Must Haves:

Working knowledge of Quadient (or similar) mail machines, EMS or comparable mail management software.

Knowledge of print and mail center functions and USPS regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sorts both U.S.P.S. and on-campus mail in preparation for daily deliveries.

Delivers mail on designated campus route for faculty and administrators.

Operates a van or cart in a safe, effective manner.

Supports the on-campus delivery process twice daily including the delivery of on-campus mail and packages.

Processes metered mail and packages for all classes of mail.

Effective operation of Quadient mail machines and software programs. (Or comparable equipment and programs.)

Responsible for Customer Service interaction, with attention to detail, in a professional manner via phone, inΒ­person, work tickets, email, and/or service desks; and outreach to customer(s) when clarity is necessary.

Assists in preparation of bulk mail as needed.

Assists in preparation and metering of all mail types.

Understands, operates, and troubleshoots all industry standard Mail Services technologies, and is capable of being trained in print technology, including the printing machines for direct to print usage, large format printer and printing equipment, cutter, folder, laminator, shrink wrapper, stapler, hole puncher, jogger, perf/scoring machine, comb and tape binders, addresser, inserter, wafering machines, and the mail machines, as needed.

Prepares, prints, and mounts posters, as needed. Can be trained on use of WebCRD or comparable print management software.

Will be trained on use of forklift, as needed.

About the role

The Quadient Developer role is pivotal in designing and implementing innovative solutions using QI Digital Advantage Suite and Quadient Inspire Interactive. We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead to drive workflow and process automation across our client’s commercial printing and mailing operations. This role will be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity across print production and mail processing.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of automation leadership, software development capability, production workflow expertise, and business analysis skills. Key Responsibilities:

Automation Strategy & Implementation

  • Develop and execute an automation roadmap aligned with company business goals.

  • Integrate ERP/MIS systems (EFI Pace, Avanti, or similar) with production and mailing equipment.
  • Lead deployment of workflow automation tools such as Enfocus Switch, HP PrintOS, and Esko Automation Engine.

  • Design and implement custom workflow integrations using APIs, scripting, and system connectors.
