Position Summary

The job will require personnel to sort, segregate, and size reduce radioactive waste while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment with respiratory protection. Work must be executed compliantly in accordance to detailed operating procedures while working in a team atmosphere. The use of various hand tools and power tools will be required for daily job functions. While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, will ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; will maintain required safety, security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety, security and quality an integral part of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):

• Responsible for proper handling, packaging, treatment and documenting hazardous and radioactive waste exhibiting chemical and radiological hazards.
• Providing technical support including opening waste containers, removing waste items if possible, and describing the waste items and recording the results.
• Routine interaction with various personnel in coordinating characterization, certification, and disposition of waste items and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements with regard to receipt, storage and disposal of waste items. .
• This position requires job specific/site specific training.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

Job Overview

The Turnaround QA Technicians act as the primary interface between contractor QC inspectors, QA Coordinators, and other members of the turnaround team. Their main duty is to monitor contractor performance in the field—helping ensure the quality of work meets plant expectations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of the day in assigned areas observing contractor activities.
• Audit contractor flange inspections for proper execution by Qualified Flange Inspectors.
• Audit contractor flange make-up to ensure compliance with the Site Flange Makeup Procedure.
• Audit contractor work for adherence to plant procedures, EMETL practices, and pipe specifications.
• Spot check materials (nuts, bolts, gaskets, piping, valves, etc.) for correct installation and green PMI tags. If not PMI’ed, items must be re-verified or replaced.
• Ensure proper material handling and storage as per G8S-6500-10 (“Welding Material Control”), G8S-6500-11 (“Materials Segregation”), and contractor’s TA Quality Plan.
• Spot check leak detection tubing installation.
• Validate completion of touch-up/repair painting; ensure contractor QCs are tracking repairs.
• Assist inspectors with photos, documentation, etc., at hold or witness points as needed.
• Verify that contractor quality checklists and reports are completed and submitted according to the TA Quality Plan.
• Review documentation upon completion, organize field walks and sign-offs per the RTO process, and collaborate with contractor QA representatives to close punch lists.
• Learn and verify tubing fitting assembly; ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Cooperate with QAQC team and TACs for RTO systems/jobs; organize field walks and log deficiencies.
• Forward documents requiring archiving to the TA documenter.
• Generate non-conformance reports for deviations from plant or contractor practices, specifications, procedures, or TA Quality Plans.
• Update the Quality Team shift activity log for effective communication across shifts.
• Comply with all EH&S and LHC TA Safety Plan requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of chemical plant and skilled craft experience

Manufacturing Yard Planning & Inventory Manager

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Yard Planning & Inventory Manager is responsible for planning, controlling, and optimizing raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory-including steel coils, plates, and pipe products—across yard and storage operations.

This role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective material flow, supports uninterrupted production, and improves yard utilization, inventory accuracy, and dispatch readiness in alignment with production schedules, logistics requirements, and customer delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Yard Planning & Layout Management

• Develop and maintain optimized yard layouts for steel coils, plates (LSAW and specialty grades), pipes (HFI / ERW / LSAW), finished goods, and dispatch zones.
• Ensure efficient movement of materials from storage to production with minimal handling and congestion.
• Coordinate stacking, segregation, and accessibility based on grade, size, and production priority.

Inventory Management & Control

• Own inventory accuracy for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Maintain real-time inventory visibility using ERP and WMS systems.
• Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and variance resolution.
• Ensure FIFO compliance, heat traceability, and proper material identification.

Production & Dispatch Coordination

• Partner daily with production planning, coating, quality, and logistics teams.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.
• Support truck, rail, and barge dispatch activities.
• Prevent production delays caused by material shortages or misplacement.

Yard Operations & Safety Leadership

• Enforce safety standards for crane operations, forklifts, and heavy material handling.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety policies.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong, zero-incident safety culture.

Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Use ERP/WMS tools to track inventory movement, aging, and dwell time.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, yard utilization, damage, and dispatch performance.
• Lead Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support automation and digital improvement efforts within yard operations.

Team Leadership

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

Starting Pay: $20/hr plus OT available

Shift/hours: Mon - Fri 7:30a - 4p (Start time can be flexible but always 8 hours) Some Saturdays

Job Description

• This person will be intaking crates with Aerosol cans in them, sorting and labeling them
• This is a dirty job and it is mostly outside

The Sorter/Operator handles, packages, and disposes of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in full compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. The operator collaborates with other TSDF (Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility) operators in various site locations, including outdoor settings. Most of the waste materials for this role will be used and unused aerosol cans. Proper separation of processable and non-processable cans will be priority.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Handles, classifies, segregates, labels, and packages hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with federal and State regulations.

• Segregates chemicals by compatibility and DOT Hazard class.
• Performs consolidation of hazardous materials/waste (i/e/, bulking, repackaging) in a safe and compliant manner.
• Fosters knowledge of final disposition facility protocols.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area/station
• Sweep, shovel, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Safety First Mindset

• 0 - 2 Years of overall relevant work experience.
• 24-hour HAZWOPER Certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to wear and safely use all levels of personal protective equipment (PPE) – Including hard hat, high visibility outer wear, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toed shoes/boots (all PPE will be provided except for footwear, incumbent must have on first day, will not be able work without them)

The Warehouse Operations and Logistics Coordinator will perform the assigned duties in the Vacaville Distribution Center (managed by a 3rd party partner) and will be responsible for various activities and reporting related to KUIU Logistics, Warehousing and Quality.

· Monitor compliance to account specific SOPs and Work Instruction with a focus on inventory control procedures .

• Facilitate on the job training and instruction for team members on the correct use of tools and equipment to ensure proper safety and operating procedures are followed.
• Mounts slit rolls of product onto shaft of machine using lift cart. Removes rolls as well.
• Sets up and makes necessary adjustments to the machine.
• Must be able to identify defects and splice good material together per spec.
• Reads and understands specs of products being run. Must know packaging materials required for palletizing finished product also. Occasionally uses hand tools to prepare packaging materials.
• Completes daily production reports.
• Operates stretch wrap machine to wrap finished pallets.
• Regularly cleans machine and surrounding area.
• Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations. Follows plant safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of safety.

Responsible for producing the best quality product at all times.

• Ensure all production personnel are properly trained to identify quality defects for rejection, understand the rework process, and know the requirements to produce product that meets or exceeds customer standards and expectations.
• Ensure all quality measurements are performed as defined by the testing control plan and are recorded in NWA Quality Monitor.
• Ensure all raw materials, packaging materials, work in progress and finished goods are labeled and that lot numbers are fully traceable throughout the production processes.
• Ensure all nonconforming products and materials are identified, communicated, segregated, and documented.

Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of equipment operation, quality control requirements, standards and procedures, and recognition of material which should be scrapped or reground.

• Maintain training documentation.

Monitor and analyze machine efficiency and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions when efficiency rate is below standard.

• Track OEE, changeovers, downtime, scrap, and bottle loss.
• Provide planned downtime to support implementation of corrective measures for improvements.
• Schedule product changeovers in a manner which minimizes downtime and loss of productivity.

Monitor all labor expenses, general labor, OT and temporary labor, weekly, pursuing the Corporate Goal of being the Low Cost Producer.

Maintain employee relations; maintenance of employee calendars, documentation of corrective action, counseling, vacation scheduling and appropriate staffing to meet production needs within budget limits. Measure employee turnover and implement action plans to eliminate employee terminations.

Prepare and maintain necessary production records, machine efficiency records, scrap reports, and other reports as required.

Schedule production to meet customer demand and safety stock requirements.

Supervise the activities of shift supervisors

• Schedule and facilitate supervisor meetings and maintain meeting minutes.

Promote teamwork throughout the plant.

Work in conjunction with maintenance personnel on TPM and CLAIR projects.

• Schedule necessary personnel to perform tasks outlined in TPM and CLAIR projects.
• Ensure employees understand and follow all TPM standards established by team members.

May perform the duties of a supervisor as needed or required.

Support the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of food safety, food defense, and quality systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government regulatory food safety requirements and Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) or British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards.

• Ensure production employees adhere to food safety, food defense, and prerequisite programs (such as security, pest control, foreign material control, allergen control, chemical control, etc.) as required.
• Ensure production processes are performed in a food-safe manner.
• Ensure all housekeeping duties are performed and documented according to the Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement which proactively recognizes and addresses deficiencies.

Experience and Educational Qualifications

Our Production Manager must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Management or Supervision in a manufacturing environment. He/she must have the ability to provide technical guidance through past experience and industry knowledge. He/she should possess strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities, a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business. Our candidate must be able to read, write and understand English.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To efficiently manage the day-to-day operation of the shift manufacturing function while producing top quality and safe beverage products following company policies and procedures.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs a work force of between 15 and 20 hourly employees, including line machine operators, lab technicians and mechanics.
• Works closely with other shift production supervisors for exchange of information and to assure continuity of production activities across shifts.
• Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance of production equipment; Quality Control Manager to coordinate quality control activities and corrective actions; Warehouse Supervisors to coordinate availability of materials stored in warehouse; Logistics Supervisor and outside vendor logistics dispatchers to coordinate Just-in-Time synchronization of raw material deliveries.
• Disseminate production procedures and union contract, ensures adherence to work rules and administers disciplinary action.
• Monitor equipment operation, coordinating raw materials, preparing reports, motivating and supervising plant employees.
• Supervise production personnel to achieve production efficiency and cost goals.
• Supervise employees to manufacture quality products in adherence to company quality policies and procedures.
• Achieve accurate work order processing and receiving of raw materials (bottles, cans, etc.).
• Develop and monitor employee performance and perform employee evaluations.
• Maintain a safe environment and enforce safety procedures and practices.
• Achieve standard efficiency goals and operate with breakage under 0.25% on a consistent basis. Operate with raw material loss under 1%.
• Ensure that production schedule is completed, and all production work orders are processed on a timely basis. Communicate with logistics personnel on any potential delays or deviations from schedule.
• Ensure that employees run equipment at target speeds, operating equipment effectively, attending to issues quickly and safely. Ensure operators report downtime and equipment issues accurately.
• Ensure that operators and lab technicians perform flavor changeovers with correct timing, correct product and correct materials, with minimum downtime and material loss. Investigate any deviations and report them for discussion and improvement.
• Monitor raw material usage and waste during shift maintaining awareness of syrup batch yields, bottle loss and low-fill rejects, etc. Contribute with practical suggestions to reduce waste.
• Review operator process and downtime logs, initial them in real time and take action to address repetitive issues. Ensure that operators have access to required process control blank sheets.
• Monitor production processes while on the production floor, researching opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions. Engage crew in line meetings or discussions of line issues in order to gather suggestions and improvements.
• Work closely with shift mechanics, discussing operational and mechanical issues and facilitating agreement to resolve repetitive issues. Submit maintenance work requests as dictated by operational issues.
• Monitor shift mechanics’ performance, ensuring prompt response to line issues and providing guidance related to production line priorities. Communicate performance issues to maintenance management and follow up on performance improvement plans and disciplinary action, if needed.
• Perform administrative duties effectively, including preparation of manning schedule for regular work week and overtime shifts, labor coding for payroll approval, and downtime reporting.
• Communicate with logistics and other supervisors to ensure adequate supply of raw materials to maintain production continuity across all shifts.
• Ensure that raw material shipments are accurately processed in inventory system and put away following SOP's and FIFO procedures. Ensure that used pallets and dunnage are returned following SOP’s.
• Perform safety inspections of production areas monthly. Ensure employees run equipment following safety best practices and SOP’s. Ensure that employees wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by safety procedures. Report unsafe conditions, including those reported by employees. Report safety incidents and lost time accidents immediately.
• Report immediately any condition that may contaminate or make products and packages unsafe.
• Review operators’ process control and packaging inspection log sheets, ensuring inspections are taking place in a timely manner and take action to address operational issues reported.
• Report and take action in response to raw material quality issues, segregate defective materials, and ensure operators and lab technicians gather defective samples of product or raw materials including lot number information.
• Ensure that quality issues are addressed on a timely manner so that defects are kept to a minimum and product on hold is minimized.
• Ensure that subordinates maintain work station area and equipment clean, follow Housekeeping SOP's and keep cleaning tools in their proper location. Enforce and ensure that employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices as trained.
• Ensure that employees report at their stations in time and in uniform, take their breaks at specified times and do not leave work stations unattended.
• Report all attendance incidents via email and submit log sheet to HR on a daily basis.
• Perform other duties as required.

Overview

Our Quality Control (QC) organization is seeking a QA Laboratory Technician to support laboratory

equipment, Temperature‑Controlled Units (TCUs), and reusable laboratory glassware cleaning across

all QC functional areas—including Chemistry, Microbiology, and Environmental Monitoring (EM).

This role is essential in maintaining a compliant, safe, and inspection‑ready laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and use cleaning, sporicidal, and disinfecting agents according to manufacturer

instructions.

• Ensure all chemical agents are within expiration and dispose of expired or unused agents per

local safety procedures.

• Document all equipment cleaning activities accurately and timely.

• Transfer temperature‑dependent materials between equivalent TCUs prior to cleaning activities.

• Confirm that the Instrument Maintenance Custodian has removed equipment from service

before cleaning.

• Identify and remove damaged glassware, ensuring appropriate disposal.

• Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and TCUs following prescribed

frequencies.

• Clean reusable laboratory glassware to meet required standards for intended use.

• Segregate dirty glassware and store clean glassware in a manner that maintains cleanliness and

Basic Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).

• 3+ years of experience in setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators.

• 1+ years of experience calibrating and/or using coordinate measurement machines, laser trackers, and/or optical measurement devices.

• Experience as a Quality Inspector.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.

• Ability to complete Fall Protection Training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience inspecting welds / welds certification

• Equivalent education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

Typical Education & Experience:

High school graduate or GED preferred.
