Mancan Staffing is looking for an as needed Pharmacy Technician in St. Clairsville Ohio, to support licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring pharmacy operations run efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with state and federal regulations.
This position is M-F 830am-5pm and pays $19 an hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
Accurately enter prescription information into pharmacy software systems
Measure, package, label, and prepare medications for patient distribution
Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating medications
Handle controlled substances in compliance with regulations
Provide courteous customer service and respond to patient inquiries
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Support daily pharmacy operations, including answering phones and coordinating with healthcare providers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred or required depending on state
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and HIPAA compliance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and data entry proficiency
Experience with pharmacy management systems and insurance processing
Work Environment:
Pharmacy Technicians may work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, or mail-order pharmacies. The role typically involves standing for extended periods, handling medications, and frequent interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering phone calls in prompt and courteous manner to achieve contractual obligations. Responsible for answering Member's and Provider's questions with a quick and accurate response.
