medication, fluids and stock outs as needed.
* Recall- must assist the pharmacist and inventory specialist in retrieving recalled medications.
* Controlled Substances- Must follow all policies, procedures, and applicable laws with controlled substance medications.
IV Admixture
* Aseptic technique- Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic technique including; proper hand washing and proper use of IV Room attire. Understand Joint Commission, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures. Must complete an aseptic technique competency to show compliance with USP standards, conducted by supervisor or Lead Pharmacy Technician.
* Small volume- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing small volume admixtures
* Specialty solutions- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing epidural, intrathecal, intravenous, intramuscular, sterile syringes and chemotherapy (when applicable)
* Syringes- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing neonatal syringes (when applicable)
* Large volume- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing large volume solutions

* Properly provide customer service to customers and other healthcare professionals via in-person or virtual means.
