The Neurodiagnostic Tech performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists. They may assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory.

Responsibilities
- Perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare patients for EMG / NCS procedures, including verifying identity, explaining the test, and answering basic questions.
- Accurately place electrodes and operate EMG/NCS equipment to obtain reliable, interpretable data.
- Assist the supervising physician during EMG examinations, including adjusting settings, recording data, and documenting findings as directed.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout testing, following CitiMed policies and infection control standards.
- Review patient history and indications for testing; confirm test orders and clarify discrepancies with the ordering provider.
- Maintain and calibrate EMG/NCS equipment; promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Accurately document procedures, test parameters, and observations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Follow all clinic policies, including our policy regarding patients under the influence and other safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and front office staff to support efficient clinic flow and on‑time patient scheduling.
- Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and compliance activities as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal training as an EMG / NCS Technician, Neurodiagnostic Tech, or related field; or equivalent on‑the‑job experience.
- Demonstrated experience performing nerve conduction studies in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Basic knowledge of neuroanatomy and neuromuscular physiology related to EMG/NCS.
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, and manage time effectively.
- Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
Preferred:
- Certification such as Registered Nerve Conduction Studies Technologist (R.NCS.T), CNCT, or other relevant neurodiagnostic certification.
- Experience in an injury / physical medicine / pain management / neurology practice.

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Child Neurologist with specialized training in Epilepsy and Neurophysiology to join our growing neuroscience team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment serving the children of South Texas. The ideal candidate will provide both inpatient and outpatient care for children with neurologic conditions, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurologic care to pediatric patients, including those with complex epilepsy.
- Interpret EEGs and other neurodiagnostic studies.
- Participate in the development and/or expansion of Epilepsy Service Driscoll Children’s Hospital.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $24.86per hour - $41.52per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model. Our endocrinology group in central New Jersey is expanding and we are currently looking for a highly motivated endocrinologist to join us.
Our endocrinology practice consists of four endocrinologists, a nurse-practitioner and ancillary staff including RDs.
This is a truly unique opportunity to have significantly higher income than anywhere in the country as our practice is not contractually bound to receive fixed low payments from insurance companies, and heavily relies on in-house diagnostic testing and ancillary services/providers: full service laboratory, DEXA scan, thyroid ultrasonography and ultrasound-guided FNA, vascular diagnostic testing, neurodiagnostic testing for diabetic neuropathy and more.
