Role Description

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist / Technician with 2-4 years of experience performing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM standards and Texas regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys fieldwork, and wants to grow within the environmental due diligence and remediation space.


Key Responsibilities

Phase I ESA Duties

  • Conduct site inspections and property reconnaissance.
  • Review historical sources (aerials, city directories, topographic maps, etc.).Β Β Β Β Β Β 
  • Review regulatory databases for environmental records.
  • Interview site contacts, property owners, and relevant agencies.
  • Identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and prepare clear, defensible findings.
  • Prepare complete Phase I ESA reports following ASTM E1527.


Phase II ESA Duties

  • Assist in planning and executing soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling events.
  • Oversee drilling operations, direct-push sampling, and monitoring well installation.
  • Collect soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samples in accordance with industry standards.
  • Perform field screening and document field notes, chain-of-custody, and sample logs.
  • Coordinate with certified laboratories for sample analysis.
  • Contribute to Phase II ESA reporting, including data interpretation and summary tables.


Preferred Skills:

  • Β Experience with GPS/GIS data collection.
  • Β TRRP (Texas Risk Reduction Program) familiarity.
  • Β Experience with groundwater sampling techniques (low flow, bailers, etc.).

The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of ground-up student housing development projects, from site identification and underwriting through entitlements, design, financing, construction, and delivery. The Associate / Senior Associate – Capital Markets supports CRG’s regional offices, Capital Markets team, and senior leadership through financial analysis of new development opportunities, active projects, and the broader CRG development platform. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, portfolio management, brokerage, or lending; industrial experience is a plus by not required.
  • Must understand complex pro forma cash flows and valuation models. Experience with joint venture equity structures and waterfall mods is a plus but not required.
  • Proven financial analysis and valuation capability (NPV, IRR, lease comparison, ROI, DCF Modeling, Payback, etc.) with highly advanced Excel modeling skills, including the accurate underwriting and modeling of large ground-up developments. Additional data aggregation and analysis skills (such as portfolio rollups and sensitivities) are a plus.
  • Desire to learn and become well-versed in the market dynamics and fundamentals of covered regions.
  • General understanding of the development process and key due diligence items (title, survey, environmental, zoning, entitlements).

The Director of Construction is responsible for serving as the main point of contact overseeing the execution of ground-up student housing developments from preconstruction through closeout and stabilization handoff. The Director of Construction will run the owner/architect/contractor meetings, provide answers on behalf of ownership and keep the project team on task including pay application reviews, change order reviews, RFIs and submittals. This role oversees budgets, schedules, contracting strategy, quality, safety, and project controls across a portfolio of active projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with the company’s design standards, brand, and operational requirements for student move-in.

  • Partner with Development and Design to translate underwriting assumptions into executable construction plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead GC/CM selection strategy (RFPs, interviews, scope leveling, bid analysis, buyout approach, qualifications).

Since 1997, the Center for Congregations has helped Indiana congregations address their needs through resource consulting, educational events, and grants. We work with clergy, staff, and laity by listening to their concerns, developing work plans and carefully matching resources with their specific needs. The Center has offices in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, Seymour, and Crown Point to serve congregations throughout the state.

The Associate for Resource Consulting provides direct services to Indiana congregations as assigned by the Director of the Southwest Office. The Associate's work with congregations will include intake of new cases; work with congregations on cases that include grants; carrying a caseload assigned to the Associate; and evaluation follow up as assigned. The Associate will be part of other projects as assigned by the Director of the Southwest Office and may include work with the Congregational Resource Guide (CRG), communications and/or education. RESPONSIBILITIES

Resource Consulting (80%)

EVALUATION

Participation in Center self-development, including all case reviews (3 per month) and Resource Consulting Development sessions (1 per month). Monthly meetings with the Director of the Southwest Office and the Senior Director of Grants and Resource Consulting. Annual performance review with the Director of the Southwest Office.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
