Ideal Profile

Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a cloud architecture, consulting, or solution design role.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Demonstrated industry expertise in banking, payments or insurance
- Experience working in a pre-sales or business development capacity, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and delivering pitches.
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of core GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM, Networking).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Deeper technical experience in either AI & Data (e.g., Gemini, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow) or Security (e.g., Cloud Armor, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of data management, security, and governance best practices in a cloud environment.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly preferred.

Pinterest's Infrastructure Governance (InfraGov) team is a small, high-impact group driving the strategy and execution of key infrastructure programs that keep Pinterest scalable, cost-effective, and secure. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY for an Assistant/Associate Technical Designer.
The role involves supporting garment construction and fitting processes, collaborating on pattern making, and assisting with technical design aspects. Additional responsibilities include ensuring design accuracy and maintaining quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
Assistant Tech -
- Minimum 1 year experience in Technical design - Internship experience is acceptable
- Associate Tech - Minimum 2-3 years experience in Technical design
- Experience with Technical Design and a strong understanding of Garment Construction
- Proficiency in Fitting processes and Pattern Making
- Knowledge of Architecture principles as they apply to apparel design
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skill is required
- General Computer skill set is required

- 10+ years of experience in Technical Design: Performance Apparel
- A deep expertise and understanding of fit, patternmaking, grading, technical construction, costing, and fabrics

- Extensive experience working with factories; full understanding of equipment, garment cutting/sewing/QA/QC process
- Proficiency in computer skills; use of Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite; Centric PLM (or similar PLM system), and 2D patternmaking systems (Accumark a plus)
- Exceptional multi-tasker and communicator, extremely detail oriented, and possess exceptional organizational skills

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000 per year.

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Sr. Technical Designer for Sleepwear to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
- Manage technical development for multiple product lines within the sleepwear category.
- Translate seasonal design concepts into production-ready garments with accurate construction and specifications.
- Measure and evaluate Proto, Fit, PP, and TOP samples to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Lead fit sessions, recommending adjustments to improve fit, construction, and overall garment quality.
- Identify and communicate fit, construction, and workmanship issues, and provide clear corrections and revisions to factories.
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs for development, costing, and sample submissions.
- Oversee and update sweater tech packs, including stitch and gauge details, specs, construction notes, fit comments, and grading.
- Ensure all fit and quality adjustments are completed at the pre-production stage before bulk production begins.
- Collaborate with private label partners to achieve target fit standards.
- Apply grading knowledge to develop and issue graded specifications.
- Maintain and utilize a block library for consistency in fit and development.
- Follow development calendars closely to meet key milestones and deadlines.
- Track sample progress and manage timelines to support on-time deliveries.
- Log incoming samples and help maintain an organized sample archive.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including design, merchandising, production, and sales to support product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design; sleepwear specialization preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in technical design, with a strong focus on sleepwear.
- Advanced knowledge of garment construction and fit.
- Solid understanding of sewing techniques, patternmaking, garment production, and textiles.
- Proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
