The Lead, Pharmacy Technician is responsible for monitoring and prioritizing the medication dispensing workflow at the market level for all Medication and Pharmacy Technicians. - Participates in and assists with implementing processes that improve Medication Adherence in our Centers.
- Aids in the implementation of pharmacy objectives as determined by market leadership in partnership with the corporate Medication COE team.
- Takes part in the employment cycle of Pharmacy/Medication Techs by participating in the recruitment process, screening of candidates and interviews.

- Reviews medication incident reports and identifies opportunities for improvement to prevent future errors.
- Escalates significant issues to the attention of market leadership with recommendations for solutions while maintaining open communication with Medication COE for additional support, tools and resources.
- Collaborates with market leadership to support the growth and development of Med/Pharm Techs by providing continual feedback regarding performance.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Participates in quality self-assessments. Participates in the development of action plans for identified areas of opportunity.
- Meets with Medication COE, HEDIS and Clinical Operations/Quality on a monthly basis or as needed to report feedback.

PAY RANGE:

- The Planning, Supervising, Controlling and Organizing within the pharmacy according to the hospital policies
- Recommend innovations to pharmacy and hospital administration
- Will oversee Pharmacy Operations for the hospital
Requirements of the Director of Pharmacy
- BS or Pharm D
- 3+ years of Pharmacy Management in the hospital setting
- 340B utilization experience
