ABOUT THE CLIENT

  • I’m currently representing a client that is a bit of an anomaly in the Chicago market. They are a powerhouse in the healthcare sector, but they’ve maintained a very high staff retention rate and a culture that actually respects work-life boundaries.
  • They don't participate in the "burn and churn" cycle. Instead, they’ve built a business on 90% + repeat clients. They are looking for a Project Managers of all levels who wants to own a project from pre-con through closeout, backed by a field team that actually knows what they’re doing.
  • They are currently looking for PM's from APM level up to Senior PM with healthcare experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Lead the Pre-con Phase: Drive estimating, value engineering, and scheduling before the first shovel hits the ground.
  • Navigate IDPH & ICRA: Use your expertise to steer projects through the complex Illinois Department of Public Health approvals and strict infection control standards.
  • Manage the "Golden Circle": Maintain the relationship between the hospital’s C-suite, the design team, and your field Superintendent.
  • Financial Stewardship: Total P&L responsibility, ensuring the project remains profitable while maintaining the high quality our repeat clients expect.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

  • The Resume: 8–12+ years in Project Management with a heavy emphasis on complex healthcare builds (ORs, Imaging, MRI suites, Central Plants).
  • The Chicago Edge: You know the local sub-market, the inspectors, and the unique challenges of building in the city.
  • The Tech Stack: Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and P6 is a given.
  • The Mindset: You’re a "cool-headed" leader. Healthcare construction is high-pressure; we need someone who solves problems without breaking a sweat.
