Overview:

This position is responsible for directing all quality assurance functions within the facility. The Quality Manager ensures that production, personnel practices, and food safety activities consistently meet internal program expectations and regulatory requirements.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Oversee adherence to all food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, FSMA, PRPs, and internal QA/manufacturing standards. Maintain close communication with production teams to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and put preventive measures in place.

  5. Perform ongoing HACCP and PCQI-related reviews and validations across the facility.

  7. Facilitate required training sessions and ensure that training logs, sign-offs, and records remain accurate and audit-ready.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related discipline.

HACCP and PCQI credentials required.

• Knowledge of FDA labeling and processing regulations.

• Background in sanitation or cleaning processes preferred.

• Understanding of product specifications, sampling practices, and process standards.

• Familiarity with GFSI schemes, HACCP, FSMA, SSOPs, and GMPs.
