As a Client Account Manager II, you will be in charge of driving a sophisticated book of business featuring some of the largest advertisers at Pinterest. You'll work directly with some of our key advertisers as a trusted consultant to their business. Your strategic advice, analytical skills and sales skills are core to bringing to life the value we deliver as a platform.

We're looking for a Staff Data Scientist to lead the science behind how advertisers understand the impact of their investment on Pinterest through first and third party measurement products. You'll push the boundaries of ads measurement, advancing our approaches to causal inference and incrementality and partner closely with Product and Engineering, as well as represent Pinterest science externally with customers and partners.
What you'll do:
- Own the development of measurement methodologies that help advertisers understand and optimize the value of their Pinterest campaigns across the full ads delivery funnel.
- Design, implement, and validate advanced causal inference methods for incrementality and lift measurement.
- Ensure scientific rigor in our measurement products by anticipating and mitigating risks such as bias, imbalance, and under-power.
- Influence Ads Product & Engineering to define the measurement roadmap and integrate science solutions into products and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external measurement partners (e.g., clean rooms, conversion APIs, MMM partners, MTA vendors) to design and evaluate joint solutions.
- Define and own key success metrics for 1P measurement products; build tools and frameworks that enable teams and advertisers to make better decisions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other data scientists and analysts, elevating measurement rigor and impact across the org.
- Clearly communicate complex concepts and tradeoffs to executives, cross-functional stakeholders, and external customers.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data.
- 5+ years in ads measurement with a strong focus on ad effectiveness and incrementality (e.g., conversion lift, brand lift, budget-split testing, matched-market tests, MMM, MTA).
- Proficiency in SQL and expertise in at least one scripting language (ideally Python or R).
- Strong business and product sense, with a track record of turning ambiguous questions into well-defined analyses or success metrics and driving decisions that balance scientific rigor and business value.
- Demonstrated leadership of key technical projects and meaningful influence on the work of other data scientists, particularly junior and senior peers.
- Excellent communication skills and experience leading initiatives across multiple product areas and partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

As a member of the Programmatic Technical Operations team, you will drive the success of Pinterest's programmatic ad products by serving as the primary client contact for deal creation, campaign setup, and launches. Pinterest helps Pinners discover and do what they love. Homefeed is literally the first surface Pinners see when they open the app and so it forms the front-and-center of the Pinterest experience for 400M+ pinners every month. The Homefeed Relevance team's mission is to recommend inspiring & engaging pins for all our Pinners. We are looking for a Tech Lead Architect who can drive cross-team engineering efforts for shipping ML-driven product experiences to our pinners. You'll have the opportunity to work on various innovative projects of new product experiences, build large-scale low-latency systems and state-of-the-art machine learning models, and deliver great impact to our pinners and business metrics.
What you'll do:
- Improve relevance and the user experience on Homefeed
- Work on state-of-the-art large-scale applied machine learning projects
- Improve the efficiency and reliability of large-scale data processing and ML inference pipeline
- Improve our engineering systems to improve the latency, capacity, stability and reduce infra cost
What we're looking for:
- Languages: Python, Java
- Machine Learning: PyTorch, Tensorflow
- Big data processing: Spark, Hive, MapReduce
- 7+ years experience with Recommender system or User modeling, implementing production ML systems at scale
- 7+ years experience with large scale distributed backend service
- Experience in working in Deep learning and Generative AI models
- Experience in closely collaborating with product managers / designers to ship ML-driven user-facing product
- Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience

Within the Monetization ML Engineering team, we try to connect the dots between the aspirations of Pinners and the products offered by our partners. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a vision for the evolution of the machine learning technology stack within Ads.
What you'll do:
- Build cutting edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest
- Partner closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve ML models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search), while gaining knowledge of how ML works in different areas
- Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of our data to improve candidates retrieval
- Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches
- Keep up with industry trends in recommendation systems
- Leverage LLMs to enhance content understanding
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of industry experience applying machine learning methods (e.g., user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, search, ranking, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and graph representation learning)
- Degree in computer science, statistics, or related field; or equivalent experience
- End-to-end hands-on experience with building data processing pipelines, large scale machine learning systems, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark)
- Practical knowledge of large scale recommender systems, or modern ads ranking, retrieval, targeting, marketplace systems
- Nice to have:
- M.S. or PhD in Machine Learning or related areas
- Publications at top ML conferences
- Expertise in scalable realtime systems that process stream data
- Passion for applied ML and the Pinterest product
- Background in computational advertising
