What you'll do
As a Tax Senior within the Business Tax Services group, you will provide federal tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base in various industry sectors. Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and developing strong client relationships on various federal tax consulting/compliance engagements.
- Advising clients on a variety of tax issues including accounting for income taxes, FTA (periods, methods & credits), tax provisions, tax compliance, business restructuring, and tax controversy.
- Overseeing complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates.
- Managing engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billing.
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team.

Qualifications
Required
- Language fluency in Japanese and English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
- 5+ years' experience in federal taxation, preparation and review experience of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field
- One of the following accreditations obtained or willing to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA exam
- If not CPA eligible:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The Group Quality Manager leads the end-to-end global quality strategy across all appliance platforms, manufacturing sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturing partners. This role ensures product safety, regulatory compliance, reliability, and a consistent premium customer experience while reducing warranty costs and protecting brand reputation in high-volume, long-life products.
Serving as the global leader for appliance quality strategy, this position oversees mechanical, electrical, electronic, thermal, and software-related quality throughout the full product lifecycle - from concept development through field performance - across refrigeration, cooking, ventilation, and dishwashing product categories.
This role reports directly to the President and is based in the Atlanta, GA area, with approximately 30–50% travel to domestic and international manufacturing sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities:
Quality Strategy & Governance
- Define and deploy a global quality strategy for major appliances aligned with brand, safety, cost, and reliability objectives.
- Establish standardized quality policies, procedures, and KPIs across all regions and platforms.
- Act as executive escalation owner for product safety incidents, regulatory actions, recalls, and field campaigns.
- Lead management reviews and risk assessments at executive level.
Quality Management Systems & Regulatory Compliance
- Own and govern the group QMS aligned appliance-specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, IEC, CE, NOM, DOE energy efficiency, EPA refrigerant regulations, and regional safety standards.
- Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits, as needed.
- Ensure effective CAPA systems and sustained corrective actions.
Product Development & Design Quality
- Partner with R&D to embed design-for-quality, design-for-reliability, and design-for-compliance.
- Govern DFMEA, DVP&R, reliability testing, HALT/HASS, and validation plans.
- Ensure robust design transfer and quality gates from concept through SOP.
- Approve product and engineering changes impacting safety, performance, or compliance.
Manufacturing & Process Quality
- Standardize quality processes across major appliance assembly lines, including:
- Critical-to-safety and critical-to-quality characteristics
- SPC and process capability for key operations
- Functional, safety, and end-of-line testing
- Drive defect prevention through error-proofing, in-line controls, and layered process audits.
- Support new factory launches, line transfers, and capacity expansions.
Supplier & Component Quality
- Define supplier quality standards for critical major appliance components including compressors, sealed systems, gas components, heaters, motors, PCBs, wiring harnesses, insulation, coatings, and structural parts.
- Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and ongoing performance.
- Partner with Sourcing to mitigate supply risk and manage supplier change control.
- Lead resolution of high-risk supplier quality issues.
Customer Quality, Field Performance & Warranty
- Own customer quality metrics including warranty claims, field failures, service call rates, and repeat repairs.
- Partner with Service, Field Operations, and Retail partners to analyze failure trends.
- Lead structured root cause analysis and corrective actions for systemic issues.
- Drive continuous reduction of warranty cost and field campaigns.
Cost of Poor Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and manage Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) across plants and suppliers.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, returns, and warranty expense.
- Deploy Lean Six Sigma and reliability engineering methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
- 12+ years of quality leadership in major appliance or durable consumer goods manufacturing

Major Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, review and complete real estate tax work/tax returns for multiple clients in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service Standards
- Utilize his or her extensive foundation of knowledge related to pass-through taxation and regulations and, as applicable, tax credit real estate properties including tax compliance and consulting

What you will Need:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
- Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required
- Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience

Job Summary
Reporting to the Group Supervisor - Air Operations, the Group Air Support Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring Group Air reservations are accurately booked and aligned with guest expectations and tour requirements. This position supports the Group Air teams and Supervisor by assisting with daily tasks to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Primary Functions:
- Assist Group Air Specialists with queue management and securing guest seat assignments.
- Perform quality checks on Group Air reservations after seat reduction dates and as needed.
- Action airline schedule changes promptly. Assist with protecting passengers when changes no longer meet minimal connection times and/or time restrictions on the tour package booked.
- Support Quality Control Air Coordinator(s) when necessary.
- Assist with fulfillment of Group Air requests across all office locations.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by the VP Air and Logistics, Air Operations Manager, Supervisor, or Airline Contracting and Pricing Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards and policies.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (educational assistance available through approved programs).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, air operations, quality control procedures, and reporting documentation standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit professional written materials.
- Effective team player with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and departments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to plan and structure work to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Commitment to fostering a cooperative and positive work environment.
