FUNCTION: Responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure that mortgage and home equity loan applications are processed accurately and efficiently. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare and review initial disclosure packages, including Loan Estimates, ensuring accurate loan setup and compliance with loan program guidelines.
- Deliver disclosure packages to members via eSign or mail, based on their communication preferences.
- Order and track required third-party reports such as appraisals, title, flood certifications, tax transcripts, and employment verifications.
- Review borrower documentation for completeness and alignment with AUS findings; request and collect any outstanding items.
- Process home equity applications from approval to closing, including communication with members, delivering required documents, and clearing pre-closing conditions.
- Monitor and review title and property condition reports, escalating any issues to underwriting as needed.
- Ensure timely submission of loan files to underwriting; update the LOS with verified information and clear conditions as received.

Northwind Group is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our commercial real estate credit platform. This individual will be responsible for actively managing our loan portfolio from origination through payoff, working in close collaboration with our investment, accounting, and finance teams to maximize portfolio performance.
Responsibilities
Loan Portfolio Management
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans including bridge, ground-up construction, conversions, and select mezzanine debt positions across all asset classes, with a particular emphasis on residential product types
- Conduct regular borrower and property-level reviews, including financial statement analysis, rent roll reviews, operating statement analysis, loan reserve analysis, and covenant compliance tracking

- Track construction timelines, budget variances, and completion milestones; escalate material deviations to senior management

Legal Documentation & Compliance
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of loan documents including loan agreements, mortgages/deeds of trust, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, and participation agreements

- Review and process loan modification requests, extensions, and amendments in coordination with legal counsel

- CFPยฎ designation, CFAยฎ designation required (may consider 24 month condition of employment)
- Bachelorโs Degree required
- Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license required
- Active and valid FINRA 66 license required (may consider a 120-day COE)
- Active and valid FINRA 9/10 required (may consider a 120-day COE)
- Five plus yearsโ experience in the financial services industry
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience strongly preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
